So with the update being live, is there any hope that we will still see a tech tree version in the near future? Almost 1,000 votes for yes, does Gaijin ever read these forums?
Also, the F-14D that newly released in the game is exactly the upgrade it needed minus the potential aim-120a. Having normal TWS in sim makes a difference(Although I haven’t bought it,just test flown)
Lastly, I saw on MatAWG’s video on the new skins for aircraft in the new update, and the F-14D was named the F-14D-160. Which I believe is an early block of the F14-D, could this mean that they are waiting to add a F-14D Late? Since the update launched it has been changed back to F-14D(Super Tomcat).

It really sucks to say this but the f14D is not it bro the aim54 is practically still the same a meme missile still stuck with aim7m at the very least we got aim9m but that was way long over do and the radar is as good as the armaments practically mid at best definitely not worth the $80 (aaa rated game) this is pretty ridiculous hopefully the give us f14D(r) w/aim7p-2 for the tech tree at 13.0 and f14D w/aim120A at 13.3

It should have been tech tree, because its a premium they will NOT make it better than the other f14s. I love slop premiums that ruin entire br brackets and vehicle lines, wonderful choice Gaijin

It’s already better than other F-14s in practically the most important things. Radar (while still missing modes and nerfed) and has IRST that helps a lot especially in a plane without HMD.
The problem is the best F-14 is Premium with no TT counterpart , which is a bad thing for the game in general as a mentality.
The problem all F-14s (except IRIAF ) is that GJ refuses to fix AIM-54 properly. Still its flight envelope is garbage, when data exist and they just deny them . From rocket engine thrust to flight profile to maybe even drag (i am not sure about the last , but the numbers are very weird) .
And to add in the problem , they keep buffing F90 which no valid info exist, just claims and the whole thing is product of GJ calculations based on those claims and things that are known (for ex. we know that it tried 2 engines) , now they buffed it’s guidance because Phoenix got a buff…but F90 why it got a buff? Under what data? Just “they felt” it should .

I think that depends on who you ask that, giving it aim120A at 13.3 will make it like f16ADF situation where some people just want it to carry fox 1 at 13.0 and and some others are fine with it having AMRAAMs
