This is literally so stupid from Gaijin, 1k people just asking for a copy paste version in the TT. There’s literally no good reason not to put it in there. Shooting themselves in the foot yet again.
It’s both.
Looking else where the F-14D still isn’t popular still 0 for approval on steam.
The discourse does appear to be related to it being a premium.

Just saying but if such people actually have playtime it might just be that someone sent them a link to the poll regarding the vehicle of their interest (in this case F-14D). I wouldnt necessarily call them bot accounts when they actually play or played the game itself.
Like seriously, a guy with “AIR FORCES TESTER” badge being a bot account?
Tbf Steam comments are never, not in a single instance objective or approving of anything that Gaijin posts there.
Not really a bot, but definitely a compelled voter in something that should be both random and unbiased.
It’s simple. People run to Discord channels and invite everyone to vote.
Tbf you are out of metrics. You look at the steam post it has 0 likes which mean more people disliked it than liked it. So at the moment you have 2 sources with strong opinions about it being a premium. I am willing to bet if we looked to another source we would find the same.
There is no such thing as an un-biased poll.
Not on this forum, correct.
Not anywhere. People that have no strong opinion will tend to ignore a poll. Unless you are going up to people on the street then your poll is flawed cause it will include people who don’t play.
Then you add an option for indifferent people to really see how many players actually want it in the game.
Something like an in-game poll can’t be ignored.
What do you mean it can’t be ignored? It happens all the time. “Please take this 2 min survey.” presses x on top right.
It’s very easy to block access to the game until poll has been completed.
Then you get bad data of people just clicking through. Congratulations you still lose accurate data.
So because they’ve been made aware of the poll their votes don’t count?
Okay, some people will go through it, you are right.
It’d then be pretty simple to just randomize the order of the poll, so one answer doesn’t get the benefit from people clicking through.
Forum poll simply can’t compare with in-game ones in terms of accuracy.
Telling people to vote and most likely what for is pretty much a petition then, not a poll.
You can’t force people to vote for something they don’t support. They’re posting it in a WT Discord to bring attention to it, whether they include their own opinion on it has no bearing on how others choose to vote.
A petition only has one option, sign it. This page very clearly has two options at the top
Yes or No
It does and it’s called bias.
The thread itself is extremely biased towards one answer, which is everything a poll shouldn’t be.
This thing definitely looks much more like a petition than a poll due to reasons mentioned above. A true poll would be presented in a neutral way and include three answers. Yes, No and Don’t care.
