As for the Singaporean playerbase, you won’t find too many of them on the forums, which is due to low population of Singapore relative to other nations represented in game. The general trend is that older Singaporeans have overwhelmingly negative views of Japan, being closer to the generations that lived under the occupation. Younger Singaporeans mostly have positive, but cautious, views, consistent with Japanese soft power and Western (ie, US) posturing in the region (US and China rivalry). You’ll see the latter appear more often here, as this is a video game, and the forum language is English (spoken by about half of Singaporeans), which inevitably leads to a biased representation towards younger, more Western-adjacent population.
Singaporean here, if you’re looking into this as a game play any country would work, if you take the political situation, I would rather have 1. an asian tech tree, but that’s not happening as they are splitting all asian countries up, 2. would actually go to Israel, as we have been in a military alliance where we bought weapons from them and they provide our military with training, 3. UK/British, as we were a colony of them, there are so many reasons to go to countries that have a relation compared to China

Honestly speaking a nation that could really benefit of having singapore as a subtree in air and ground is israel both nations have really strong relations between each other in terms of defense, vehicles, armament, technology, etc singapore even uses the israeli made TAVOR RIFLE for its armed forces man!! soo come onnn, also israel until fifth gens are added it would lack a 4+ platform with AESA radar and singapore have the F-15SG which could solve that technological gap, singapore have a lot of good IFVs and medium tanks that can perfectly complement with israeli vehicles giving it to israel really cool and strong lineups and also the israeli tree have a lot of space to add a huge amount of vehicles this is amazing because all singaporean vehicles can be added without any problem, this would make this tree more vivid! and also more atractive too! soo for me is : +1 to israel!!!

As an aviation-only guy I neither against nor support the addition, though Singapore wouldn’t add too much as F-5 & F-16 are already in the CN tree. New F-15SG plua a future F-35 and that’s about it, A-4SU is cool but I prefer the still-not-added A-4M.
Pakistan Air Force has more to offer, though basically all C&P.

For a military tie, one could argue that Singaporean “Starlight Forces” were trained in Taiwan since 1975 lol
literally lol , if anything it should japan or just make a korean tree and add singapore to them .
In all honesty , singapore tree is not needed anyway

In my honest opinion , we dont need it . Imao whats the point of these trees , its all the same american stuff with more or less new weapons . Indonesia is already going to japan. Japan has a CAS issue , if the devs can add proper f16 variants of thai air force , the cas problem would be easily gone .
I voted no, because ideally I’d prefer a dedicated Commonwealth tree. The British tree actually has as much unique content as the big 3, they actually don’t need all these Commonwealth vehicles.
Alternatively, a united SEA tree of some kind could be nice too.
