No reason for pol i ukr, they don’t really have a close military industry until fairly recent.
Also during communist times we never bought stuff that could even slightly be considered Ukrainian like T-80UD (designing in Ukraine ssr)
A better example of a subtree or even co-tree with Poland would be czechoslavokia, which we collaborated with in military industry during and after communism (not much before, but before we had a lot a domestic designs so no real need)
A perfect example of this is the T-72M2 moderna ingame has the same engine as PT-91, the Wola S-12U
It also might have SCC-1 obra LWS, but I could be thinking of the Czech modernization T-72M4.
There is also examples from communist times like OT-62/TOPAS and OT-64/SKOT

Even WoT has got a polish techtree (And a czech one). Can war thunder really be any worse than WoT?
Issue is Wot :
A. Used several paper designs
B. Does not need to worry about lineups unlike WT where you use multiple vehicles per round (barring ARB).
C. Only uses tanks and other ground anti armour vehicles while wt focuses on ground (including spaa which wot doesn’t), aircraft, helicopters, bluewater and coastal aircraft.
This would mean much more vehicles would be added and also need to make sure that there’s enough lineups (while only using fully or partially built stuff and make sure that there is enough evidence for some vehicles), which would take more time to do in air, ground and naval rather than like 14 or so tanks in wot, also allowing paper designs and in some cases, completely fictional designs.
Also Gajingles likes premiums and copy paste so take that as you will.
Still hope Poland gets it’s tree.
Edit: Also doesn’t the Polish/Czech trees in WoT go up to ww2? I might be misremembering but I’m pretty sure the nation specific trees end at post war and then turns into West/East/Neutral.
Even IF poland would get its techtree i dont think it would get naval and helicopters.
I’m not well read about helis but considering that Israel is a playable nation despite it having a grand total of 3 non missile destroyers (One Z class and two Hunt batch II class iirc), Poland should have a good shot for naval.
Israel is 90% usa 9% bad tanks and 1% m-51
Our helicopter tree is more unique than the Japanese one that’s for sure
Poland has so many helicopters, we’ll be PERFECTLY fine on that. Ill make some helicopter suggestions in the future, but just know that for the helicopter side of things there will be no problem.
For naval, most minor nations in game don’t/cant have a naval tree.
We could get a bluewater tech tree, but it would have to end at rank for as we never pursued battleships. This could also be fixed if they gave us guided missile destroyers at that tier instead of battleships, but in the end for bluewater we’d never be as high as nations like US.
As for coastal, there is plenty of coastal ships from prewar riverine fleet and communist era (even a few new ones from III RP). Coastal fleet would be a mix of British and Soviet, with a few French and German things from prewar. Coastal tree wouldn’t be total copy paste, we still had plenty of unique designs, but most (other than prewar designs) would follow Soviet strategy

Original helicopters?
In addition to original helicopters, a lot of our Soviet era helicopters have been decently modernized.
Unfortunately some aren’t super modernized in-service. For example the mi-24 has multiple times (as early as 2004) been proposed with large upgrades, all of which fell through.
The most recent from 2019 was to be decided on January 2025, but I don’t really know what happened with it because there has been no news. The technology demonstrator looked great, but it one big problem is it had no helicopter blades or tail. It could possibly be implemented ingame as it is much more real than things like the F16AJ, Ho-Ri, etc.
As for service modifications, the mi-24s got the much more modernized TV3-117VMA engines, have access to terma MASE now pods (same as on AH-64D ingame) and some newer rocket pods

It is a F-16A ingame that never existed, and was just a proposal for Japan

Well Romania and Hungary is an Italian subtree, East Germany is with… well you can guess.
Then Poland and Czechoslovakia are both big enough to make their own trees.
Bulgaria and Albania both have domestic/modded stuff, but nowhere near enough for a tree.
