I play as a 2.3 br German player but I get put in matches with 3.3 players. so, y is this happening
Match making scales +/- 1 br so when playing 2.3 like you are a full uptier would be 3.3 and a full downtier would be 1.3

That is just phrasing it wrong. a full downtier is a 2.3 match. Match BR is decided by the highest BR vehicle in the match.
Your lineup BR is the same as the match BR/highest BR in match => You have a full downtier
Your lineup BR is 0.3 below the match BR => downtier
Your lineup BR is 0.6 below the match BR => uptier
Your lineup BR is 1.0 below the match BR => full uptier
so by that logic with you playing 2.3 it follows
3.3 is a full uptier
3.0 is an uptier
2.7 is downtier
2.3 is full downtier
What are you even talking about?
If your highest tank in your lineup is 2.3 and someone else is 1.3 then you are in a full down tier.
When your tank is 2.3 and the other one is 3.3, you are in a full uptier.
When your medium tank costs 150 spawn points, you are in a full down tier.
When it costs 100 spawn points, you are in a full uptier.
I think you have the right idea but you’re explaining it oddly, with your explanation they would never face vehicles that are one BR lower than themselves.

yes but the match is still not a 1.3 match. A 1.3 match is not even possible in game
I mean not really. If you are playing in a full downtier in a 2.3 match there is also people in the same match who are playing a full uptier with their 1.3 lineups
Yeah, you just didn’t explain that part very well in my opinion :P
What this means, but you didn’t explain, is that your following explanations means that a 3.3 “full uptier” is a 2.3 - 3.3 match, a 3.0 “uptier” match is a 2.0-3.0 match and so on.
The plus/minus 1 BR isn’t explained very well in your post, it’s inferred. but i tend to try to avoid inferring things when explaining to others that don’t know the thing i’m trying to explain to them.
