We definitely dont rule it out. But there is nothing in any immediate plans to speak of.
Reports are more than welcome for any historical evidence to correct the name of the vehicle (or any other changes to it). But outside of a forwarded report, there are no plans to speak of currently for any planned changes.
Maybe you’re confused? There are two variants, the version with the TML turret and the one Gaijin replaced it with using the XC-8 turret. PercussionCap claims the TML version that Gaijin originally added was “not real” and yet it looks identical to photos of the real thing which is why I was questioning that claim.
Ah, that makes sense then. Sucks that Gaijin chose to replace it instead of adding the XC-8 version as a separate vehicle, as without the stab and thermals the TML version could have actually been put at a different RB entirely.
I remembered something was wrong about the original 90105 but couldn’t quite remember what it was, so there you go. There’s still a chance we see the TML sometime in the future.
Because it’s so hard for the moderator to tell why a report wasn’t approved?
“Hey I noticed you spent X hours writing this suggestion, but I can not approve it unless you change this and that.”
No, I need to contact a Mod, who then has to find out why another Mod didn’t approve my report.
What logic is that?
So I can’t make a suggestion saying move the Sherman II to 3.3 and remove T45 APCR but I can make a suggestion of just saying “Remove T45 APCR from the Sherman II”? because how dare I, suggesting a BR change that makes sense in the same sentence?
Unfortunately due to the number of suggestions submitted, yes, it is sadly impractical to send a PM to each and every person on why a suggestion was not approved. The guidelines are often the primary factor, in that they were not followed.
For reports, a reason is always given on the closure of the report.
BR changes and suggestions have and will always be handled in the BR update feedback topics. Otherwise the suggestions section will simply be spammed with a multitude of topics on the same vehicle, going either up or down.
Ok, what do you do when you message one of the suggestion moderators and they outright lie to you about your post breaking the guidelines? And then you message the senior moderators and one of them repeats the lie and the other ignores the message? Who is there to go to next?
The final escalation point would be a PM to myself if you have an unresolved matter taken first through the Suggestion Moderators and then Senior Suggestion Moderators. However if a case has already been reviewed by the Seniors, it is unlikely to be a “lie”. More there is a misunderstanding at hand.
Gaijin has said a lot of things, such as no “Top Tier Premiums” or “No supersonic jets”, but here we are.
There are now 6 of these permanently out of the game. Quite simply, why does it matter to remove them? Sure, they’re fake, but they’re the backbone of some lineups, which many players can no longer get and use. The Japanese had their fun fighter aircraft replaced with a C&P strike aircraft no one cares about.
The Tiger 2 [10.5cm], Panther 2, Flakpanzer 341, and all the R2Y2 are fun. Why can’t a game like War Thunder be more fun?
There is no true realism in War Thunder, and I’d rather see more variety at 7.0 than “M48”.
If I spoke my own language my message would probably be deleted but when a Chinese player speaks their own language nothing happens because gaijin sucks at Chinese people
So, actually, a quick question on that. Being that the vehicle we have in-game was, in effect, just a test mule chassis with the gun temporarily mounted on it for trials that never received a formal designation would it be best just to find sources proving that and leave the name up to Gaijin, or should I make a suggestion for a modern name following German conventions?
Tiger 105 is as realistic as the having more than one Japanese Tiger 1 in a match or the British Sherman II firing T45 APCR that was never issued for combat.
Tons of vehicles have made up stats because there’s no information on it.
A lot of things which didn’t work in real life, do in WT.
So there’s pretty much no point in not having vehicle modifications or proposals that never existed in that form because WT is full of made up things already.
What’s the difference of making up the performance of a vehicle vs. making up the performance of a vehicle that was never produced?
