While I’m very happy to see multi-vehicle SPAA, the introduction of giant, multi-vehicle systems seems tone deaf when you have maps like tiny Sinai or Advance to the Rhine in the top-tier rotation. Even now, with big vehicles like the Pantsir or FlakRakRad I feel like a betta fish in a cup-sized bowl of water, and the kid poking me is an AASM Hammer or a dopamine addicted Fuji who ran from his spawn to mine in under a minute.
Giving SPAA Spawn marked options outside of the normal bounds of the map (Like how Heli’s have two different spawns) gives both sides (SPAA and Air) a chance to properly fight each other. At the end of the match just autokill the remaining SPAA and divvy up the XP and SL that would’ve been gained by killing them to all players based on activity (So there wouldn’t be a net loss in xp and sl).
Over half of the maps are way too small or have too low cover for very tall trucks. Imagine if they add an S-300, the tip of the erected launcher would be 10m above the ground.
Well, as far as my calculations have gone so far, we’re getting 8 meter tall SPAAs now, but yeah, we need larger maps.
Finally, a target I can hit on complete accident
HE-VT will be on a rampage.
They definitely have to extend their out of bounds reach to give them a proper chance to hide and also track aircraft. It’s not like maps don’t have proper collisions in the first place. But to be fair, I’d be happier if Gaijin just fixed the fact that maps are too small and CQC-heavy most of the time or too open with no actual cover (it’s not rocket science to know how to balance balance them in a way that they both have more covers and are large, seriously).
+1 All of planes tanks helis need better spawns
