Anyone with even a basic understanding of aircraft knows that a helicopter is an aircraft, so it would be correct to grind a helicopter with a plane instead of a tank, especially since grinding with a tank is very tedious and takes much longer than with a plane (I find playing with a tank boring), but it’s not just because of that, it’s much more logical to use a plane than a tank, there’s no arguing against it, thank you if you can help with the topic or give tips on how we can pass this on. Besides, to get a helicopter you need to reach rank 5 in both tank and plane, so the plane is already doubly important for this. Please, gaijin, put this into action!

Helis are part of ground forces not air forces, so it’s correct. Also why you need helis without tanks?
I mean air forces also operate helicopters, not just armies.
Imo it makes sense as you can unlock helicopters via aircraft.
This however is untrue, you only need one of the tier 5 or above branch vehicles
mostly helis part of Army (Ground Forces) Aviation - Air Corps, not Air Forces itself
i get that but it would be nice to have that option too to be able to use the air tree to help research the helis as any way to speed up research would be a improvement

Yeah, research them with any (Air Force or Ground Force) branch would be great, especialy because it can be obtained after any fifth ranks of each branch

yeah plus maybe it could research quicker as you seem to get more xp in air battles than ground more easily

Most helicopters are used in various branches like the navy, air force, and army, but I’m not saying to stop researching helicopters with tanks. I just wish it were also possible to research helicopters with airplanes because it’s faster. In a tank, getting 10 kills with premium and a premium account gives you around 20k, while in an airplane I can get 5 kills and I’ve already gotten 10 kills with the F4E. In an airplane, getting two kills and a base with premium and a premium account gives you 23k or more because you can do much more! I don’t want to be better than anyone, I’m just sharing my experience and that would help a lot. Besides, I can play helicopters in custom games without needing a tank!
My personal opinion is that you can unlock helicopters with planes or tanks of rank 5+, but you can only research helicopters with PvE or tanks, not planes, so it doesn’t make sense. The correct way is to research helicopters with PvE, tanks, and planes!

When most of attack and utility helis are part of army air corps. Air Force and Navy ones are mostly multi-purpose (utility) helis for spotting, transport or similar and performing additional purpose. And researching with planes “additionaly” would be better instead of “instead”
Would be good if they add helicopters to air modes, like air sim for example. Would make grinding them out much easier.
Maybe for toptier ones, but for lowtier ones it would be hell
