the su-30sm in real life can’t compete with f-22 in dogfights
source: physics
Theres one more source maybe - red dlag with India.
But not sure about dogfights of Su-30 and F-22 tbb
Tylon > world
Tbh depends on pilot
bait used to be belivable
im using the same logic as the person i replied to
In my opinion when it comes to the su30sm and thrust vectoring it more just starts falling then like drifting in the air
Don’t forget the trim benefits. Lower trim drag means slightly increased speed and improved endurance. Thrust vectoring just changes the nozzle shape, the challenge is minimising the extra weight. Once that gets cracked thrust vectoring will probably end up on most fighter aircraft.
You can’t just say that and not list any of the calculations
Aren’t they bigger?
F-22 is far from a light airframe
“Lighter” not light I was highlighting the benefits of 2D TV because the F-22’s airframe allow it to be very effective.
Yeah it does help the F-22, but what exactly is the F-22 lighter than?
Su-35 and Su-57 which have 3D thrust
Edit nevermind the F-22 is really freaking heavy
F-22 is heavier than both
Yeah I just realized that. Idk why the 2D works so well on it then.
Because its about wingloading ratio and the f22 has a good one like the su30sm and the su30 also is a littel way to heavy and produces 4tonns less thrust than rl
The problem all the Flankers currently have is too much drag and not enough lift
So that’s a good thing then? All the missiles being center mass with a ton of thrust.
Umm. No not really. Maybe su30sm2 with al41s.
