That’s the thing - 90% of all poles are catholic, and majority of them are very strict catholic (myself included). Yet, these memes are flowing non stop for 20 years.

If you think about it, who is actually immature? The edgy teenagers putting shitty and unhistorical decals on their vehicles, or the players reporting them? You trying to insult the latter is massive cope.
I myself disagree with the current situation; numbers should be given to all players (Personally I have no conflict of interest, as I already have them). What is necessary, however, is an efficient and effective system of moderation that allows players to report specific decal placements of hateful players. Particularly, decals which are both hateful and unrealistic should be punished, as they show exclusively hateful intentions. Why is that bad, in your eyes?
Opposing adding number decals because of players reporting hateful arrangements of them, is like opposing the existence of supermarkets because people call the police when they are stolen from (not because of the thieves stealing from them). Or opposing cars because people complain on social media about drunk drivers (not even opposing them because of drunk driving in the first place). It’s absolute stupidity, and the mental gymnastics required to have such a shallow opinion are ridiculous.

I dont care at all, but given the freedom this will happen every match. The result will be 1000’s of cry babies spammimg reports. Gaijin doesnt want to deal with it.

It is not about implying reporting is bad, it is never was. But people tend to associate smallest thing with their belief and report it , even if it is fine. But if you got a problem with it then:

Z is what caused us to get them removed, and the 30 sec chat cooldown that was removed recently. Ppl tking or ramming each other and yelling in chat if a ukie flag and Z met in spawn.

Same arguement for chat and refusing to mute people in most recent games, it will go nowhere, and devs always take the side of crybabies or just nuke the ability to communicate at all.
I’ve reported a fair share of these bozos, sparingly and only when extreme, continued hate is displayed. And yet I haven’t received any notifications of action being taken on my reports.
Matter of fact, I have only received 1 notification of action being taken on my reports, ever since this notification thing was implemented more than half a year ago in Sept 2024. Despite having reports in the double digits on hate speech in general since then (Yes, this is how prevalent it is). It’s unknown to me as to whether this is due to the notification system being broken, not notifying in case of minor punishment, or action simply not being taken. But the result is clear: hate and foul speech is prevalent in chat.
Top tier Air RB chat is probably the worst in terms of it.
I know that as a staff member, you (both necessarily and naturally) tend towards a positive view of the game. That contrasts heavily with what many players see, and many particularly think the strength of WT moderation is lacking.
The thing is that the “Z” symbol is banned in some countries, just like the Swastika. Thus, they’ve got the same treatment from Gaijin…
Pretty sure no , they don’t get the same treatment because X country ban A. Gaijin could not give half a fig about those. What matter is what people do when they see X in a battle. Not even talking about what the thing associate with , the fact that they went out of their way to teamkill and grief other people , leading to the situation escalate , gaijin would not want to do that. For swastika that is not even in the game and you will be damn sure that gaijin will punish people who make that symbol. The “Z” case in this situation does not hold the same weight as the latter.
“Waah I can’t put fascist images on my planes!!” - is what the core motivation is. On the surface these people may seem like the mature ones, because aren’t the other side, the people who are speaking out against hatred, the ones who shout and aggravate?
This viewpoint demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of morality. Imagine a man shouting racist and murderous slogans in public. Seeing many people violently take issue with him, he says “Why are you angry at me? You can just cover your ears if you don’t like what I am saying. You’re immature and violent because you are mad at me”. Now who is correct?
If you answered the man shouting hateful speech, you are almost certainly influenced by specific cultural concepts found in some areas of the world. You may mention - freedom and liberty. Freedom of speech, he has a right to say what he thinks in public. Or individuality - people should be encouraged to be special and different. Or the concept of law and order - attacking a person for their ideals is wrong no matter the context.
This is a unique perversion of concepts which seem pure at heart. Lies often contain a kernel of truth, after all. But if you look at the situation objectively - why should free speech ever be absolute? Why should this man’s racist and violent views be protected, and his right to spew hateful speech be worshipped like a divine right of the people? Why is dissenting action, however righteous, always so demonized and put down? I encourage you to think about these questions.
Ok man calm down , I am not ready for wall of text. First of all , I do not agree with whatever the far right , extremist,… in anything. I want to be free and I would like it to stay that way. What he meant is the playerbase mentally to associate real life event instantly then proceed to pick the worst outcome possible, that is to team kill and griefing. He did not vow for the “Let me put far right symbol on my vehicle” , he was criticizing the playerbase for picking the worst answer for the mildest situation.
And for the whole far right thing , that is left to the report system and the moderator. What we were talking about is the milder one (Rus flag/Ukr flag,“Z” symbol,…). The more general cases that lead to number/letter being disabled. Not the extreme stuff you talking about

I can understand accounting for player conflict, but he emphasized it so much so that the actual issue was minimalized.
In my opinion, player conflict and unrest from extreme political views would be kept to a minimal level, if Gaijin increased the efficiency of the censorship-moderation in the game (which is currently at an unacceptably low level). This improvement would turn allow for more player freedom, counterintuitively. It’s a rather simple fix - but it would require more employees, paid or not, more time; this is the logical reason it has not been done.
Maybe , I don’t know because even the reason I offered is also speculate but that could also be one of the big reason cause it might hurt their revenue.
