I reject this argument.

People already bring low tier props anyway.

I want the Zeppelin because it’s a fun addition for a game that desperately needs more fun additions.

No, there is no reason to keep it.

We don’t need it ruining ARB or feeding enemy teams with SP in GRB

Most people doing that are not good players.

And secondly, anyone who manages to spawn a blimp in top tier has contributed more than a premium player already.

If it’s a matter of perspectives, there’s no solution.

There’s countless players constantly asking to be able to keep the air vehicles of this event, and Gaijin would probably be open to it if it weren’t because of 2 things: 1. It’s a business choice, they need to advertise Aces of Thunder and attract players; 2. What players are achieving is nothing but irritating the staff, with all respect.

I’d support the addition of zeppelins as AI vehicles in certain scenarios, but not player controlled.

That’s the same logic. If you don’t enjoy it, that doesn’t mean others won’t.

The Genre between WarThunder and Aces of Thunder are completely different. You can’t compare a VR exclusive to a F2P Pay to Progress game like WarThunder.

It’s a limited time event vehicle. It isn’t going to rip sales for a game that’s playerbase is already hyper niche.

750 spawnpoints. You don’t get that out of thin air. You have to participate and do something.

No premium player dying without participating in a battle is going to be spawning it.

You do not use spawnpoints in ARB.

And if you spawn it in GRB you just flushed 750SP down the drain, the SP that could bring competetive plane/heli/3 tanks, contributing to yet another “land slide loss in 5mins”

If it wasn’t VR only, it’d make sense.

It being VR only bars:

  1. People on consoles that don’t support VR
  2. People with VR sickness that can only use VR for vibing with their favorite humans long-distance

Which is not an insignificant amount of people.

I imagine there’s a good number of sim players outside of me who’d be interested in aces but are barred by the above reasons from even considering it.
