Besides spawncamping isn’t the individuals fault it’s the game design’s
Spawncamping in either direction is a team failure of the defending side, always has been since the beginning of PVP games.
Battlefield 1942 veterans would explicitly tell newcomers that defense is priority.
Never lose your points.
If you have a general issue with PVP games, then say so. Spawncamping and PVP are intertwined.
I have asked teammates to drop ammo crates many times. It has literally NEVER happened once.
Laughs in HSTVL
Not that it would magically make teammates more cooperative; but I think now that ammo crates exist a radio command under menu 5 “requests” should be made requesting ammo drop.
Huh.
I have, and they were always courteous enough to drop me some.
Guess it was just me being particularly lucky.
My teammates don’t ever heed my messages or acknowledge
The ammo crates only provide ammo for the tank that sets it down
I didn’t know that.
How cheap and typically Gaijin.
It makes sense though.
It prevents people from stealing it from you. Just like how they made it so teammates cant crush it.
You could suggest to allow it to be used for squadmates though.
Just make it so it depletes the same no matter how many are near it…
What do you mean?
As in don’t make it “stealable” in the first place. Just let it act no different than a cap point would but on limited time or something.
that would be a sizable rework and they would have to nerf it somehow. having an instant resupply for the whole team would be a pretty strong.
besides, it was added due to the vehicles that had issues with low ammo counts. i dont think a sherman or leo should ever need it.
of course they did a blanket addition with it so i would be fine with them adding it to those that need it and removing it from those that dont.
Teams end up too spaced out for that to ever be a concern I think.
depends on the map. there are a few maps where it always seems like 95% of the team ends up in one flank.
i still dont see why they would do that over just giving it to vehicles that need it.
Most depressing comment by far
