Nothing should cost over half a million research points. That is insane. Even worse with helicopters needing close to a million or maybe even more RP in purchase and modifications to spade. One step ahead, two steps back… again.

I am very satisfied with the progression changes.
My only objection is that the ground battle mode continues to reward and incentivize only players who dedicate themselves to killing tanks, ignoring other actions and group dynamics that are equally or more necessary than just killing enemies to win a game.
I mean, I see people who only care about killing. 3 kills, 6 kills, etc. It’s the only thing that matters, the research point bonus.
To win a game, intelligence and exploration are also necessary, however you get little or no reward and allow the killers to maximize benefits. Exploration with drones does not provide any benefit to the operator, however it represents a huge help for the team. Assists are underrated and neither of them (assists or intelligence) provide extra reward bonuses.
I think that these types of “awards” only promote solitary, selfish, unstrategic, monotonous play in the roles that one can assume in one’s own team and also competitive within the same team (the competition should be Team vs. Team and yet ends up being between members of the same team).
In conclusion, I’m all for the bonus, I love that there is a bonus for achieving certain “goals”. My objection is that performing assists, intelligence, exploration, support or repair ends up being irrelevant and does not bring benefits.
I would like to suggest that the bonus be obtained for scores obtained and not for deaths.
Or also:
1 murder = 1 point
1 kill assist = 1/2 point
1 intelligence (which allowed a murder) = 1/3 point
I think this is incredible news ! The RP cost for modules of End of Line vehicles going down is just a fantastic change.
Although, this now raises the question. Are there any plans to get rid of stock HEATFS?
There is a situation like this:
- all vehicles in tech tree researched
- last modification in a tier almost completed for top of the tree vehicle
- this update
- RP cost for modification reduced, research completed, completing all modifications in a tier bonus is lost because no vehicle in tech tree to account it for
Will this happen and will I lose several bonuses I saved for when the next researcheable vehicle will be available in the tech tree after major update? Has somebody from Gaijin thought about this scenario? @Stona_WT
Remove the inguisto nerf to the Saharan Celere and give it the 3-second recharge, as it used to be.
Adding 2 additional ammo belts to the M42 Anti-Aircraft is a very similar vehicle to the Wirbelwind, but the M42 is a less manoeuvrable and agile vehicle than the Wirbelwind and also has a lot less ammo to use than the Wirbelwin … to me this behaviour looks like as always the developers have simply nerfed the Italy unfairly, for stupid reasons.
If you want it at BR 3.7, you have to give it at least 2 more 640 round ammo belts to use. It is simply absurd that the M42 only has 640 bullets, while the Wirbelwind has more than 3,200 that can be used in battle.
The M42 needs more ammo to even be considered for use in a game.It’s a life spent for nothing mostly.
Also a version with much more ammo could be considered to fill the gap between 3.7 and 5.0, Assuming the Leopard does not get bumped up which I think it will.
By reducing RP cost of endline vehicles does that mean that the amount required for the vehicle itself will be reduced or just modifications?

How will the RP conversion work for vehicles that are currently being researched?
Example. Let’s say the current total mod cost is 500,000 and I have earned 100,000 RP on that vehicle.
You guys reduced the total mod cost to 300,000, a 40% reduction. Will the RP that I’ve already earned be reduced by the same amount?
Will I be 100,000 into the now new 300,000 total or will I be knocked down to 60,000.

Hey there! Will we see and overall increase for RP rewards in the near future for ground battles? From my personal experience, I don’t really feel the difference for RP earnings before and after the roadmap changes and frankly, the changes for ground RP rewards are not noticable in its current state. From my experience I can go through an Air tech tree with playing 500 battles in a high rank premium with ease but in ground tech trees this is not the case for me. I think overall grinding air trees is way easier in the current state of the game and I think we should change that. My suggestion for it would be:
-Skill bonuses should apply to all earnings and not only time spent in battle( this change could be for only ground but I’d be happy if it would get introduced for air battles too)
-Higher RP rewards for actions in ground battles such as: Kills, Time spent in battle, Zone captures, Assists( An overall increase of around 50% for the RP earnings of such action in ground battles is a minimum that we need currently in my opinion)
I’m aware that a top tier bonus will roll out very soon that will increase the rewards, but this will not make a difference for newer players who are trying to get through their first or second tech tree.
RP costs for ground line tier 6-7 will be reduced just like in air, once we get tier 8 ground
Grinding the new batch of top tier vehicles will be still as hard as it is today Even if the vehicles before it get a reduced cost.
Rank 8 is the negative, reducing the effectiveness of rank 6 premiums and overall increasing RP requirements for researching new vehicles. Just like rank 8 for aviation and rank 6 for naval, it’s nothing but negative.
