Obj 120 could even be 8.3 and itd be fine, 8 0 atleast. It didnt actually go up in BR. It has a lower BR than the T95E1!
I literally remember in the devblog that they said it reload faster… and then in game it didnt.
Hello,
I would like to share my thoughts on a couple aircraft BRs (for realistic battles): The G.91Y/G.91YS.
I know there was some discussion about these aircraft before, and there was a note about giving the G.91Y some new weapons and reassessing. Not sure what the data looks like since then, but I would still advocate for these planes to be reduced a notch (G.91Y to 9.0, YS to 9.3). These aircraft seem overtiered based on flight characteristics and armament, in addition to a lack of countermeasures.
There are actually a couple good analogues to these aircraft already at these BRs: the Lim-5 at 9.0 and Shenyang F-5 at 9.3. Making a direct comparison between the G.91Y and Lim-5, both are aircraft with strong engine power and thrust/weight characteristics that are very strong dogfighters, with strong cannon armament, but no countermeasures. The G.91Y actually has more engine power and climbs better, while the Lim-5 has better low speed maneuverability and a basic radar set. As to the recent air to ground armament changes in the “La Royale” update, having two manually guided missiles is nice for combined battles, but there are already many planes at 9.0 and 8.7 with these weapons (Etendard, G.91Rs, Scimitar, A-4s, etc).
Anyway, thanks for reading my suggestion.
RoF buff is nice, but that’s not what they needed, they needed a turret traverse buff.
All realistic mode.
Softstat change suggestions:
Pz III Ausf. B-J turret speed to 14°/sec like the other Pz IIIs allready have, they are all hand traversed (so there arent any tests and its a soft stat by the human) they are all at low Br and even Reserve tanks. At the lower ranks mobility is key, pretty much every other tank has a much faster turret traverse as well as general mobility.
The Pz IIIs also have not much armor (14,5-30mm and the J 50mm) but are extremly limited by the turret traverse of 5.5°/sec (6.0°/sec for B) so they should be the same 14°/sec like the rest (which all have allmost the same traverse mechanism as well)
Br Changes:
Bf 110 C-6 3.0 → 2.3
Reason: The better C-7 is 2.7 which is better because: Armored glass, can carry bombs and has 2x 20mm Mg FF/M and faster while the C-6 cant have bombs has no 20mm and is fixed with the 30mm Mk 101. In comparison the Hs 129 B-2 which is at 2.7 has more armor, 2x 20mm Mg 151/20 and 2x Mg 17 (instead of 4x Mg 17) and a Mk 103 with 100 instead of 60 rounds and higher fire rate.
Do 217 J-2 2.3 → 2.0 it is simply a J-1 (2.0) with the only difference beeing having an useless radar and changing the camo from black to white with black spots.
Do 217 N-1 2.7 → 2.3 it is a Do 217 J with radar a little bit stronger (but also heavyer) engines (1430 hp to 1580 (150hp more)), changes the 20mm Mg FF/M to Mg 151/20 which are also heavyer (but fire the same rounds and) and has on paper a tiny little improvement in climp (5,9 to 6,8 (0,9 more) and such but because its also a good tat heavyer flyes even worse.
Same goes for N-2 2.7 → 2.3 its even worse as it changes the (useless anyway) small bombload and the 2x only def 13mm Mg 131 for 4x 20mm Mg 151/20 in Schrägemusik position which really is only dead weight and also changes once again the camo from Black to White with black spots.
And move the Do 217 N-1 and N-2 in front of Ju 88 C-6
Ju 87 D-5 3.3 → 2.3 It has worse bomb load than the D-3 (no 1000kg bomb, and less 500 kg loadouts (no 3x 500kg bomb loadout), when equipping with Mgs or more cannons it cant carry any bombs, while also the flightperformance doesnt change and the very aquivalent plane,
the Il 2 Mod. 1941 with 2x 20mm Shvak and 2x Shkas is at 2.3 (while also having a wider arrangement of explosives, such as Bombs and rockets) And even the mod 1942 sits at 3.0
The Me 410 B-6 R/3 5.0 → 4.0
Its no different from the other Me 410 (well its slower) but it cant take any bombs and a similar (perhaps even a bit better) plane the He 219 A-7 is at 4.3
A suggestion also (if moveing the Me 410 B-6 R/3 to 4.0) move it in front of Do 335 A-1 and the Do 335 A-0 after the A-1 to complet the Ground strike line and to fill the new middle gap take appart the 4 other Me 410s and put them one after the other.
The Bf 109 G-6 to 4.3, it is a little bit worse than the G-2/Trop in terms of Speed, turnspeed and Horsepower and has a smaller max height and feels more sluggish
Maus/E-100: reload time 23,6 sec → 20,5 sec (IS-6)
With the Maus still being 7.7, it could really need a slight buff in firepower since unlike other heavy tanks like the IS-3, IS-4, M103 or Conqueror it really is a “heavy” tank without any tactical mobility (similarly to the T95).
Jagdtiger: reload time 23,6 sec → 19,4 sec (T34, Sturer Emil)
The Jagdtiger has two dedicated loaders for its two-piece ammo, because of this the reload should be faster than the Maus/E-100 and significantly faster than IS-3 and IS-4 with their cramped turrets and only a single loader.
The Sturer Emil loads similar ammo into a nearly identical gun in 19,4 sec with just a single loader!
Tiger II 10,5cm: reload time 20 sec → 16,2 sec (T29)
Two loaders for 105mm two-piece ammunition, same as on the T29 yet slower while not really offering anything else.
Marder 1A1: add DM63
20mm HVAP is not even able to kill most light tanks from the front.
It already has the worst ground based ATGMs in the game and only four of them with relatively long reload and very limited launch angles.
It should at least have some firepower, the BMP-1 not only has far superiour missiles but also a gun capable of engaging every other tank frontally.
Marder 1A3: add MILAN 2
Same as above, MILAN is basically the worst ground based ATGM in game and it has quite a bit below average mobility as well.
The gun is also sub par so it should at least have the slightly improved missiles.
I think puting amx b2 brenus and b2 at 8.7 is horrible change, they don’t even have stab and there is nothing at 8.7 already, not a lot of people play those and now even less people will play them :c.
Thats not the point. The point is the DS is better than the TT equivalent. And now, the prem Stryker is exactly the same as the TT one. So why couldnt the stryker go up and be equal to the tt?
I have a idea. how about instead of moving the over compression to another BR and just making the problem even worse somewhere else you actually raise the maximum BR and work on removing the compression issue EVERYWHERE. crazy thought though to try and fix the entire issue I guess.
Obviously it was fine at 7.7, it never needed to be moved down to 7.3, same also goes for the 1949 T-54. Neither needed to go up to 8.0, now they get to fight stabilized tanks. Now Germany doesn’t have a very well balanced 7.7 lineup, which it now shares with 6.3/6.7 Germany. These BR changes just create more gaps in the tech tree that will never be filled.
They aren’t moving compression.
The data they get from this decompression will help further decompression down the line, which is good.
I told 8.0 to not vex Vatnik players ))))
When you see Swingfire, Striker, AFT9, IT-1 ATGM aren’t moving and with the last update, they’re those atgm carrier okay to play particularly the Striker…
Laugh in my Centurion mk2 being not impacted by the Battlerating, for a 1946 vehicule.
This would be a good change. Would be. It’s pretty great if you’re 6.7 or below honestly, but with the prior 9.7-10.3 BR changes, this basically just sets everything back to square one placing everything back in the storm that it was. The decompression we had no longer really will exist since gaijin refuses to just make a sweeping BR change and instead incrementally changes the BRs of things to decompress, and then recompressing it a few months later. Not to mention, how are things like the M60, Leo 1, and T-54 supposed to compete at 8.0, or in an up tier, at 9.0? Don’t even mention the French changes with their non-stabilized vehicles. This is kind of ridicoulous.
Id also like to say its a little agregious how the ROF increased for every T54 and T62 series respectively, when they ddint actually go up in BR just moved to decompress, in some of the least ergonomic tanks ever designed-- yet the ROF is still nerfed for far more ergonomic or speedily firing tanks such as the Centurion, M48/M60, T95E1, T26E1, M26E1, M103, etc. etc. Other tanks that have a historical reloads is my point, and still do despite decompression
Also, the TURM III sould be 8.7 not just 8.3.
T95E1 back to 8.0, its 10s reload and 300mm pen is not 8.3 worthy. T55AMs shouldve gone up .7 not .3
These are the WORST BR changes i have ever seen.
The Cheiftain MK3 already struggles at 8.3, And you want to move it up to 8.7?
AND you want to take away the Conqueror’s entire 7.7 lineup?
What about the Centurion MK10 makes it worthy of being 8.0?
Its slow, the Armor sucks, the Gun reloads very slow for a 105 at the BR.
Before changing vehicle BRs, remove possibility to find Up tier or Low tier games. Whenever I play Leopard 1 I play against 8.0, now I will play against 9.0. Thanks Gaijin.
As a naval main:
Finally Kent is going down to 5.7. Thank god. That was the single worst case of wrong BR in current naval.
Invincible and Colossus going down are good changes in my opinion, but Dreadnought going down is NOT. No fully armored battleship, however poor, deserves 6.0 right now. Even some 5.3 ships already have little chance against a battleship, let alone any 5.0 ships. Please don’t go forward with this particular change.
I dont see that as being the case. when you have an entire tree of over compression issues and then relieve the issue at one point you will coincidentally move the problem somewhere else. that is why I think it would be best to raise the BR ceiling so they can attempt to attack the issue at all BRs and then make smaller fixes to areas where issues pop up.
The 105 mm barely fits (if it fits at all) inside the turret of the Tiger II (H). Even if it fit inside an unmodified turret it would be extremely cramped and hard to reload.
The T29 is the exact opposite. The turret is huge specifically because the tank was meant to mount big cannons from the get go, unlike the Tiger II which started with an 88 mm and then went to a 105 mm.
Best part is the 105mm doesnt exist on the Tiger II, its a fake tank lmao
it has 3rd gen thermals at a relativly low br and is very small and fast and has laser rangefinder oh and it also has scouting
at 7.3 it will face more light vehicles and if it went to a lineup at 8.0 it will face the most light vehicles which it excels at killing
