Planned Battle Rating Changes (October 2026) — Aircraft and Ground Vehicle Decompression

You do realise the mirage IIIC and mirage 5 are only 10.0 because they have no countermeasures? If they had any they would be up at 10.3 with the 5BA immediately.

This vehicle delivers exceptional performance even in top-tier games, vastly outclassing other vehicles at the same Battle Rating.

Vehicle: BMPT & BMPT 72
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 12.0 > 13.7
Super OP machine. this one Crush game balance

Vehicle: Pantsir-SM-SV
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 13.3 > 14.3
The Pantsir-SM-SV possesses a massive advantage in multi-target engagement capability. On top of that, it can conduct effective attacks against ground targets. Other SPAAGs/SAMs at the same BR cannot attack ground targets and require controlling two additional sub-vehicles, making them much harder to operate—and giving the enemy triple the spawn points/score when destroyed. The Pantsir-SM-SV deserves a much higher BR and a significantly higher spawn cost than it currently has."

Vehicle: 2S38
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 10.7 > 11.7
original Super OP Machine, im always scary about 2s38 wave

Vehicle: SU30MKK & SU30MK2 AMV
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 13.7 > 14.0
These two aircraft clearly possess superior performance compared to the F-16CM and AM.

"P.S. Gaijin, your BR placements make zero sense. Soviet and Russian vehicles are completely superior to others at the same BR.

The plate you are looking at is actually the 146mm one mate.

Or just make its reload the same as other 105mm guns. It is literally the only 105 with the longer reload afaik and it’s quite noticeable in matches. The thing is in no way comparable to the amx-30s sitting at 8.7

Turan III - Ammunition change

Both the Panzer IV H and the Turan III sit at the same battlerating of 4.0, yet the Panzer IV H has all of its bells and whistles meanwhile the Turan III is missing those same german shells, namely the apcr and smoke.
Therefore i ask again for the Turan III to finally receive its historically correct ammunition’s!

On the point of balance:

  • Yes, the Turan III has better mobility due to its better transmission, but it is also less survivable, as the crew overlaps more compared to the Panzer IV H, which does result in AP shells dealing more damage with the higher chance of frequent critical results. This, together with less frontal armor, which does matter in case of AP even at 400 meters, makes the Turan III not a better tank than the Panzer IV concept, but more of a sidegrade, where it gains more mobility but also loses survivability.

  • Not to mention the Panzer IVs received a 5 sec reload in the last br change, further cementing in its superiority.

Therefore i struggle to find any reason to deny the Turan III its historical shells based on the reasoning of balance. The tank simply suffers from being used by more experienced players and not by new players of the German tech tree, which distorts the performance stats.

Both of these shells I’m talking about were reported and accepted years ago

Missing German APCR shell of the Turan III 1

Missing German smoke shell of the Turan III 1

PS.: The Zrínyi I has the same gun as the Turan III; therefore, if the Turan III finally receives its APCR and smoke the Zrínyi I should also receive them.
Missing German smoke shell of the Zrínyi I
Missing German APCR shell of the Zrínyi I tank

The Turan is way more than just a sidegrade. Mobility is more important than survivability, and the Pz.IV isn’t exactly strong in that area anyways.

@Stona_WT helicopter changes are on the air realistic tab, and not on the groud realistic tab. Is it normal, are we getting a helicopter air mode?

I liker 8.3 brit for a while now this is what i would face, im goind to just stop playing them
Vehicle: Olifant Mk.1A
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 8.3 → 8.7 (planned) — please keep it at 8.3

Reason:
I compared every ground vehicle’s current RB BR (game files, 2.59.0.86) with this table to see how the Olifant’s matchmaking actually changes.

Now (8.3) After (8.7)
Vehicles it can meet (±1.0) 297 298
Same BR 38 46
Full uptier (+1.0) 59 at 9.3 48 at 9.7
Full downtier (−1.0) 22 at 7.3 50 at 7.7

Most of the 8.0–9.3 block moves up with it, so its relative position barely changes. What does change:

  • 24 vehicles that stay at 9.7 now become its full uptier (Merkava Mk.1B and Mk.2B, ZTZ96A, BMD-4/4M/4M2, M3A3 Bradley, Type 16, Centauro I 105 R, Rapier…).
  • 30 unchanged 8.7 vehicles become same-BR opponents, such as Leopard A1A1, T-62, Chieftain Mk 3/5, AMX-30B2 and Strv 104.
  • It loses the 22 vehicles at 7.3 from the bottom of its range.

The Olifant still has Centurion Mk.3 armour and about 13.4 hp/t. With the 24 new 9.7 opponents on top and 30 more same-BR MBTs, 8.7 is a net uptier for a vehicle that already plays as a slow support sniper. It sits fine at 8.3 next to the other 8.3 MBTs.

it is considerably better against AP, especially the PZ.IV H , and it also has a 0.9 sec faster reload
mobility does not offset these advantages so much for it to be a reason for denying its shells on the grounds of balance.

Discrepancies arise because BR is determined by battle performance rather than vehicle performance.

The only experience ive had with the martels is dying to them unavoidably

Wow what a nuanced perspective, surely it couldnt apply to any other vehicle in the game

it’s gonna be so funny to have the F-15C GE at the same BR as the F-15EX

Why is the Tiger UHT’s BR going up just to be paired near helicopters with LDIRCM again??? Why is the Chinese WZ305 going up in BR while the Vautours aren’t??? Did Gaijin forget about squadron battles, or are the Vautours special??? When will the IRIS-T SLM stop being food for top-tier helicopters? These are my questions…

You do realize that this is precisely what no launch limits on a Fox-3 makes easier?
And C GE has 12 of them

Like someone else said, unless we get 15.3
15C GE what’s to be the same br as the other 15.0 aircraft

And with a smaller ammunition (therefore lighter weight)

[Ground RB] October BR changes threaten one of Germany’s few balanced high-tier lineups

The proposed October BR changes raise concerns about Germany’s Ground RB lineup at 10.0. The issue is not just the BR adjustments of individual vehicles, but their combined impact on an entire lineup in a range that currently appears relatively balanced.

1. Germany’s 9.0–10.0 win rate is already close to 50%

According to the attached win-rate heatmap, Germany’s 9.0–10.0 bracket is one of the areas where results are relatively close to 50%.

This suggests that the bracket is already functioning reasonably well in terms of overall battle outcomes.

Why risk disrupting one of Germany’s relatively balanced high-tier brackets?

2. Example: my current German 10.0 lineup

The proposed changes affect my lineup as follows:

Vehicle Current BR Proposed BR
Leopard 2K 10.0 10.3
Radkampfwagen 90 10.0 10.3
Leopard 1A5 9.3 9.3
Begleitpanzer 57 9.7 9.7
M48 Super 9.3 9.3
T-72M1 9.3 9.7
Wiesel 1A2 9.7 9.7
FlaRakPz 1 10.0 10.3
Gepard 1A2 9.7 10.0

Leopard 2K and Radkampfwagen 90 form the main combat core, while FlaRakPz 1 provides essential anti-aircraft coverage.

Moving all three to 10.3 effectively dismantles this lineup at 10.0. Keeping them requires moving the entire setup to 10.3, even though most supporting vehicles remain below that rating.

This affects the viability of a complete lineup, not just individual vehicles.

3. Selective BR changes make the new matchmaking range less favorable

Moving the lineup from 10.0 to 10.3 changes its possible matchmaking range from 9.0–11.0 to 9.3–11.3.

The problem is that the changes are selective.

At the lower end, only some vehicles are moving from 9.0 to 9.3. This means we retain access to only part of the weaker opposition we could previously encounter.

At the upper end, many powerful 11.0 vehicles remain within our matchmaking range, while 11.3 vehicles become possible opponents for the first time. Only some of those 11.3 vehicles are moving to 11.7, mainly Israeli ones. Those vehicles were already outside our previous matchmaking range, so their movement offers no real compensation.

In practice, we lose access to some easier opponents while gaining access to stronger ones, without a comparable shift across the entire bracket.

The exact matchmaking distribution may change after decompression, but this uneven adjustment raises concerns about the lineup’s future balance.

4. Request to Gaijin

Please reconsider moving Leopard 2K, Radkampfwagen 90 and FlaRakPz 1 simultaneously from 10.0 to 10.3.

The concern is not that Germany should receive preferential treatment, but that these changes remove a functional lineup from a BR range already showing results close to 50%.

Individual vehicle performance matters, but in Ground RB, the balance and availability of complete lineups should also be considered.

Before implementing these changes, please evaluate their combined impact on Germany’s 9.0–10.0 balance rather than assessing each vehicle in isolation.

Thats the most ***** Change i´ve ever seen for the swedes lmao, what u mean the AJ37 get´s moved to 10.7 and the AJS37 to 11.7? do we at least get flares with these now? or are we still getting shot down by anything past Aim-9B´s? Stock grinding will be absolutely impossible now, thanks

Please no, that would be unbalance af lmao, imagine getting a full uptier at 8.3/8.7 and getting spammed with hellfires for no reason

can i ask why the T-80BVM will go up to 13.3?
while there are more modern T-80s could be add later, i find that the BVM can be at 13.0 just fine
