Eh, I prefer focusing on the most important aspects first
I actively despise flying the euro in dogfights/jousts, I’d like that to not be the case
It’s no fun dying because your plane flies like a drunken grandma

Id consider that quite important for NE, a gamemode all about A2G/Multirole performance. I think its pretty clear that the instructor is just intentional at this point, given literally nothing else in-game has the same issues, even very similar aircraft like the Rafale
Oh, other aircraft have similar issues. Most planes that are really sensitive at low speeds are like this (F-18E I’ve noticed it on for example or other eurocanards). It’s just significantly worse on the eurofighter
Never had any of the same issues in the Gripen C, that is about as far as I can get on the list, and never had any issue (post- FM changes at least) on aircraft that should be even more unstable at alt, like the Tonkas.
I don’t find it that bad nowadays, it was worse before, but now it’s manageable (EF2000)
It gets me killed (Or nearly killed) when trying to compete with enemies that can launch significantly closer to the notch than I can.
It’s also just really aggravating to deal with
a4e all of them that are 9.3 should either stay 9.3 or go to 9.7 not 10.0
But in that scenario, aren’t you just manoeuvring with keyboard inputs while using free look? The instructor doesn’t act up as much.
The only thing I find annoying is that you sometimes waste some speed in fast turns due to the unstable instructor inducing rudder inputs
Vehicle: BMPT & BMPT-72
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 12.0 —> 12.3
Reason: There is room for it move up, so move it up more. There is no reason that anything at 11.0 should be able to see them.
That’s the scenario I mean.
I might just be overpulling but it’s a pain to manage either way
Its faf and mental power keeping it in check, that you dont need to do on a lot of other aircraft.
Especially in conditions where its not something you have to think about in anything else, like high speed and high alt.
And if nothing else, its just annoying.
Are you re-notching with around a 100º notch from the missiles?
The typhoon/gripenE gimbal is not enough to track and notch like the SM2
It’s mainly as I transition to going below 1000km/h IAS where I notice it most of all iirc
Trying to notch, or even just turn at 20k ft, with a full warload is just a pain because the back end cant make its mind up.
I think the rudder authority needs a notable increase ontop of a total instructor overhaul.
I try to stick to 90-95 degree notches
Since I’m in the German euro my gimbal limits aren’t so great
Gimbal is slightly lower than the british one, isn’t it?
yep, 10 less each side
180 FoR vs 200
Not a big deal because you would need 210-220º to be able to keep lock and notch at the same time, usually…
My issue is when leaving the notch to launch…
