Planned Battle Rating Changes (October 2026) — Aircraft and Ground Vehicle Decompression

Yes, yes it does

It literally beats them in a dogfight and any other scenario

hmm, let me see
TWS+, HMS, 85 degree gimbal

Surely the radar without these is better.

Let’s not forget IRST

They should ALSO go up
This is what people have been arguing ever since the premium flankers were added.
undertiered vehicle does not justify undertiering MORE vehicles.
Never has, never will.

My mistake

What you are asking for is textbook compression my guy

Keeping vehicles at a br where it’s facing vehicles that are significantly worse is the definition of compression.

^ This, this is the result of compression

The only aircraft out of the screenshots above that realistically stand a chance are the gripen Cs (not SA gripen) due to having the potential chance of making it to the merge semi-reliably with their airframe and defensive kit.
However for 16v16 the MiG-29 still has the superior offensive kit, which is probably the most important aspect of a top tier plane

The 13.3 flankers shouldn’t be 13.7 anyways, they should be 14.0 with the br changes as they are on par with the MiG-29K (you might have an argument for J-11A with the avionics but realistically no)

I think you are mixing stuff up. By 1991 TOGs was already in production for quite a long time. Only prototypes and the Mk.1 lacked it. And there were no Mk.1s in Service anymore in OP Granby

Then don’t complain when you’re told to spawn CAP and can’t find anything to shoot down.

Wish they had included that in the premium m60 and bumped it’s BR up. Would have been a fun spin.

RISE with M833 would be unique but a bit over BR’d

I mean…probably? M900a1 with a hard limit on the number of rounds you could take of it could’ve been cool. Yeah it’d be an m60 at 9.7 or 10.0. But with the upcoming decomp that becomes less of an issue.

Would’ve been a SLOOOOOW glass cannon, but man that thing would’ve punched through stuff.

As I said in the first post, the radar of MiG-29KR which is the same in the SMT and M are glitchy, it tracks ghost targets and loses data link several times while in the F-16’s radar you do not have that issue, maybe it lacks HMS but you are comparing it as it was the AESA radar from the F-2A ADTW and say that the radar of Su-27SM is better cause it has the HMS feature and completely ignore the faulties of the radar.

the only worse planes at 13.7 the MiG-29KR would be facing are the SMT and maybe the Kfir C.10, not a big deal when the MiG-29KR engines overheats if you do not want to waste time using the throttle manually and when its radar is glitchy.

The point is. He is trying to make it out like the E-Scan typhoons should never have been added, and that the M-Scan Typhoons would still be one of the strongest in-game even now and that several nations havent even caught up with teh M-Scan Typhoons yet. Which is of course, nonsense. Take away the E-Scans and the Typhoons could be some of the weakest top tier jets in the game right now.

Hah, yeah that is absolutely not the case

Literally every future 13.7 is worse.

No?
I’ve had significantly more success with the MiG-29K’s radar than the F-16s.
Especially considering the F-16 doesn’t have IRST to fall back on when a target notches.

Su-27SM does have the overall better radar though?
lack of HMS will get the F-2A killed

You wanna try 1v1’ing the MiG-29K with any 13.3 F-16?
I will enjoy this

No

I have the opposite experience

Lol you didn’t understand the goofy explanation you give in your post with pictures of the MiG-29KR.

It was only an example with lil bit of sarcasm in it

lets do it, I’m gonna take dinner and we fight, add me in the game I’ll come back in an hour

The release of the AESA EFT was actually pretty good timing wise (that is when the Rafale F3 in it’s current form should have released).

The fact that nations like Israel, Japan, US and China didn’t get an appropriate counterpart at the same time doesn’t mean the AESA EFTs were released too early.

AESA EF was so needed to counterbalance the Su-30SM + Rafale dominance
People also are probably forgetting that the AESA EFT update also gave the euro its double AMRAAM racks

Realistic game where only couple planes fly without afterburner on most of the time and only use it in some emergency cases like irl. Just need to hide or not look at all other aircraft with essentially infinite WEP.

Also maybe I’m just looking at this the wrong way sinc e I don’t play that much ARB, but having somewhat close to a 4 way tie between 4 airframes (SM2, Rafale, AESAphoon, J-16) that are in 7/10 trees seems pretty decent in terms of balance.

Fix up the Gripen E (and maybe give it 120Ds?), add the F-15EX, add a Rafale to the Japanese tree and boom you’d sit at 10/10 trees having a solid top tier option.

Yep, for the most part. Though I dont think the F-15C GE is as far behind as the US mains claim it is. Sure F-15EX might still be a good idea. But they arent DOA without it either. Its a weaker 15.0, but still definetly a 15.0

EX is pretty on par with AESA euro right now due to missile count and lack of launch limits on its missiles
J-16 sidegrade?
better missile + defensive kit while having worse fm basically

Still stupid Gaijin have artificially nerfed the A/B/C5s like that

Euro instructor fix and missile launch limit restrictions removed is all the euro really needs imo

Still needs some NE A2G buffs too. Even just some GNSS-Only Spear-3s
