Planned Battle Rating Changes (October 2026) — Aircraft and Ground Vehicle Decompression

Not all AESA aircraft are born equal

Considering Majority still doesn’t know how to notch and rely on multipathing, i would say it is an advantage. Also, don’t forget that better kinematics coupled with vastly better supersonic speed of an Viper directly translates into better time to impact. giving less time to position (and also beating your teammates’ missiles to reach the target first)

If all the playerbase were equally skilled, KR would be much better than most aircraft at its br as fights would devolve into CQB phonebooth fights. Unfortunately most of the time it doesn’t.

And?

Still weaker than the Su-30SM2 and even the Rafale in most fights.

But the problem is the Typhoon and never them

The problem is all of them, but then we buff the Eurofighter with a new radar without even letting other nations catch up to the base Eurofighter.

I don’t go around assuming my enemies are incompetent. That will get me killed.
I will take the best option available for enemies that do know how to play

Good on you.

I don’t intent to follow up and devolve the conversation into argument about who plays the right way. Keep doing what you think best. Good night.

cassegrain antenna at aesa br?

and what do you want to fight a M-Scan Typhoon that still doesnt even have a usable M-Scan radar?

F-22s and Su-57s?

Quite Frankly. E-Scan Typhoon allowed the Typhoon to catch up to the Rafale, Su-30SM and F-15C GE. let alone the Su-30SM2 added in the same update.

If the M-scan Typhoon was “fine”. Then so was the F-15E for the US. So was the Su-27SM for the soviets. So was the Gripen C for Sweden, etc etc

Looks at Typhoon at 14.7

That’s the thing, they already have

Base euro is not that good man.
The radar is incredibly mediocre, especially since its peers all have ESA

This was before we had SM2, C GE etc.
It was already meh then, still is meh now

Its such a shame it cant go lower, because it owuld be interesting to dust off, especially in NE for a lower BR.

Really hoping that when Gen 5s and next gen missiles are added (which I hope it doesnt get it), everything above it goes up a LOT, and it cant see top tier anymore. Then with actual radar fixes and other things like sensor fusion, it could be interesting to play.

Right now, its just DOA (unless you get lucky and get a full downtier vs the SU-30 premium spam, then its funny to get revenge)

but you didn’t answer my question:

With the MiG-29KR, you have to be very fussy and meticulous with the throttle, and on top of that, you’re dealing with a faulty or glitchy radar that it is not good to be against constant full top tiers (14.7 - 15.0) with AESA/PESA radars.

what about Su-27SM radar?

I literally told you.

It’s far stronger than the competition it would have at the same br if it stayed at 13.7

MiG-29N, Kfir C.10, F-16MLU, F-16AFD, JF-17, MiG-29SMT etc

There is 0 reason for it to stay at 13.7 with the br changes besides you not wanting to “fiddle” with the throttle
Which, I rarely do in my games so all you’re doing here is coping imo

A far, far better solution, would be to get all the other stuff that’s at (and going to) 14.0 that shouldn’t be 14.0 (Mirage, Su-27SM, J-11B, hornets) moved up
Same goes for the premium flankers

What you are asking for is compression, which is not what these br changes are for

An absolute whole lot of wrong to unpack here:

L26A1 was limited in a sense yes, but nearly all Challengers sent to the Gul had some in store ready for Iraqi T-72. So yes, that was widespread use.

In regards to your thermals information, I have 0 tangible idea where you pulled that information from except your arse and it shows, Challengers in 1991 and 2003 that were sent to Iraq had thermal sights. However the interesting tidbit is that ot was mox of Mk.3 and some Mk.2’s.

And what are you on about with “US 105 DU APFSDS rounds were on par with 76mm HVAP” they really weren’t and I really don’t get what you are on about. When the US rolled into Iraq in 1991, US Army and USMC crews were sent with M883 and M900A1 as their main AP rounds, so to back this up here is an extract from the book M60 vs T-62: Cold War Combatants 1956–92. It pictures US tank crew during gunnery training in OP: Desert Shield with M900A1 rounds, if these rounds weren’t in widespread us why would they use them for training?

NGL mate, nah, the Mscan typhoon dogged on the gripen C; Su27SM and F15E lol only thing that it didn’t just dog walk at release was the rafale.

MiG-29KR does not have a stronger airframe than the F-16D/F-16A ADF, MiG-29KR is not even better than F-16’s radar.

J-11A and SU-30MKK/MK2 are far stronger than MiG-29 in almost every aspect

MiG-29SMT at least we do not have to be picky with the throttle and has better maximum speed

JF-17 is 13.3 and it is not listed to be moved to 13.7

Compression? if I was asking from compression I’d be asking to lower its BR to 13.3, all that I’m asking is to not move it from 13.7

Vehicle: R2Y2 (all of them)
Mode: ARB
BR: 8.0 → 7.7
Reason: They will all lose a 1v1 to a Su-11 or a Sea metor or half of all 7.3s in the game. Please at least move them down to 7.7

Vehicle: T-69 II G
Gamemode: Ground Realistic Battles
BR Change: None (Should not be moved to 9.3 and stay at 9.0)
Reason: With the many vehicles at 8.0 to 10.0 that have shells and missiles that can penetrate the ERA and the many armor holes on the vehicle (200-240mm of cast homogenous armor on the front of the gun mantlet), the T-69 II G should stay at its current BR (9.0) because it will be outperformed by the 10.3 vehicles and the CAS options that will easily knock it out.

The ERA on the tank only has 5mm of kinetic protection with 370mm of chemical protection. Sure the sound of 370mm protection sounds good for chemical rounds, but majority of the tanks that will be at the BR 8.0-10.0 have APFSDS or APDS that can break through the armor of what essentially is a T-54/T-55 with some extra ERA armor that protects mostly against ERA.

It does not have thermals at 9.0 and pushing it to 9.3 will give it a great disadvantage against other 9.7-10.3 tanks when it doesn’t have good mobility and thermals to help with its survivability. Many of the current 8.3-8.7 tanks that are moving to 8.7-9.0 also have a similar performing APFSDS shell with a laser range finder (LRF) and thermals (some even Gen 2 and 3 thermals).
Here’s a list of vehicles with thermals in the BR range currently that are not receiving changes, I will also note if they have a laser range finder too:
Olifant Mk. 1A (8.3 → 8.7) APFSDS + LRF + Gen 1 Thermals + 2 axis stabilizer
SK-105A2 (8.7 → 9.0) APFSDS + LRF + Gen 3 Thermals + 4 second autoloader
PTL02 (9.0 → 9.3) APFSDS + LRF + Gen 2 Thermals + 2 axis stabilizer + Mobility
WMA301 (9.0 - 9.3) APFSDS + LRF + Gen 2 Thermals + 2 axis stabilizer + GP105 Tandem Missile (750mm penetration) + Mobility

Other tanks of note that will have no problems destroying the T-69 II G at current and future BR change of 9.7-10.3:
All T-72B variants with 3BM42
BMP-2M
CV 90105
Leopard 2K
AMX-40
FV4030/3
TTD
Merkava Mk. 2D
Merkava Mk. 1B
Merkava Mk. 2B
Centauro | 105 R
120S
Sabra Mk I

Note: The Leopard A1A1 has better mobility but objectively worst armor, yet it sits at 8.7 because most players do not use it correctly. This can be argued for any tank, but the Leopard A1A1 itself has no LRF nor DM33, but I would still argue that it would perform better than a T-69 II G because of its mobility and better turret traverse so it would have better responsiveness.
