This is with the current compressed BRs though. Ideally I would have a slightly bigger spread in BRs, but we all know Gaijin doesn’t like too much decompression.
I’m really just saying how it will impact MiG-23 users, since that’s what I can provide the most meaningful experience for. All the 11.7 bracket aircraft will have a harder time - they should decompress more upwards rather than move the compression into a lower bracket.
but just as F-15A moving down to 12.7 will impact MiG-23 users, so will MiG-23 moving down to lower BR impact planes below it.
The F-15A shouldnt be going to 12.7 anyway, so id suggest to oppose this change together with everyone instead and support the comments that were already made on this topic. Every “vote” counts!
Still the same BR than Guepard who perfom better in all aspects :
as Anti-air, better radar, dommages, better at range.
35mm APHE is superior to the 30mm one in ground to ground (pen + better to kill russian tanks in cupola).
Guepard have stabilisation (30DCA not).
So move Falcon → 7.7, AMX30DCA → 8.0, guepard still to → 8.3.
or move them all 0.3br if that’s too broken.
Gaijin does that a lot, nerfs tanks based on the playerbase (which most often are crying level 20 premium players who know nothing about this game). They also buff/nerf tanks based on k/D’s, which is not even close to an ideal way to balance stuff. Prime example is the mbt2000: it was arguably a worse ztz99-II/III since it was less consistent to play (sometimes it could tank shells, other times not, sometimes you’d be faster than enemies, sometimes not), but because people who wanted to play china usually has good k/D’s, they nerfed to 11.3 and later to, 11.7.
this guy acting like the yenisei is op and deserves the same BR as the gepard despite being worse in every single aspect, also movign all T-34s because… they are too op???
over the last two days ive decided to properly play USSR, their armour is incredibly good for a medium even by 5.7 and im nailing 60+% winrates
their “weakspots” on the small turret T34s are too small to be fair for 3.0 tanks to do much against, mobile as all hell and the angle pen on russian APHE is absurdist
moving 35mm spaas up wont fix anything, youre taking their purpose away-aka being an anti air, at that point they have to fight planes that have better weaponry that can render the range useless+what would the point of having that when you have better alternatives at that exact BR, i.e the us would have an overclutter of 9.0 AAs, for germany you’d have a straight up better gepard with missiles at less than a bracket away, for south africa the uk it would be silly to have a very similar vehicle (offensively) twice at the same br, japan would be silly because at .3 higher br you’d get a vehicle that can kill planes way more easily, still not fixing the point of the oerlikons, which is how easy they can kill tanks no matter the BR, even top tier tanks can be easaily melted by them, so no matter how high you move them it wont change their ability to kill tanks, it would only affect their chance to kill planes-hell you would even be making the anti tank spaa situaion worse by forcing them to fight tanks instead of planes, and many of these nations dont really have a 9.0 lineup so you’d have to take them to places like 9.3 where the effect would be even worse since they are now forced to fight things such as A7s, some phantoms, IIRC some soviet planes with KH-29Ts, jaguars, Q5s, super etenards, AJ37s adn the evil israeli super skyhawk. all these planes can easily outrange the average effective 35mm firing range… once again forcing them to target ground targest mostly, probably even worsening the current situation
Oh I love the British, they’re very OP tanks, clearly they all need nerfs, and to also go up in br.
Don’t even need to aim. I just sip my tea and the tank auto kills, with their heat seeking ATGM-BC-DS
T-34s are vey easy to kill actually, all variants especially the early turret one, you can even kill them frontally with most medium caliber autocannons (bofors, flak 36) and pretty much every cannon can go thru the cheeks, dont get me started on german guns which cut thru the ufp like nothing, unless you hit the mg or driver port (which also screws up shots on almost every tank thanks to volumetrics), and for the late T-34s (85/STP/100) you most likely have enough experience on how to kill them and count with guns good enough to lolpen in most places
