I start ahead of that object, and press W. I do not touch anything else. The conditions are pretty much identical for every single test I do, however, with WT’s driver, the gear changes have a small amount of RNG in them, so it is not uncommon for there to be a + - 0.1-0.2 difference.
It’s pretty much a combination of mobility and firepower. It’s pretty close to the Type 90 in terms of capability. Having a 1 second slower reload for a better round, better gun handling, more flexible gun depression and better protection.
I mean an M1E1 with M829 could technically be added at 11.0 as long as it gets a 6 second reload.
Hell people talk about the 2A4 getting DM33 and moving to 11.0, an M1E1 with M829 and a 6 second reload would be the perfect counterpart for that.
You can, if you want. Since clearly everything on the sheet is wrong, according to you.
UD will not change as I hit that object, and it changed the time.
“pretty much” identical is not identical.
going by the fact my T80UD is nearly a whole 2 seconds faster to the speed then obviously it will change.
No one said it’s all wrong, but the reliability of it, through even your own admissions of errors and such is absolutely thrown out the window.
You know what, my mistake, it is IDENTICAL.
Your UD is aced. There is a note on the sheet next to the M1A1 saying (Aced, retest with Expert). It affects the time, and so I have to find someone with an experted M1A1, as mine is aced and I don’t want to waste SL crewing and experting it.
Vehicle: Leopard A1A1
Mode:Ground RB
BR Change: 9.0 → 8.7 (or maybe add DM33)
Reason: currently compared to similar tanks which sit only 0.3 higher its worse in quite a few important things, example only 0.3 higher (at 9.3) you get an better Ammo(DM33), an Laser Rangfinder and Thermal
I’m not sure a 6s reload makes sense. At the very least, it doesn’t sit right with me since the L11/30 has a 5s reload on an 85" turret ring, same as Abrams. I don’t see why the E1 would get any less reload, as iirc the loader’s area doesn’t get smaller. btw can you get a top-down screenshot of M1/IPM1? can’t play wt rn.
Only if we see 2A0-3, then I would be happy to even see the 2A4 getting DM43 or maybe the Leopard 2A5 without MEXAS (externally looks like 2A4 but has better inserts.) getting DM43 and the 2A4 getting 33
if it gets a 5 second reload it would be 11.3, which would still be okay.
However since Gaijin uses manual reloads as a balancing factor they can do whatever they want, if they want it at a specific BR.
@An_Pigeon You know what, i’m going to go and retest every single vehicle on cargo port’s highway. Happy?
and an M1A1 block zero with M829 would be 11.7 i assume
As always, 50% W’s and 50% L’s.
As much as people hate the 2s38, it was balanced at 10.3 because it’s a br where everyone is just as fast if not faster than it, meaning it’s hard to flank with it. It is good if you’re good, but people think it’s brainless.
No idea why they’re putting the t72b3 down in br since it was a really solid 11.7 tank, might be broken after the br changes ngl.
The chieftain mk.10 being put to 9.3 is questionable but possibly fair since it’s a hull-down beast; however, there’s no reason for the chieftain 900 to be 9.3 since it’s paper and not very fast compared to like a leopard 1a5 and objectively worse than it.
The f15a/j didn’t feel like it belonged in 13.0 since everyone has more range in bvr and there were planes better than it in dogfights, so it doesn’t really fit in, but the fact that in 12.7 it can meet a mig23ml is insanity and not very fair.
Removing the apds belts from the falcon and amx30dca is understandable because how overpowered and hated they are but if you do remove the belts, there is no point in playing those tanks anymore. The amx30dca is just a worse gepard and the falcon is awful as an AA for 8.3.
And why the hell are the 14.0 f/a-18’s being grouped with the 12.3 ones??
And why are the antelope and Israeli imp. Chaparral being moved down? The antelope can face planes with no flares in a downtier while it has 30g irccm missiles and so does the imp. Chapparal with 16.5 g irccm missiles. Every plane/heli they face is basically just a free kill for them, even if they don’t have radars.
Unrelated, but how about gaijin actually fixes so many other inaccuracies/problems in wt?
Radar (not missile) datalink is not modelled correctly, you are supposed to be able to fire multiple sarh guided missiles at multiple targets, but in game, to fire a fox 1 you need a radar lock even if your radar does have Datalink.
IR-guided agm’s/atgm’s are missmodelled since they completely ignore flares/irccm (excluding ldircm on z10me, mi28nm and ah64e), which makes playing helicopters a nightmare. Also, IR guided missiles tend to guide themselves to any part of a tank (even the tracks and the corner of a tank) which is a problem with missiles that have low HE, aka spikes, trigat, pars LR, etc.
era is modelled horribly which nerfs some tanks and makes others not very good, aka oplot since it relies heavily on era IRL but in game it provides virtually no protection (single era block has 140 mm of kinetic and 210mm of chemical protection but three layers of it ingame has 200mm and 600mm respectively, the math doesn’t add up, and yes, the protection values should stack up directly as they do IRL).
Helicopter/CAS and AA dynamic has to be fixed since CAS is blatantly overpowered up to like 8.0 and mostly awful (with exceptions) above 8.0.
Also, why are helicopters with spikes at 13.0? Spikes are borderline useless and the same helis do not have ldircm, meaning they’re practically useless in general.
A lot of munitions are missmodelled: kh25ml’s are supposed to be tandem-heat because they were made against bunkers, agm65’s are missing HE filler, some shells like russian 100mm apfsds are missing penetration, etc.
AA radars sometimes are able to track through foliage like trees, which is not realistic, radars don’t magically track through everything that isn’t the ground.
Also, something has to be done with AA spam since if you’re not playing broken CAS, sometimes there is literally nothing you can do against 5 aa’s at once. They probably should increase aa spawn cost so people don’t spawn it in as a last ditch effort cause they had like 80sp.
As well, the mechanic where you are given free tanks to spawn has to be fixed since no one is playing stock tanks with heat and it only promotes aa spam, meaning that once the first team spawns in a cas plane, if the enemy teams decides to AA spam, the enemy team is doomed to lose since they’ll have much less tanks and the aa’s will be free sp for the first team. And this indirectly makes CAS OP whilst directly CAS is for the most part not very good at this point in time.
One last point: APS systems should be considered as slight upgrades, NOT major ones, because why is the techtree t72b3 at 11.3 (post br changes) but the one with APS is 12.3, even though the APS is only useful once every few matches. Same thing with other tanks like merkava.
Why remove the APDS band from the AMX 30 DCA?
This will further contribute to the gap in French anti-aircraft capabilities between the AMX 10P and the val santal (roland without target tracking radar + lower elevation angles than those of other nations).
It was the only one with an APDS band and a 30mm cannon.
Vehicle: BO 105 PAH-1
Mode: Ground RB
change: 9.3 → 9.0
Reason:
While it is a Copy of the PAH-1A1, the PAH-1 gets only the HOT-1 which have 200mm less pen
making space for 14D I bet
If the F-15s are moving down to 12.7, the MiG-23s at 11.7 should be compensated or moved down as well.
The MiG-23s have very few advantages if any in a fight against F-15s other than luck and surprise, given that the MiG’s only strengths (almost entirely on its straight line speed and thrust-to-weight / energy retention in the vertical) are nullified by the F-15’s ability to the same. The MiG-23 also cannot pull AOA, only has 2 R-24Rs, and won’t be fast enough to be able to retreat, given its structural limits.
-
The ML only has a 4 quadrant RWR and a maximum of 2 R-24Rs - the Eagle can more accurately notch and fire off multiple sparrows that the MiG will struggle to counter.
-
The stock grind for the MLD starts with 2 R-13s. It is borderline unplayable as it is without buying the R-60M modifications early - they already face Mirage 2000s, early F-16s/Netz and F-18 premiums in uptiers, that make up the bulk of their opposition teams.
-
the MiG’s MTI is limited to below the horizon pitch angle below a height restriction.
-
A vast quantity of their uptier teams in both variants are full MiG-23ML or premium teams which get steamrolled instantly and force you into a 1v5 by the time you get back to the airfield to rearm.
-
It is harder to terrain mask against aircraft which are significantly better than you at filtering out ground clutter, so surprise ambush tactics are even less effective.
-
R-60Ms being their only short range armament speaks for itself.
It’s straight up not a fair fight. They have it even worse than the MiG-29s. Doing well in the MiG-23 already requires skill - it’ll be reduced to hoping you won’t have F-15s in your uptiers now.
how good of an idea is moving F-15A down aside (its terrible idea), you are in fact comparing 11.7 aircraft to would be 12.7 and saying “look, 11.7 is bad”. Why not compare it to other 11.7 aircraft?
My point is that you can research a 14.0 plane before a 12.7 one in the same line, which is quite idiotic imo.
i think it’s fine, maybe they’ll add the A+ to add a bit of padding
So, can 10.3 aircraft that would be just as DOA vs the Mig-23 get to move down to 10.0?
