Hello everybody, today I would like to table the idea of moving the Abrams to the second line after the M60s. I have several justifications
No.1:
There's more opportunity in line 3 if the Abrams is in line 2 for prototypes like the Abrams X, M1E3, CATTB, TTB, or thumper (if they aren't event/premium/squad).
No.2:
There's a similar situation earlier on in the tree where the M26 is added, and the M26 comes after the M4. It's a similar jump to where you go from M60 to M1. There's even a 120S equivalent in the M4/T26. furthermore prototypes based on the M26 are in line 3, which goes back to point No. 1 of having stuff like the thumper in line 3
No.3:
Germany has the MBT-70 in their "weird and whacky" line, but not its next-generation MBT (Leopard II). So, why should the US have their Abrams in their "weird and whacky line" instead of their "we made millions" line
No.4:
There's no potential if they keep the current arrangement, they've already had to put an Abrams in the M60 line because... what else can they add? The SLEP? the AX? Then what? There's nothing they have that could go there without a sub tree... other than an Abrams, so, so why not put the Abrams in that line?
