Those are known for being the slowest tanks in the entire bracket. Not a high bar. Sub 22 hp/t is simply not it compared to 27+ hp/t NATO 10.7s, with 8-12 km/h higher top speed.

T-80B has better optics, as it has thermals, allowing you to see through ESS and spot targets faster.

Again they accelerate just fine for what they are, T80UD sporting a 125MM cannon which loads in under 6.5 seconds with one of the best 10.7 rounds.
It’s mobility is not bad, like I said, I am comparing it to the other russian MBTs at the same BR. in which it blows them out the water.

on downtiers im speaking from position of playing UD for the last month and seeing them a lot.
welp, might be an issue with M1A1 then, if M829A1 can lolpen UD, that skews the time to kill back to Abrams heavily.

T-80UD/BE has same stats, except of engine but 2nd gen thermals on 10.7. I agree that against 9.3 this tank is very powerful. But I dont see it on 10.7 without at least one of 2 features - thermals or higher reverse. T-80B on 10.7 has thermals and -11 reverse. T-80U has same features and better armor and shell. T-80UM2 has Active Defense Complex but no thermals. T-80UD has only good armor and shell, essentially brute force, but on high tier battles versatility matters more. But after some decompression it will be ok to see it on 10.7.

And another question: how’s the new F-18E doing? It’s probably a very powerful plane, a real terror in the game. Everyone’s so afraid of it that it’s practically invisible in battle because no one plays it.
Why does it need a combat rating boost?
And the B-66? How many more years of “thinking” do you have to do to figure out that a plane with the IL-28’s stats can’t have a rating even one notch higher? Is that so difficult?

The Leopard 2a4 and M1 as I told you earlier are two of the most mobile tanks in the whole ass game, OFC russian tanks aren’t going to be keeping up with them mobility wise, I am not by any means arguing that at all.
The T80UD for a russian tank has good mobility compared to it’s peers. also that 17.24 is bollocks cause I’ve timed it to 60 on flat tarmac and it was about 15.22 or such with an ace crew.
That is my gripe with the Chieftain Mk.10/900 going up, from my experience 9.3 is a lot of unpleasant up-tiers to 10.3. By moving a couple of suspect vehicles up, it would make 9.3-9.7 a little more fun imo.
(Upgunned early MBTs like the 120S/Sabra, LTs with rail guns like the M1128, “Nerfed” High tier MBTs like the UD & FV4030/3 etc)
I do understand that just moves the compression elsewhere, so it would be best done as part of a larger decompression
To be fair, just so that i am not constantly saying T-80UD is godlike, it does have its issues. At 10.3 it was good, really good even, but it did have its issues.
And maybe more importantly, its reload time had parity with Leopard 2A4 (fully trained loader + expert crew), meaning you could get a second chance with Leo2 if both of you missed, depending on whoever fired first.
now that it has 6 sec reload, that parity is gone, and it really should be 10.7.
Pretty much. If you make a mistake against UD, chances are you will go clean through the UFP anyway. Still, should be 10.7.

I have it, it didn’t really have issues bar the reverse the lack of thermals is largely mitigated by hwo good the optics are,
look, prereload buff, id say deciding whenever T-80UD should be 10.3 and 10.7 was like debate between whenever M1 or Leo 2A4 is the best 10.7 MBT. It came down to the nitty gritty details that cant really be objectively measured.
but ever since the reload buff, which is not going away, theres really no doubt about it being 10.7 material.
sounds like we need an Abrams rebalance and maybe M1E1 (Late/IP turret) or M1A1 Block zero (basically the exact same thing but without XM827) with only M829, otherwise we’re gonna have an MBT gap again
I do need to finally make that 11.7 lineup lol.
