Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

I mean i say yes but that’s my opinion, just aim for the weakspot

Look i know this might be a bit too much but i wanna hear your thoughts.

T-44 FM

6.3 > 6.0

reason : bad turret armor, only front plate armor is good but the turret ring and the furret itself is a huge weak spot.

Its mediocre in current game realities. Could be toxic - yes but in rare situations. Maybe it was really good many years ago, but now there is a lot of light tanks much better in all parameters except penetration. Even SPAAs today perform better. Apart from good armor penetration, this tank has nothing, let’s be honest. I`m not talking about shell in auto-loader just in turret, making this umnanned turret useless and extremely vulnerable.

What is my guy even yapping about right now? 😭

Noone is saying its OP or good because it’s too survivable. That used to be the case but nowadays its rather easy to take out as one should be able to. You are just arguing around this point for the sake of arguing.

What makes the 2S38 good and one of the better vehicles at its BR and above is because it’s one / if not the best multi role vehicles in-game. 148 ready rack ammo with good pen APFSDS and high velocity HEVT with high res thermals and IRST. The vehicles most similar to it are the HSTV-L, RDF/LT and Otomatic. All of which have way less ammo/ready rack ammo and only expand a little bit on armor and mobility. And they are from +1.0 to +1.7 BR higher BRed.

I think the 2S38 is fine now at 10.7 BUT there are points to be made why the others are soo much higher without any major differences that justify the BR gap.

Don’t even reply to such a silly post. He thinks the Maus should see the likes of Object 279 in an uptier. What a joke. I have to babysit Maus all day long with Germany 7.0. Most the time you don’t need HEAT-FS to take them out, they just get themselves bombed (unless I shoot down the CAS in Flakpanzer).

Why too much? Its just a fat T-38-85 at a higher level. Just slightly better mobility, but armor is weak. Huge drivers hatch and weak turrets armor as you said. And tbh, opponents just ignore front plate and aim at the drivers hatch. T-34-85 STP on 6.3 with stabilizer feels better than T-44 FM.

They’re already food for Ayit with its AIM-9D. Just need more people playing Ayit.

That’s not how you fix a vehicle being too strong
everything else flareless is food for Ayit anyway

“lets fix Turm III being too strong by filling the place with XM246’s and ITPSV 90’s”

Literally fighting fire with fire

Worked for Hunter F.6 when it got its SRAAM buff, so idk. I like fire.

I honestly need to ask how you justify the Netz being 12.7 with no radar missiles or IRCCM.

Gajin for some reason think Python 3 is better the AIM-9M

Its wild honestly, like im playing the TT Netz rn and its just torture. i feel like a defenseless kid in Gaza with how i just cant defend my self when my max engagement is sub 4km. But dont worry i have 40g missiles that pull its 40gs straight to the first flare they see

when compared to the 12.3 F16A it makes sense, since the Pythons 3 are quite a bit better than the aim9L.

Though with the F15As moving down to 12.7 this makes zero sense now… they could just… you know… decompress high-top tier as a whole to achieve some sort of felt technological advancement instead of lumping everything together.

I’d propose moving all or at least some of them FnF helis a bit down, as it’s being paired with helis that outrange them and overpower them with either their missile range or defense, being the Mi-28NM impossible to kill unless you have a radar missile due to the forcefield-like LDIRCM. And well, other helis are either very agile or too far away. Whilst these ‘old’ helis have a maximum range of 8km and its missiles are either slow (Spikes) or haven’t got enough explosive charge to reliably kill a tank.

I mean the F-15 change is good as they are quite awful at 13.0 (mainly because what they put at 13.3 and 14.0) but i just cant comprehend how you go up one BR slot and you have the F2A (ADTW) with 4 fox ones and 4 better 9ms

I haven’t made any personal remarks. Let’s keep the discussion respectful.

RDF/LT has 668 hp for 13.3 tons, while 2S38 has 500 hp for 21.5 tons - that’s not just a slight difference in mobility.
I’m not talking about armor here; all light tanks lack armor. I’m talking about survivability.
The 2S38 has very poor survivability for reasons I’ve already explained multiple times, so I won’t repeat them.
High penetration alone isn’t an advantage if the vehicle’s lack of survivability prevents it from being used effectively.
Additionally, 57 mm APFSDS has limited post-penetration damage, especially against Western MBTs with spacious internal layouts. Even with good penetration, it often fails to deliver decisive damage.

2S38 is already far from the best at its current BR, yet all discussions suggest raising its BR further.

In my view, pushing a struggling vehicle higher would only make it less playable. A healthier approach is to adjust vehicles that are genuinely underperforming, rather than penalizing those already at the edge of viability.

You hit the nail on the head. There wouldn’t be a need to move them down to a BR where they don’t belong if the planes 0.3 above them weren’t this much better
