I am saying that the 5.3 ebr should go down but despite that I have 3 nukes with it.
that’s really not going to change all that much though, most of your kills will be coming from fox3s.
This only really makes you susceptible to ESS, which no one in random battles is actually competent enough to abuse.
It has the single strongest armour out of any vehicle in its BR range and can shrug off 90% of hits at range.
It’s not that mobile yes, but that’s just a side effect of it essentially having a T-72 powerpack. The T-90A has very poor mobility at 11.0 and does fine.
It’s a T-80U with worse mobility and no thermals, it will do just fine.
And how do you think 9.3 tanks with early darts feel when they face an 11.7 tank that’s at 10.3 because it’s slow(er)?
Some of these changes are nice, if not a bit tamed (like the 2S38 could go higher, I will argue that it is better than HSTV-L as a multi-purpose support vehicle even if the penetration of APFSDS is not as strong). But please revisit Helicopter PVE BR brackets as well, this is a one well overdue change that must be performed. 9.3 helicopters will dominate over earlier ones, while many 9.7 - 10.3 helis will struggle to compete with everything that is top of the line, especially since many nations now have lots of Fire-and-Forget long range missiles at top tier (and a lot of them as well).
if it gets the M900 then yea 11.7 could do it good, but if it doesn’t get it in due course ah well
sidenote: i got it through last year’s christmas crates and i have never owned a toptier tank before, nor do i have an interest in getting there
I am fully aware of this, a fellow player had addressed the same:
I replied:
It boils down that a BR increase of the 4.0 version has to be seen in context to the need for an increase of the 4.3 version which i addressed in another post.
From my pov a BR increase from 4.0 to 4.7 is justified but hardly acceptable for gaijin as it is an USSR aircraft and BR increases for USSR props are rather rare.
So from a sales perspective it makes no sense to go “all in” for the 4.0 version if the 4.3 version remains unchanged. That’s why i decided to request a 0.3 BR increase for both. In the unlikely case that they would follow both requests it looks way easier to request a BR alignment at a later point in time.
Hope this helps to understand my approach!
Let’s look at its potential competitors at 10.7, for example Christian II and Leopard PzBtl 123. These tanks have thermal sights, fast reverse, rapid turret traverse, good gun depression, solid protection, and already had a 6-second reload (on aces) long before auto-loaders buff. Can the T-80UD realistically compete with them? Showing good stats of individual skilled player from 10.3 doesn’t change the fact that the T-80UD lacks thermals, has slow reverse, limited gun depression, and slow turret traverse. These are objective gameplay disadvantages at 10.7–11.7, regardless of who is playing it. the T-80B on 10.7, has a thermal sight, −11 km/h reverse, and 1100 hp for 43 tons - making it more effective. About armor - many players shoot aim directly at the barrel or the driver’s hatch and with -4km/h reverse speed its almost impossible to run away, like western tanks do.
…Fox-3s that can be launch through HMD/HMS locks?
Neglecting the advantage HMS brings to the table as a whole is missing a whole bunch of possibilities at high/top tier.
The A-10C has HMS, that alongside AIM-9Ms turned it into a menace at its BR when introduced.
I got it through SL crates too, and I dont really enjoy top tier but I’ve always enjoyed it. The turret it so funny to hull down with
From what I looked up, the charge for the 30mm the btr uses has more powder behind it, and has a lighter projectile, compared to the Rarden which if I recall right was a 30x108? And the 30mm the Russian use is like a 30x128? I can’t remember exactly, if you look at “the fox needs a nerf” thread I made forever ago, I went into a lot of detail
OH NO Not the fox.
Aye sir, this marine will seek Sleep, on the floor, or in the woods. Beds are over rated
Vehicle: US M60A3 TTS
Gamemode: Ground Realistic/Arcade/SIM
BR change: None but add M833
Stay the same BR but add M833 to it as the Taiwan/china and Japanese TT models don’t have ERA but have DM33. And DM33 got the buff a few months ago iirc to 420 some pen and the US model ERA barely works also makes it heavier slightly so worse acceleration.
A lot of the Kv-220 stats come from when it was 5.3, it’s now 6.0 and collecting dust in most people’s hangers
shouldnt go down in the first place
first time they tried this it did not work out
good to know i’m not the only one with PTSD from that thread.
Did you know they designed a Fox AA?
Also also, have you ever tried a bunk on ship? Something about them and insta-sleeping.
I created that thread

the rarden is 30x170, the russian ones is 30x165, the rounds itself is actually quite similar but the rarden has slightly higher muzzle velocity, the issue is that they still have the old model for the apds, like when the apds from the bradley used to pen 110mm, the thing is that the penetration every other round got updated aside of the rarden.
This was the stats of the old 25mm apds as you can see it was nearly the exact same performance as the current rarden 30mm apds

absolutely.
T-80UD will be fine, any issues are player sided.
Im sorry but this is a absolutely Horrible Decision.

The Cheiftains are not worthy of fighting 10.3s. Unless you want to give them their THERMALS that you refuse to acknowledge existed.
The Chieftain Mk10, and 900, at 9.0 are arguably some of THE most balanced tanks in the game.
And yet the one British vehicle that ACTUALLY needs moved down, that being the AJAX, there is no sign of that.
