They are very similar vehicles, they should be the same BR, and they should both go up to decompress the BR range.
Advantages of the T-55A
The tiny difference in mobility, around a ~2% increase in horsepower per ton in engine performance. Which will be noticed in acceleration.
A rather noticeable ~20% increase in protection regarding the turret all round.
The better reload, and increased ammo count in the ready rack, 2 more shells for the T-55A. A reload that can be 5 seconds faster than the T-62.
Access to more versatile ammunition, such as APHE and smoke shells. Giving the vehicle increased versatility.
Marginally better accuracy/dispersion. The T-55A has a dispersion cone of 1.55°, compared to the T-62’s 1.60°.
Quirks of the T-62
The marginally slower acceleration isn’t an issue at range. They still boast the same speed, and transmission.
Penetrative power and post-pen damage of it’s shells is greater than that of the T-55A. (~4% better APFSDS penetration)
The armor while weaker than that of the T-55A, is still pretty strong.
Gun handling is overall better than that of the T-55A, though very minute differences.
Greater muzzle velocity (~14% greater) makes the shells very easy to hit at a distance.
Increased gun depression works in it’s favour in hilly terrain, this coupled with a smaller profile and turret roof make the T-62; in theory the better option for this sort of hill combat at range.
The difference is, Gepard similar AAs habe 40x APDS, while Falcon comes to a lovely 170 APDS rounds and the DCA even 300 which are mixed over there entire Ammo pol
+they have a also higher firerate
Ngl I’m running out of popcorn with this thread
To clarify, for most debates I have no idea who is right, but this is genuinely funny to watch people lose their shii on this
This plane is very slow, sluggish radar, weak energy retention and the only good thing is the big number of ARH missiles. At 13.7 will be a ARH missile bus same as the SU-27SM. And the finnish F-18C in the swedish tech tree needs to be folder-ed. As someone suggested, maybe limit the number or AIM-120s it can carry to 6. This jet doesn’t even have HMD or something special to offer. No reason to play at the same BR as the other F/A-18C late. The F-18C with 6 AIM-120s and no HMD will make a great 13.3 jet. Same BR as the export SU-30MK in the russian and chinese tech tree.
VT-4: BR 12.3 to 12.0
VT-4A1: BR 12.7 to 12.3
Folded with each other after the MBT-2000.
The VT-4 and VT-4A1 are not worthy of being in the 12.3 and 12.7 BR. These tanks are comparable to the Challenger 2 (11.7) and M1A1 (11.7) in terms of overall effectiveness.
The VT-4s currently being 12.3 and 12.7 result in these vehicles having no redeeming qualities, not even in comparison to the ZTZ99A at 12.3, which has better overall armor and mobility, let alone the: M1A1 and A2 at 12.0, Leopard 2a5/6/7/ (12.3 and 12.7), T-90M and T-80BVM (12.7), Type 10 and its prototypes (12.0 and 12.7), Ariete AMV (12.3), Leclerc (12.7), STRV 122 (12.7), and Merkava Mk.4 (12.3 and 12.7 for some reason).
Additionally, its modification tree should incorporate BTA4 in some sort of way. This round was first seen in the exported VT-4s to Pakistan and Thailand.
So let’s take a look.
Obj 906 has ~667k games, with 1.07 KPS.
That’s pretty good considering it’s a tech tree vehicle.
I think it would make sense to uptier it to 8.3.
Turm III has ~801k games, with 1.18 KPS.
Now let’s consider the fact that it’s premium (meaning anyone can get it at any point, even new players), and it’s fully spaded off the get go.
That’s really good!
I think it would make sense to uptier it to 8.7.
T32E1 is interesting.
It has 179k games and a 1.02 KPS, which is above average.
The reason why I wouldn’t say it should be uptiered is because it has a much smaller sample size. (179k)
Compared to the Obj 906’s 667k, it’s more likely that the average T32E1 player is better than the average Obj 906 player.
I wouldn’t say it should be uptiered.
MAUS has 1,076,000 games, which is quite a lot.
Really good stats.
On one hand the Maus is actually pretty good, but on the other hand the people who play it typically experienced players or active players who at the very least has Germany at rank V.
Not everyone has access to it or purchase it because it’s exclusive.
It can go either way.
T32 has 463k games, but a 0.98 KPS.
Far more games than the T32E1 and it’s probably the reason why its stats are so mediocre compared to the T32E1
Not nearly the amount of games as the Obj 906, and yet still has worse KPS.
It seems fine where it is.
I know this way of thinking may not be the best way, but it’s one good way of thinking about it other than comparing characteristics and properties.
