Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

LF Mk.IX should still go up to 6.0.

it also depends, does the RPM buff (2600 → 3000rpm) affect its top speed?

going from 31mph to 36mph will further hurt it at low speed, like its top speed change did previously

Vehicle: Belgian F-16A Block 15 (France)
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: From 13.0 to 12.7
Change: Lower its Battle Rating to 12.7
Reason: This aircraft is armed only with 6x AIM-9M infrared missiles and a variety of air-to-ground ordnance. In Air Realistic Battles, its air combat capability is significantly weaker compared to contemporary fighters at its BR, which often feature superior weapons such as the 4x AIM-120 AMRAAMs and 4x AIM-9LIs (like the F-4F KWS LV) or excellent flight performance combined with numerous powerful semi-active radar missiles like the R-27ER (Su-27S, Su-33). Furthermore, within the French tech tree itself, the nearly identical F-16 Block 15 OCU sits at 12.7. The OCU variant trades ground attack loadouts for the capability to carry up to 4x Magic II missiles (in addition to 9Ms), offering a more potent air-to-air option. Given its weaker air-to-air armament and inferiority to its own “sister” aircraft, the Belgian F-16A Block 15 should not have a higher BR than the OCU and is more appropriately placed at 12.7.

It already was increased to the correct top speed of 50 km/h from 40 km/h. My other report was already implemented, just the correct Ps and RPM not.

Yak-3 VK Air RB 5.7 - 6.0

Same story as Yak-3U.
It has excellent armanent, maneuvrability, energy retention and is an absolute beast at lower altitudes. It’s also fast. It eats F2G for breakfast, and while Re.2005 VDM will win a turnfight, 3U is like 50km/h faster at every altitude and 2 Shvaks beat any number of Bredas and MG151/20s.

Why not move the SEPV1 down to 12.3 then? I see no reason as to why it should be on par with the V2, which is better, and on your logic, warrants a 0.3 higher br just for some clearer thermals, which doesn’t make that much of a difference anyway.

Vehicle: J-5 Export (North Korea / China Premium)
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: From 9.3 to 9.0
Change: Lower its Battle Rating to 9.0
Reason: The J-5 Export variant is fundamentally a MiG-17 (BR 8.7) equipped with an afterburner and two early-generation PL-2 infrared missiles. While this constitutes a modest improvement over the base MiG-17, it is utterly outclassed in combat against other aircraft at its current BR of 9.3. It cannot compete with opponents such as the supersonic, highly agile MiG-21s, the powerful MiG-19 series, or the F-100 series armed with four AIM-9E missiles. The aircraft’s performance does not justify its 9.3 BR rating. A reduction to 9.0 would better align its capabilities with the competition it faces.

any updates ?

Yeah move the M1A2 back

US skill issue amuses me

Vehicle: J7W1 Shinden
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: From 6.0 to 5.7
Change: Lower its Battle Rating to 5.7
Reason: The J7W1 suffers from a heavy airframe and poor climb rate. Its primary advantage, the four powerful 30mm Ho-5 cannons, is severely limited by a very low ammunition capacity (only 60 rounds per gun). This combination of poor flight performance and limited firepower makes it extremely difficult for the aircraft to compete against other balanced fighters at its current BR of 6.0, and even at 5.7. A reduction to BR 5.7 would better reflect its actual combat effectiveness.

As someone who mains the DCA I fail to see how the removal of the APDS belt was needed. I understand that people have been wanting to see the falcon move down to 7.7, because it doesn’t have radar. However, the DCA does have radar. The DCA has always struggled as a AA so using it as a IFV was always more fun and useful. I’ve dropped about 30 nukes now with it and its not because its some overpowered vehicle, its rather the opposite as it stands now. The armor is useless making skillful positioning incredibly important, especially since the APDS belt has a limited usability. I’m incredibly disappointed by this decision to remove its APDS belt and am sad so see my main tank made complete irrelevant for the sake of another vehicles balancing.

well uhh its not really a tank, its an a spaa and should be used for killing air targets and not ground target so i see no problem with the removal of the APDS belts.

I probably didn’t explain correctly what I was thinking.
You can notice where is the OSA that fired at you, but getting closer to the battlefield might unveil some surprises you couldn’t account for.

Yes, the thing I was talking about above.

Even TV missiles with 6km of target lock range will make your life really difficult.

Shooting 6 missiles to intercept 4 enemy AGMs isn’t that bad, especially if they aren’t aimed at you.
You also might try to shoot at an actual plane too.

Ammo box is also forcing you to stay static if you want to replenish.

You died either way so it depends.
Forcing someone to come in for a strafe makes him more vulnerable than someone who’ll just toss AGMs from far off.

Being able to intercept things until your inevitable demise is a good participation award though.

How does it know which target to give you information about ?
It looks incredibly janky though.

Vehicle: MB.326K / MB.326B
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change:

  • MB.326K: 7.0 → 7.3
  • MB.326B: 6.7 → 7.0

Change: Increase Battle Rating as specified above.
Reason: The MB.326 series is a post-war designed single-seat trainer/attack aircraft. In-game, it faces opponents primarily consisting of “end-of-war propellers” like the Spitfire Mk.24, or early post-war jets like the F-80 and F3D at BRs 6.7 to 7.0. The MB.326’s significantly more advanced aerodynamics, flight performance, and overall design allow it to effortlessly outperform these WWII-era aircraft. The K variant, equipped with the modern 30mm DEFA 553 cannons, is even more potent than the B variant which only has 7mm machine guns. Therefore, increasing their BRs is necessary to ensure fairer matchmaking and balance against contemporary and more capable aircraft.

I mean sure, I wouldn’t be opposed to that.
The SEP V1 and all the 12.0 Abrams can be 12.3.
That’s fine by me.

Then why does the Gepard have a APDS belt, the same logic applies there.

Thats why I’m strongly advocating for a general BR decrease of most German WW2 tanks.

The glaring lack of playerskill needs to be balanced out. Individual stat based balancing should be exactly about this. Just cause 2 vehicles are identical, they shouldn’t share the same BR. BR adjustmends should definetly consider the players etc.

It was also meant to be a dual purpose

The gepard does have an APDS belt, but its only 40 rounds which at best would get you like 2 or 3 kills
