its the same APHE as the Rarden, i.e. basically worthless against anything with side armour, you can get lucky and pixel hunt a weak-spot but eh, not worth it.

Ngl Most Aircraft based APHE belts are abit OP-

You should either reduce the explosive damage on the Belts or Reduce so its not more than like 1 APHe Round in the Belt and have the rest be AP rounds-

I know The russian 45mm and japanese 30mm belts are abit OP

Guys, no one talking about how the 2S6 Tuguska is untouched. How is this thing 10.7 meanwhile the best SPAA eveyrone have is a Roland 3 which struggle to hit a maneuvering heli?

Japanese 30mms arent nearly as much of a problem because of their low pen and high dispersion

Vehicle: Yak-3
Recommendation: BR 4.3 to 4.7
Reasoning:

  1. Armament:
    The too low BR of Yak-3s made sense in the pre-real shatter era as the damage output of the 20 mm ShVak cannons was (historically correct) very weak.
    The changes of real shatter and adding things like adjusted ballistics made the 20 mm ShVak a very potent weapon - easy to use thanks to very flat ballistic curve and center mounted.
    You can actually outrange any plane with German MG 151s in a headon at high speed - thanks to way better ballistics and thanks to the not processed bug report regarding MG 151s, as the self destructing mine shells explode after travelled distance and not after 3 seconds (which would be historically accurate).
  2. Flight performance:
    If you compare the climb rate up to 5.000 meters with current peers you might find out that just a few planes (like Pyoerremski, 109 G-6 or F8F) are able to get to co-alt before the merge - otherwise your team has to rely on fighters with interceptor spawn to push them low. Seeing that most of Air RB fights takes place at the sweet spot of Yak-3s (= 4 km alt and lower) the 4.3 BR is a joke as outperforms as a whole (speed, climb, turn) almost anything - (except Spits and JP planes) due to superior energy retention. A plane which saw combat in September / October 1944 should fight contemporary aircraft of the Luftwaffe (their sole opponent until August 1945); the currently way too low BR is just the result of poor pilots (similar to most US fighters).

Don’t bother with high tier naval. Use 5.7 British ships, HMS London and HMS Invincible. You also have HMS Glorious but 15 inch guns at that BR are kind of useless.

Very rarely did I get uptiered. I spaded HMS London in 20 games with 48 kills and just a single death.

What about the 9UT? Same 45mm, Even better plane.

Reason : This thing is bad, like a whale. If it stays at 8.0, at least give it competitive armament. It only has 2 AS-11 ingame while the IRL one could carry 4 AS-11

i just use HMS belfast as its my favourite warship in game. no intrest in going near the fake russian ships of alternate universe bias

Would instantly be thrown to the side for HMS Cavalier but shes not here yet

Gamemode: Air realistic & Ground realistic
BR Change: ARB: 13.0 —> 12.7 GRB: 12.0—> 11.7
Reason: The mig 29g is completely outclassed at 13.0 by vehicles such as the base Su 27s, which have 6x the number of r27ers while having the same number of r73s. If we are moving down the f15as, we should move some of the current 13.0s as well, espicially the ones that do not have access to fox 3 missiles. The mig 29 g also does not have a good rwr, making it quite obsolete fighting against fox 3s. The mig 29 g should also be moved down in br in ground realistic battles, as it lacks good CAS capabilities while having a terrible RWR.

Offensive wise it’s decent, but the lack of survivability has been an issue for a while already … and has only been amplified with the arrival of BMPTs penetrating it everywhere

Vehicle: Hunter F6 (Britain)

Gamemode: Ground Realistic

BR Change: 9.7 —> 9.3

Reason: The Hunter F6 has very limited GRB potential, with a minimal A2G weapons load, especially alongside missiles and no CMs. Compared directly to the Hunter FGA9 already at 9.3, let alone other 9.3s such as the Buc S2 with both CMs and CCIP, it is notably underpowered in this role.

The main strength for it, is the AAMs that would give a much needed CAP option for our 9.3 line-up which is about to become our primary BR of this bracket.

Game Mode: Air RB / Air Realistic
BR change: 6.7 to 7.3
Reasoning:

The rocket plane is outperforming every opponent at its current BR. Even as the fuel load looks rather small the fuel efficiency is highly unrealistic - with low throttle the fuel lasts for ages.

In addition the 2 x 45 rounds of 20 mm ShVak are enough for any non-rookie player to score 3-5 kills with one ammo load - thanks to the damage output buff for the weakest 20 mm cannon in irl (WW 2) with RS 2.0 / 3.0.

In order to kill a BI there are just 2 viable strategies:

  1. Swarm it aggressively with multiple planes at the same time in order to enforce them to use 100% power to evade the attacks - this has to be repeated until the BI runs out of fuel and can’t escape as their rip speed is too low.
  2. Wait in orbit until the BI scored 2-3 kills and is heading to rearm refuel to his forward airfield and strafe it on the runway.

This is no subjective observation - these threads deal with the current op status of the BI - highly experienced Air RB players confirm this in detailed analysis spread amongst more than 200 posts (with together more than 10k views):
