Planned Battle Rating changes for the month of October

Can’t help but notice that not a single russian vehicle above 6.7 is being affected even though they have some of the most powerful vehicles at higher brs (planes, helis and tanks).

Where is object 279?

I also think that the max br should be raised to 13.0 or 14.0 so that planes with no flares don’t have to see all aspect missiles and that in general the technology difference isn’t as big where old fast planes like mig21 have to face F16 with AIM9M

there is no reason the Mirage F1C-200 should go, please don’t

Ka-50 is still the most broken thing in the game and still doesn’t go up in BR??? Really???

12.3 with no IRCCM missiles, no radar missiles and only 60 countermeasures.

They should give it the extra countermeasures the Israelis gave their F-16A and the AIM-9M minimum, but at 12.3 I’d want to see it with the Python 4.

M26 going to 6.7 makes no sense, specially if the T26E5 (M26 with better armor) and the M26E1 (M26 with better gun) are also 6.7. Also M26 T99 br is untouched lololol.

KV-220 should go to 6.0. Come on Gaijin! If the Tiger E is getting its br raised so it should the KV-220.

Object 279 should go to 9.0. No explanations needed.

Tiger II (P) should stay at 6.3. It has 100mm of armor in the turret face. Same br as the Tiger II (H)? What are you guys thinking?

Yes but the radar guided missiles are mostly useless and have around a 15% hit rate the aim 9es are constantly flared and other jets like for example the mig 21s have better flight performance better missiles and flares

increase the RB BR of KA-50 to 11.3, please.

Sure BR decompression is needed but the Netz moving to 12.3 isn’t that, it only works if the current 12.3s also move up to 12.7 then I’d agree the early F-16s and MiG-29s should be 12.3

Leopard 2a4 10.3 -->10.7

MBT 2000 10.0 -->10.3

That would be an exceptionally stupid reason then, even for Gaijin. At least make it a modification. If you could carry the round irl you should be able to carry it in game if you want.

The US experience from 5.0 to 7.0!

Ive seen 2 su-25bm in the last 2 months, you dont need to worry about them

It is a subjective opinion based on what YOU feel like is most important on a tank and relevant to its BR, like this wild fever dream of minimal armour difference and 0.2hp/t and 8km/h topspeed being difference of two whole BRs. Or even better, putting the M6A1 and T1E1 two whole BRs apart just bc the latter has better reverse speed.
Compared to its BR range, the M4A1 76 does fit well with 5.0. Stabilizers are so important that a ton of tanks just got moved up in BR decompression because they have a stabilizer. It is featured on lower BR shermans but the 76mm cannon has an increase in almost 50% penetration and a roughly 30% increase in shell velocity. that is a huge benefit at all ranges. Alot of tanks the 75 shermans struggle with get lolpenned by the 76.
Not to mention that most of it’s worst enemies that the M4A1 76 could see or see more often at 5.0 also get a BR increase, like the Tiger 1s or the IS-2s. So that isn’t even a problem for it.

And since you think it is oh so important that it will see stronger enemies, why do you think the M4A1 76 is balanced fighting 3.7s?

Moving the Type 69 to 9.0 right after the sale, complete bait and switch. Also AMX TO90 and Char 25t to 7.7 leave the Somua by itself with a horrible lineup at 7.3. French 7.7 is completely bloated.

Centurion Mk. 2 should not be moved to 6.7. It is balanced at 6.3, and will most likely struggle at 6.7.

Object 279 should not be at 8.7, where it can face Centurion Mk3/Shot/Strv 81 and now Char 25t with a whole 214mm of pen. The reload buff doesn’t help all that much if the American 90 literally cannot even scratch that tank.

My opinion is based on the necessity of lineups and the tanks performance matched against its peers

0.3 =/= 1.0

It has a reverse gearbox allowing it to go 38 km/h backwards, that’s insanely fast at its BR range for reverse. Combing that with its stabilizer it’s a very very good vehicle.

Being put on par with 4.3 tanks and their weaponry isn’t above average performance. Stabilizers are important which is why the Shermans can function with subpar guns / armor compared to other nations. The stabilizer is why a tank which is effectively the same as a 3.3 tank mobility and armor wise should be 4.7, it should not be 5.0 when its gun is subpar to enemies at that BR range.

I don’t agree with Gaijin’s decision to destroy the WW2 BR range. The majority of ground BR changes are horrific for the current game state.

Full downtiers are uncommon. 3.7 tanks can easily penetrate the M4A1 76.

Luckily we still have the AML90 at 7.3 but yeah… 7.7 is ridiculous right now when you consider all of the gigantic BR caps France (and many other minor nations) have.
