Reason: The Strikemaster is an exceptionally effective ground attack plane on its current BR, arguably an overperforming aircraft compared to other ground attack craft with the main reason for its lower BR being that it is only equiped with FN MAGs with a relatively lower rate of fire and damage output. With miniguns equiped (as shown on image of an Omani mk 82) it would massively increase its air to air capabilities, allowing the jet to be in a more reasonable/balanced position with respect to its other weapon systems.
With the changes, each pod will go from having 2x 425 round 950rpm machine guns to 1 1500 round, 3000/6000 rpm minigun, increasing burst mass significantly and allowing the jet to have a better air to air capability, allowing it to have a more suitable BR.
Sadly, I am unable to find much more about this loadouts trials beyond the image.
(assuming that it would be carrying pods on all 4 pylons, 2 on each in the image for balancing of the aircraft)
Another offender is the F8U-2, at the same level of the J-7E but at 10.0, completely overpowered and mops the floor with anything in a downtier and strong enough to deal with whatever threat it faces in uptiers, it should be at least 10.3
Air RB, A-10C. 11.3 > 11.7 at least. The A-10C, while not having a great airframe for the battle rating, has incredibly strong missiles. It is unfair for 10.3 planes to have to face AIM-9Ms.
I dont care about the average noob skill. Any decent player who knows what they are doing are fine with the 2P, and which 6.3 US heavies are doing better? I know you dont mean the Jumbo though i also enjoy that tank also. I agree 6.7 US is awful to fight but i also refuse to think that the 2p which i love is that bad.
Tank - Tam/ Tam 2ip
Mode - GRB
BR - 8.7 ->9.0 9.0 → 9.3
I know its two vehicles but they are very simmlar, already powerfull and with other BR changes would become even stronger. In general alot of other 7.7 - 9.0 tanks need reajusting
Ground RB, T-2 9.7 > 9.3
No countermeasures, no RWR, no standoff capability and with that not even CCIP nor CCRP and at 9.7 no possibility to be included in ground lineup. 9.3 ground lineup for japan is very interesting one but as it stands right now gets constant uptiers to 10.3 where f-86 f-40 is far from competetive. Even though quite a few vehicles get raised to 10.7 the 10.3 matches will still be a major outcome for 9.3 lineups.
@Stona_WT@Smin1080p_WT MANY BR errors in the spreadsheet, seems like especially with the light tank GAB BR’s: (Would also be nice to get a confirmation if the listed changes to their GAB BR’s are correct/being changed too, thanks!) M1128 and the M1128 Wolfpack are currently 9.3 BR in GAB, not 10.0 BR:
Strf 9040 BILL is currently 10.7 BR in GAB, not 10.0 BR:
Edit #1 Found more BMD-4 is currently 8.7 BR in GAB, not 9.0 BR:
Edit #2 CV 90105 is currently 9.7 BR in GAB, not 10.0 BR:
TAM 2C is currently 9.7 BR in GAB, not 10.0 BR:
Edit #3 Rooikat 105 is currently 9.0 BR in GAB, not 9.3 BR:
I am still looking through more of the Light Tanks. As I have not yet found any errors with other vehicle types (or GRB errors), it would probably be a good idea to at least check all of the light tank GAB BR’s which are listed for changes.
@KurdistanAZAD@Devin_Wild I found a bunch more lol, lmk if you guys find any more and I will add them to my post here.
Everyone seems to have forgotten about Tornado F.3 Late now. Its radar is very bad at 13.3 and only has a head-on attack mode. HDN radar cannot properly guide fox3 missiles after the first wave of fox3 spam. Its flight performance is no better than Tornado F3 which is already bad at 12.0 and the lack of HMD makes it completely useless at close range. AIM9M is good, but you rarely find a chance to fire it. It cannot compete with other aircraft at the same BR. In comparison, the JF-17 at the same BR has powerful diversified combat capabilities and superior maneuverability. JF-17 can compete with lesser 13.7 jets while Tornado F3 Late struggles to beat 13.0 jets in 1v1 combat. As a fighter, its performance in air combat is not even as good as attackers such as av8b+, which is ridiculous.
Shimakaze haves one single big issue, and that’s that the ship is decent in arcade battles thanks to the torpedo reload mechanic, this would be easily solved by making it the first ship to have separate arcade and realistic BRs in Naval (could be 4.3 in realistic, 4.7 in arcade) but just plainly bad in realistic.
It haves a good top speed, the highest number of torpedoes ready to be launched of any ship and a very decent late war AA suite.
Sadly, that’s where the good stuff ends, the ship haves the issue of torpedo slingers in WT depending heavily on either the maps or how the enemy plays; having open sea maps where you would think Shimakaze shines will just get you smoked by Helenas or Atlantas it can face on regular basis, and any downtier to 4.0 is negated by how maps at this br work.
This ship shouldn’t be balanced relying on only “but muh 15 torpedoes” especially when IJN Yuugumo have a higher count of torpedoes with the same top speed and more range, while Hatsaharu haves a higher sheer count of torpedoes while having less range and speed.
The guns are on par with other Japanese DDs at 4.0/4.3 BR: slow ROF, high muzzle speed but only HE and HE-TF with a filler comparable to what other nations get at lower BRs in their HE-VT shells.
As said on the top of the post, my proposal is to either change its BR to 4.3 only in realistic battles, or just agree to a middle ground of 4.7 in both modes, since in the end anyone can tell Shimakaze is NOT worth of the title of a 5.0 BR ship, and thus should be rebalanced.
Ground RB. Ferdiand/Elephant. 6.7 > 6.3. Extremly outdated tankdestroyers, since most of the sniping spots and maps are removed those tanks are useless. With a 23% and 30% win ratio respectively they need move down. They arent comparable to another 6.7 tank destroyers like SU-122-54 for example.
It is incredibly that the Bis ISH is a lower BR than the Bis while the Saggitario 2 is the same BR as the Ariete, the performance difference actually matters there…
(actually the answer is just money i guess)
