So the bearcat is 4.7 And can see A6M2 which is at 3.7 in a downtier

what about :
1:No RAF planes got downtiered? Looking at the FG1 and FGR2 specifically

2: f3 demon goes to 9.0 with Aim 7s vs people with no RWR or chaff

3: J35 A doesnt get downtiered ? It gets smacked hard by 104s and F8U

4: ITA 104s stagnant with their AIM9P rear aspects ?

Good luck against a 10.0 opponent with spaced armor, quicker reload, Thermals, ERA etc. though.

F-2 Sabre is a worse variant than the CL-13A Mk 5. Worse engine for 20mms doesn’t seem right.

The F8U-2 must be moved up in Air RB, it currently destroys everything it faces. It has Aim-9Ds at a BR where it faces jets with no countermeasures at all, and it has insane energy retention and can dogfight pretty much everything. Please put it to at least 10.3.

At first I thought 10.3 was a good enough step, but honestly seeing so many people here consider 10.7 sways me to thinking that’s probably a best first step; and then reducing it to 10.3 if it underperforms. It’s essentially the same aircraft as the F8E, with a slightly weaker engine and lacking radar missiles.

Vehicle: Phantom F4J(UK)
Gamemode: Air Realistic and Air Sim
BR Change: 12.0 → 11.3
Reason:

Air Realistic: It has comprable performance to aircraft like the F-4EJ and has little justification to be a full BR higher than F-4EJ. It does have some advantages like PD and so should be 0.3 higher, but has no reason to be 12.0.

Air Sim: It is vastly inferior to the Phantom FGR2/FG1 which both sit at 11.3 already in Sim. The only reason to justify this BR is because its premium and thus can print more SL/RP. That is it. That is its only advantage. It has a worse RWR compared to them and a lower CM count, Not too mention the weaker engines.

To Gaijin: People might actually buy it if its at a sane BR

Nobody is using it at 8.3 to begin with as 8.7 is the better lineup over 8.3, it could go to 8.7 for ground since its only good their but for the people that want it at 9.0 air and such are silly

If you die to it in air as a fighter you are a clown. Seriously, especially all the 8.7 jets pushed to 8.0, you literally cant lose unless you’re bad

As a HSTV-L user, I must point out that it does have better mobility and depression than 2S38, but the low ammo pool, slower firerate and lack of damage on ammo is on a ridiculous level. How is this thing 11.3 when we have 2S38 at 10.0 and Begleitpanzer at 9.3? It should only be 0.3 BR higher than 2S38 if not the same.

EDIT: Ohh I also forgot that 2S38 has crisp gen 3 thermals and LWS while you can barely see anything with HSTV-L’s gen 1 thermals, how are you suppose to aim for weakspots with that blurry pixel mess… HSTV-L is a sidegrade to 2S38 not an upgrade.

move the top br for aircraft in ground rb to 13.0. otherwise top tier will be ruined by premium 1 death leavers. the fact this hasnt been addressed is criminal. if it goes through as is this will be the single worst change to top tier in years.

So will the HSTVL be able to access its Delta 6 round to compensate its lower penetrative power compared to the br bracket it will face?

I initially thought they genuinely forgot to move it up during the last BR changes but the fact they haven’t moved it up now just proves how the developers have absolutely no touch with their game whatsoever, there is NO justification for it staying at 10.0

Composite screens that are a few mm thick and do literally nothing? A turret filled with ammo and sensitive components?

HSTV-L effectively has a crewless turret because 2/3 crew are in the hull. It also has 17 degrees of gun depression which when used effectively makes it essentially invincible except to explosive rounds.

Ammo lacks pen to be as good as 2S38, also has slightly worse survivability. No IR tracking and only 1st gen thermals. Its good but its not that good.

The F104S/ASA should be moved to 11.7: it has terrible RWR with no jammer modeled, the turn radius is incredibly wide and it can’t outrun planes unlike the 9.3 starfighters.
Considering that with the upcoming br changes you could face Su-27 and you already encounter many Fox-3 capable aircrafts in that plane, the current battle rating is insane for a plane that is already underperforming since a long time.

Add ready rack, decrease reload for ready rack from standard 13s → 10s

The current stock reload of it is too long. It is a open vehicle with a lot of space to maneuver
the ammunition around in the compartment, but somehow it takes unskilled crew 13 seconds to move the ammunition from just beside the gun breach into the breach. If you compare the reload to similar vehicles in other tech trees, then they are at a lower BR with better reload, and the same pen.
What i suggest, is make the ammo rack marked 1 & 2 on image that is on the wiki into ready racks with reduced reload.

T-160 is still death laser gun and is far better than the 50cals.

The current CL-13 counterparts are the F-2 Sabre and MiG-17, which have not changed at all since 2016.

If the Leopard 40/70 is going to go to 6.0 I think it should at least get a new slightly better HE round as a modification. For that I’m suggesting the NON-PROXY HEFI-T round used on Italian costal L/70 bofors, this would increase the filler from 128g equivalent to 184g equivalent.
The Leo 40/70 is already very susceptible to planes strafing it and killing it in a single pass and with it now going to face faster and more resilient planes with better armaments it needs a more consistent way of dealing with threats

Ground Forces Arcade, Sd.Kfz. 234/4 . 4.3 > 4.3 (no change).

In my opinion, the 234/4 is not great for Arcade in the first place and - apart from the fact that it is a rare and expensive event vehicle - that might be the reason why I have only maybe seen one or two of these in the past five years, despite playing at its BR all the time. I don’t see it ruin matches. There might be a handful of veterans who have this thing and boost its win rate and K/D stats. I have it in my line-up personally, but I always end up picking other vehicles between 4.0 and 4.3 with more amor.

What makes it a menace in GRB is the fact that it can quickly get into unexpected places and rack up some kills to spawn a plane. But that’s obviously not how you play Arcade.

While the gun is great for its BR and its top speed is insane on flat and hard ground, it is still lightly armored, open-top and has no turret. On top of that, it has wheels. Keeping your gun on targets that aren’t either stationary or moving towards you in a straight line is kind of awkward. Also, you can be pretty much seen on the mini map throughout the whole match anyways. So you can rarely make ambushes work (at least while trying to contribute to the match).

I really only see these reasons to touch this vehicle in Arcade:

  • A rework of overpressure mechanics that makes it more survivable.
  • People start spamming it during events to farm tasks.
  • You want to balance it relative to other vehicles based on its speed and penetration values alone.

All in all, as a regular player, I don’t understand why this vehicle popped up on your radar out of a sudden. Personally, I think it would be a pity if this vehicle became even more unattractive in Arcade, since it’s actually pretty cool and I’d rather see more of these than less.

Its flight model and generaly abilty are far better then the rest of 7.3s in game and is far closer to all the 7.7s (I have played all but 1 7.3 and 7.7 planes in the game)
