The Abrams had good survivability back in 2018-2019. It’s 2024, things have changed.

Just proven that is not the case, and Abrams is easier to disable or kill.
The difference in pen between darts that pen more than 580mm pen is pretty much non existent though. Every dart that pens more than 580mm usually has to aim for the same weakspots anyway.

if you’re struggling with abrams in 2024 that’s an actual skill issue. and also, “this forum has a hate circle around America”, yet you ignore the constant rambling around stuff like 2S38, which honestly, isnt even THAT overpowered right now, considering you can disable/kill it with 0 effort - unless you are disabled.

You cherry picking 2 clips of your bad aim, and the reason why you are still negative in your M1A1 AIM, is hardly considered proof.
As long as you don’t “play like a buffoon” ANY tank you will do great.
There are people who do great on Arietes. Up to 5.1 K/Ds on Ariete, I’ve seen. Does that mean that the Arietes are amazing?
We are talking about objective technical capabilities here, not “muh if you sweat hard you can aktchually do well”.
If you need to sweat with a tank to “do great” while other tanks (like the 2A7s or the 122s) do great on their own while playing them like a headless chicken, there’s a balance issue there.
This isn’t about whether “you can do well or not” on a tank; it’s about HOW EASILY you can do well or not on a tank.

AGREED. ZTZ99A and VT4 shouldn’t go to 12.0, especially VT4 because it doesn’t worth battle rating 12.0 no matter mobility, survivability nor fire power.

620 is a general seperator between the ability to lolpen T-80U UFP, but there are now more armored tanks than the T-80U, and there arent really an indicator for western designs since people just aim for weakspots. Russian designs can be said the same now as well since a 3bm42 can probably LFP BVM.

XM1(GM) 9.3>9.0 105 shell with almost no pen for its br plus reletively weak armor and a 8.7 second reload. The m60a1 rise is a full br lower with the same shell same reload just with slightly worse armor and no thermals plus it has era. The current br xm1 is only able to pen on teir tanks if you hit a weakspot and those tanks have shells that can go through the thickest part of your armor with the same reload

Extra pen just helps with angles, instead of penning weakspots.
His tactical mobility could not hide his poor firepower and protection.Have you actually tried it？

If you need to play competitively with a tank for it to work, while you can shut your brain off and still do well on another tank, there’s a balance issue there.

XM1 (GM) gets thermals, pretty good mobility, and decent armour, along with the same round as the M6A1 RISE (P). The XM-803, which is 9.0, gets a much worse reload (7.5s instead of 6.7s), no thermals, slightly better mobility, slightly worse round, and worse optics.
I honestly think the XM-1 (GM) and the XM-1 (Chrysler) should be the same BR of 9.3.

XM-1 (GM) is fine as is, the main problem it had was the br itself - 9.3 - which absolutely sucked as a whole. With the 9.3 decompression, it’ll perform much better.
