Not sure about M829A3 since from what I can remember, it can effectively defeat relikt, which would make T-Series tanks very easy to kill.
Anti-ERA tip properties of shells are not modelled for any shell ingame, and so, wouldn’t be on M829A3.
Even the developers themselves stated oficially that “M829A3 would not change anything because it’s not very different from M829A2 or DM53 anyway”.
M829A3 would just be a slightly better DM53, with around 7mm more of pen. Given the numerous and enormous advantages the Leopard 2A7s have over the Abrams in terms of protection and survivability, I think it would be fair if the Abrams could at least be a proper glass canon in every way

Don’t know how much M829A3 would help the Abrams perform better.
The main issue most USA mains have with the Abrams at the moment is its giant turret ring weakspot, and the LFP being easily penetrated.
T-90M has shitty reverse, pretty subpar mobility, a long reload and is pretty easy to one shot kill. It’s absolutely beyond easy to for the Abrams to dictate any engagement against a T-90M.
The T-90M is incredibly easy to fight against for any player who put at least 1 irl skillpoint into gamesense.

None of which things will ever change. Even if the ring is fixed it won’t protect against main caliber APFSDS shells (would be around 280-300mm KE); and Gaijin actively refuses to improve the hull of any Abrams.
So the best bet is to go full glass-canon route by giving, at least SEPv3, its historical M829A3 shell choice which, as stated, wouldn’t change all that much, except it would feel nicer and be more effective against Kontakt-5-protected tanks.
MTI mode which you cannot be changed manually and only works below 1500m while pointing the radar downwards, 90km range but can only lock at 60km and you have to be higher than 1500m to change the range, it’s garbage. Dying to a R-23R you have to be either afk or bad. R-60Ms are pretty overrated you can dodge it in a head-on, it has 2km range from rear-aspect while going above mach 1. Also why are you only thinking about downtiers what about the uptiers 12.3 you have the M2K which laughs at you also F-14A/IRIAF at 12.0 you have the PD F-4 spam at 11.7 you have the MiG-23ML/MLD. I spaded the MiG-23M a few days ago most of your game is 11.7-12.0 beacuse of the premium black hole and those vehicles are miles better than the MiG-23M, So yes it’s a reasonable decision.
And at that point, I’d rather use the Type 10 tbh with you. 😂
You could give Americans M829A4 and they would still get 40% winrate, Giving tanks better darts as cope buffs never works…

It’s not a “cope buff”, it’s giving the pinnacle of the American tree its historical munition choice so that at least it feels like an actual upgrade in ONE way compared to SEP or A2.
As of now, SEPv2 is identical to SEP, except slower; while SEP is identical to A2, except better thermals.
Sidegrade after sidegrade after sidegrade. Ultimately, leaving aside the cosmetic TUSK II, all SEPv2 differs from A2 is thermals. Ultimately, SEPv2 is identical to SEP. Exact same thing over and over again.

So can the Leclercs get SHARD rounds then? And honestly, a whole 7mm of additional penetration will not do anything. It’s just giving US mains another thing they can cope with.

I don’t think that’s a bad idea.
He’s talking about 7mm more pentration than DM53, not M829A2.
I don’t see why they haven’t added 3BM59 yet anyway. People already did the calculations and it would only add 20mm more pen, hardly anything problematic.

I would rather have the Leclercs get their mobility (should accelerate way faster) and protection (specially UFP) fixed to historical levels, the same way M829A3 would be a historical improvement as well.
Regarding SHARD, maybe for S.XXI and a potentially upcoming XLR, which are the ones that may use it in real life in a foreseeable future.

Give T-90M 3BM59, fine by me; but if you want to give it ARENA, then give SEPv2 Trophy as well.

Air RB, Su-7BKL/BMK, should retain current BR, 9.3 → 9.3.
It has no flares and no AAMs, it already suffers facing A-10s due to them having AIM-9Ls. The ground loadout is also bad, no guided bombs or missiles, just plain old unguided FABs and S-24s.
Moving it up to 9.7 will in fact put it up above the MiG-21F-13 and MiG-21 PFM, while actually being worse than them in all aspects.
