- RB, A1E1 Independent: 1.3 down to 1.0. Terrible armour for a heavy tank, worse than many nations light tanks even at 1.0. Terrible mobility. Massive target. 3-Pdr gun isn’t a redeeming factor either, it’s not the worst gun in the game, but due to all the other factors combined it’s made much worse.
Oh that one the Germans KV-1E, sorry there is so many vehicles at this point that it’s hard to remember these modification names😅 my bad, ye sure that one can go to 4.7, there is a lineup for it so it won’t suffer too much
- RB, SARC IVa: 1.3 down to 1.0. It’s fast, and that’s kinda it. If you compare it to the Daimler it shares a BR with, it loses in almost every respect. Worse armour, no shoulder stabiliser, gun is incredibly bouncy and kicks like a mule after firing, worse gun elevation and depression angles, and it’s open-topped.
F-14A Early at 12.7?
I think it’s more fair to keep it at 12.3 and have the F14A IRIAF at 12.7 due to the Fakour 90 rendering the AIM-54A of the F14A Early almost useless because the Fakour 90 is much faster easily outrunning the AIM-54A stealing the kills. So I think the F14A Early should stay at 12.3 in order for it to fair. I also think the F-14 IRIAF would preform very well with is very fast missiles with large warheads at a higher BR than the F14A Early.
- RB, Churchill Mk. I: 3.3 down to 3.0. The 2-Pdr is horrendous at this point, mainly due to the lack of mobility to flank. Even taking it in downtiers it struggles to penetrate Pz. IV F2’s with add-on track armour, Pz. III M’s, M4A1’s, T-34’s, etc.
- RB, Crusader AA Mk II: 4.0 down to 3.7. I don’t understand why this vehicle even went up. Just compare it to the Wirbelwind, far less rate-of-fire, less penetration, and half the guns. The only advantage the Crusader AA Mk. II has is an enclosed turret and more mobility. The 2 were very asymmetrically balanced.
It would be nice if the F-4F ICE would move from 13.3 to 13.0. I played a fair bit with it and must say that an F-4 even with AIM-120 is not competitive against F-15, Su-27 and the rest. You can’t get height fast enough, you can’t run away. The only thing you can do is shoot an AIM-120 and die or sometimes get lucky and not die.
It has a decent floor but the celling is very limited. The worst firepower combo of 7.1s reload and sub-580 pen made its skill celling the lowest out of any top tier since its practically the worst in killing potentials. Its skill floor is better than the worst tanks like CR2 with its impressive mobility and decent UFP, but thats its only advantages.
Again, I think the forum has mythsized the tank too much. Its only edge in actual gameplay is its mobility. Just like the rest of top tier China, I am astounded when someone say the tor is the second best top tier AA.
- RB, Churchill Mk. III: 4.0 down to 3.7. Less mobility than the Churchill Mk. I, same hull armour, and worse turret armour (only 3.5 inches compared to 4 inches). The gun is better, but that’s it. It’s also the same gun that’s on the AEC Mk. II at 3.0.
Good gun, extremely good mobility, making this a very good flanker, that can be in very advantageous positions very early in the game. It cannon also have really good pen for its BR, and therefore is able to deal with vehicles a lot higher BR than itself, as seen in how many people actually bring it up into a lot higher games such as 6.X, 8.X or even top tier.
- RB, Churchill NA75: 4.3 down to 4.0. It’s more of a side-grade over the Churchill Mk. III, not a direct upgrade. You lose the good rate-of-fire, lose the shoulder stabiliser, and lose a decent amount of penetration for a better damaging shell. That’s the only difference, the shell is good but if the Churchill Mk. III goes down then the NA75 should as well.
- RB, Comet: 5.3 down to 5.0. It’s really a shadow of its former self. The A30 Challenger is a better vehicle in almost everyway. Just compare it to the VK 3002 (M).
Good gun, extremely good mobility, making this a very good flanker, that can be in very advantageous positions very early in the game. It cannon also have decent good pen for its BR with HE filler, and therefore is able to deal with vehicles a lot higher BR than itself, as seen in how many people actually bring it up into a lot higher games such as 6.X, 8.X or even top tier.
Revising the chart, it is clearer and clearer that 12.0 for ground does nothing.
Almost every 10.0+ vehicle goes up by 1 BR step… so it changes nothing for them.
Leopard 2A5 is still the same BR as Leopard 2A7V.
M1A2 and even some Challenger 2s are still the same BR as Strv 122s.
M1A1 and IPM1 still face Leopard 2A7HUs…
What’s the point? Nothing changes.
Ground needs to be decompressed to 13.0; and, ideally, 13.7, so that other, lower BRs can also be decompressed.
I am never scared of pulling up to ZTZ99As in an ariete because I am confident that a shot to the LFP sends them to the hangar. In reverse as well, but even against arietes the ZTZ99As would aim for gun or breech with their horrendous reload.
