The turret of the merkava is arguably weaker as well, also the leclerc is much more mobile.
I would still gladly take a Leclerc over a Merkava. Smaller profile and better gun depression while neither of them can really rely on armor and survivability.

A vehicle’s lineup should have no say on the vehicle’s BR, only the raw performance of the vehicle should matter. One way to do this is by adding certain things, or removing certain things from a vehicle to make it a higher or lower BR than previously, which in turn allows the vehicle to be used in a lineup.
With that being said, the VFM5 should definitely stay at 9.3, as the XM8 is not being moved up to 10.0 (from 9.7), and it gets gen one thermals, an 8% increase in power-to-weight than the VFM5 (31.25hp/ton compared to 29.04hp/ton), and gets a 5.0s reload instead of a 6.7s reload (which requires ACE crew to obtain). The XM8 also has a slightly better turret rotation speed (36° per second, instead of 34° per second), all for a slightly better dart.
CW is a constant wave signal - yes, it cant be used at low altitude (unless you are close), but there are plenty of jets flying high
The KF41 has low armor, survivability, and attack power, and the current 10.7 (11.0 after the update) is a bit unjustified

Mobility isn’t useful when your gun can’t pen anything. The Type 10 is what the Leclerc should be, no armour but fast, very nice reload and good round.
The mobility could be an advantage if it at least got a new round
That’s more likely just a preference in gameplay, but you can’t tell me that both are on the same br when the Leclerc does everything worse except for mobility

It is a M4A3, but it doesn’t have a frontal weakspot of the MG port unlike the other sherman, which means that for a lot of the tanks that is at a lower BR, they cannot kill it at all. While it does have a part of its turret that is weaker, it is not visually not obvious at all that it is there, and at the same time, you still need quite a lot of penetration to go through.
By comparison the M4A2 which is at 4.0, the Sherman III/IV trades APCR and a .50 cal for no hull weakspot.
Only if you were more mobile by a large margin. The mobility on the Leclerc just gets you killed first since you arrive at the same time as T-80 and other real mbts that you can’t compete with and are as fast as you

The Merkava still likely has to sit back and snipe more.

Arring at the same time than a t80 is still better than arriving after a t80… also what does the merkava does brtter than a leclerc aside of the penetration?

While it is like a bunker that drives around, and have a gun that can do decent amount of damage for a solid shot. Its armour just doesn’t hold up at the current BR it have. It have multiple weakspots that are impossible to cover all at the same time.

Well yes, that’s what it was designed for, protection over mobility. Even though protection might not be excellent it’s still better.
but comparing these tanks aren’t really useful since they are very different so let’s take something else.
Leclerc can flank yes, but why would I pick one over a Type 90 for example ?

Extremely power full TD, it is near impervious from the front, and it have very good mobility. Combined with a cannon you nearly do not need to aim, it slaughters new players. You can litteraly turn you brain off and still easily dominate.

Larger and has spall liner (at least i think ?) so shell can sometimes go right through
Merkava protection might as well not exist lol, it’s that easy to penetrate and kill just like the Leclerc.
The Merkava is only better in terms of reverse speed and penetration. The Leclerc is smaller, considerably more mobile going forward and has better gun angles

Ground RB, 2S38 10.3 → 11.7 The 2S38 is incredibly broken at it’s BR. Not only is it inaccurate to have a very modern vehicle fighting 1980’s MBT’s, it’s weaponry at it’s br makes it more powerful than anything it faces at it’s BR. Please move it up in BR.
