Air Realistic Battles, A-7E, 10.7 > 10.3 (also option to add historical 2 x AIM-9Ls if need be).
The A-7E Corsair II, unlike the A-10A Early/Late Thunderbolt II, is worse in almost every single aspect as both a CAS ground attack aircraft and most in particular, air-to-air defence against other supersonic enemy fighters. Other than a higher subsonic top speed, (which it won’t reach with ordinance equipped) Other than a LANA pod and some television-guided AGM-62A Walleyes that aren’t really that useful or helpful to your team other than killing a few AI ground targets more accurately. This aircraft is worse than the A-10 in nearly every way when it comes to aerial combat with worse air-to-air missiles, way less flare/chaff count, less main gun firepower and of course, the maneuverability and dogfighting abilities which are far more suitable and useful in the sense for Air RB.
It’s also worth noting the A-7 Corsair IIs were historically were dated in service a lot earlier than the A-10 Thunderbolts before eventually being replaced by F/A-18 Hornets. IMO, the folder should come BEFORE the A-10C Late in the strike fighter line.
