Planned Battle Rating Changes for October 2024

GRB, Ozelot 9.7>9.3. Armament consists of IR missiles only. Compared to Other Nations SPAA at this BR the Ozelot is less capable and versitile.

I see. I thought you meant that it was good 😂

Agreed it has no place going up against 12.3s

As someone who actively plays the A-10C in ground and air, swap it’s BR’s. 12.0 for ground is too high and 11.3 for air is way too low

10.3 would be totally insane. It would seal club in full downtiers just as hard as the F-14A did to the J35XS. 10.7 maybe, just maybe, especially in Sim. But no lower than that. Though I think it will be fine at 11.0 for the most part.

Mode: Air RB
Vehicle: Yak-3
Recommendation: BR 4.3 to 4.7
Reasoning:

  1. Armament:
The too low BR of Yak-3s made sense in the pre-real shatter era as the damage output of the 20 mm ShVak cannons was (historically correct) very weak.
The changes of real shatter and adding things like adjusted ballistics made the 20 mm ShVak a very potent weapon - easy to use thanks to very flat ballistic curve and center mounted.
You can actually outrange any plane with German MG 151s in a headon at high speed - thanks to way better ballistics and thanks to the not processed bug report regarding MG 151s, as the self destructing mine shells explode after travelled distance and not after 3 seconds (which would be historically accurate).
  2. Flight performance:
If you compare the climb rate up to 5.000 meters with current peers you might find out that just a few planes (like Pyoerremski, 109 G-6 or F8F) are able to get to co-alt before the merge - otherwise your team has to rely on fighters with interceptor spawn to push them low. Seeing that most of Air RB fights takes place at the sweet spot of Yak-3s (= 4 km alt and lower) the 4.3 BR is a joke as outperforms as a whole (speed, climb, turn) almost anything - (except Spits and JP planes) due to superior energy retention. A plane which saw combat in September / October 1944 should fight contemporary aircraft of the Luftwaffe (their sole opponent until August 1945); the currently way too low BR is just the result of poor pilots (similar to most US fighters).

It cant get better missiles, and 11.0 is a good change to test it at and see if it needs to go down further.

Why move up american F-14s? The only good F-14 is the IRIAF version with its ridiculous AMRAAM-level missiles

J35XS is not the only thing that needs to be moved down. A ton of vehicles do too xD

Ground RB, AMX-13 (FL11) : 4.3 > 4.0 (or even 3.7 like in the past)

This thing is not better than the M24 or the AMX-13 M24, while it’s BR is way too high.
Not only it’s barely usable now, it has NO line up at all, it is alone at 4.3 while everything else is either 3.7 or 5.0

The Yak-3 (e) needs to be moved up too. Probably to 4.3 (with the regular Yak-3).

One after another…

GRB Pantsir-S1 11.7 > 12.0
I think there’s basically no need to explain for this, because it’s the most threatening SPAA in the whole game. When maximum BR of ground vehicles go to 12.0, then why keep these top-tier SPAA at 11.7?

GRB, Sidam-25, 8.3 > 7.3

Sidam-25 is genuinely overtiered. It’s inferior to the Gepard in EVERY SINGULAR WAY, yet they are the same BR. Hell, it’s like the M163. Why does M163 receive a downtier, but the SIDAM-25 is still 8.3? It only gets a singular load of ammunition, it has an effective engagement range of ~2.2-2.3km, no radar, meh mobility, and can’t even engage tanks effectively with it’s stock belt.

Dude i dont care your opinion byeeeee.

All mig 21 bis they were in a good spot, there was no need to go to 11.0.
Same for mig23mf
f104S and S TAF remain 11.3, although they have inferior flight performance and armament to the mig21 bis.
f104S ASA should be 11.7 or maybe even 11.3 instead of 12.0.

(the problem with the Mig 21 was the F14 A, now that it went to 12.7 there was no need to move the Mig 21 to 11.0)

Less versatile than the Gepard 1A2, sure, but it is much harder to spot than the Gepard 1A2, and gets twice the number of stingers. I think the Gepard 1A2 is slightly better, because it can defend itself from ground vehicles, as well as close-range air targets, but the ozelot is not too bad.

The change from the F-14 A and IRIAF is purely the cry of beginners who buy premium top tier. As did the AIM-120 nerf shortly after it arrived. Congratulations to those involved, you managed to ruin yet another thing.

7.3 is way too low. I’d say 7.7 or 8.0 is reasonable.
