My proposed BR placements for American tanks

M26 Pershing all variants 6.0

They are exactly just like panthers it has no reason being at 6.7 where faces tiger twos and Jagtigers that point and click at a free kill

M4a3e2 jumbo 75.

Should move back down to 5.3 because now it sees more up tiers and can see tiger 2 h’s more often witch it can’t reliably pen anything even at close distance

M4 t26 5.7

This is pretty much the m36b2 but without heat and not open topped no reason it should be 6.0

M4a3e2 76w 6.0

Now that everything has been moved up I think this should actually go down as it has never been doing totally well and full up tiers or even at its own br.

T95 6.7

Honestly I’m only throwing out this idea because the Jagtiger is at 6.7 and yet is totally better than the t95 by almost every metric so if the Jagtiger goes up I wouldn’t mind the t95 staying at 7.0

M551 Sheridan 8.0

I am very surprised this thing is 8.3 when the df105 is 8.0. it’s not even a competition it’s way better more people would play the Sheridan if it was actually at a good br

T20 5.7

This thing should not even be close to 6.3 it is basically a M4A3 with a reverse gear. Can you imagine getting a slight up tier and seeing stuff you can’t even pen?

T25 6.0

Same thing as the t20. Basically Sherman armor with a reverse gear and without a stabilizer. Now if it had it stabilizer I’d say it would be fine at 6.3 but it doesn’t.

T54e2 7.3

Honestly this is one of the most terrible premium tank America has. It is awfully weak and very slow to reload and is overall very hard to play.

T95e1 8.0

The only thing this has going for it is it’s default round is the best round. Other than that it is not amazing to play. And seeing as the TO55 is 8.0 with a full stabilizer and is not being moved up in this current battle rating change I believe the t95e1 would not cause any damage to the lower BR threshold.

M247 Sergeant York 8.7

It makes no sense why this thing is so high while the gepard and all of its subjugaries are 8.3 with higher velocity guns and APDS belts for tank destroying and the Sergeant York just gets sap with a pen of a 50 cal. And seeing as its best shell is a tier four modification you’re not really going to be killing stuff with the default belts

Xm1-1 GM 9.0

Has no armor a mediocre gun no smoke or ESS and it’s main ability is speed which everything around that br is fast anyways so you’re going to die as soon as you reach the point you’re going to.

M60A3 TTS 8.7

I know it’s only at this BR because it gets thermals in a laser rangefinder but the Russian t55s get laser range finders and APS systems starting at 8.7 so I don’t see how the m60a3 will be game breaking

So there goes my proposed changes for the American tech tree. I would go to the other trees but I’ve only grinded out American ground. If you wish to question my changes feel free to reply and I’ll tell you exactly why and how I made those decisions. But no derogatory terms such as American Main, American weebabo yada yada. I want this to be civil argument not just a shouting match.

USA:

  • Unsure as to why the AGS has to go up 2 BR brackets after getting M833, maybe we’ll see how it goes. I still think it should be 10.7 if it gets M833.

  • The HSTV-L has had a terrible time with it’s ammo, it has absolutely NO spalling whatsoever. I would like to see one of two things done, either lower it’s BR to 11.0 OR Fix the ammo with the multiple bug reports that were brought through; This involves making the ammo have more pen, giving it HEVT shells and making it’s reload the noted .75 OR 1 second. I am also seeing that it should have the ability to lock onto planes.

  • I also think all the Apaches should be at MOST 11.3 as they are most definitely not the same or as good as the KA-52 or the others.

USSR:

  • The Strela I really think should be at least 10.0 as it is VERY hard to dodge the missiles from it and they have good range.

  • The 2S38 is still quite the menace at 10.0, I believe it could go to at least 10.3 or 10.7 and be just fine there as it’s a slightly less penning HSTV-L with more capabilities (So maybe even put it to 11.0).

  • Tanks like the T-90M, STRV 122A/B/B+, Leopard 2A7V and T-80BVM I believe should all go up to at least 12.0 BR as they are VERY good compared to the other tanks around the BR.

Overall, I really think there should be an up BR for tanks to AT LEAST 12.0 or 12.3 as they are getting crowded again with the lower BR tanks.

I just realized that with these changes, gaijin thinks the Char 25t, AMX-50, Somua SM and EBR deserve to be at the same BR as the fucking VIDAR.

You know, the vehicle with 3rd gen thermals, laser rangefinder and amazing shell velocity. Also known as one of the most busted vehicles in the game right now (which, oddly eough, is not getting a BR increase. I wonder why… )

Absolute insanity on gaijin’s part, the amount of disconnect is utterly baffling.

Type 99 getting a BR increase with no thermals/LRF while VIDAR doesn’t is absolutely hilarious, even if it going to 7.3 is an absolute nothingburger because Japan has no 7.0 anyways lolll

Sim BR bracket change need a review. 11.0 will get clapped by 11.7’s (yes, looking at you f14) and in the next rotation 10.7 will join the suffering also. It will not be fun nor balanced at all.

It was 7.7 when added, just like Object 268,both could go onto that BR again and be fine tbh,rather than seal club 5.7 tanks that cannot pen them frontally when in downtier aswell as their BR 6.7 tanks struggling when one bushes up the tanks.

It’s already so hard to play Su-25 at 10.0 it shouldn’t be 10.3

The T95 has now been moved to obsolescence status.
There was no need for that.

Or just add a prototype SEP V2 with DU. Not only Russia profits from prototypes (T92, T29/30/34, HSTVL, Ho Ri, AMX-50, …).

Exactly. Just remove them at this point.
T32E1 and M103 are just glass cannons with a long reload for example.

7.3 rarely gets uptiered, now even less with the french 7.7 going to 8.0.

F-14B probably needs to be watched closely though. If its still being a menace to 11/11.3s then it should move up.

Strela needs to go up to at least 10.0 even then it’d be better than every 10.0 AA vehicle even at 10.3 it would be one of the best(arguably the best) with its only downside being that it doesn’t have a radar, but with the Air Alert function you don’t even need a radar to spot targets you just use Air Alert every 10 seconds.

You seem to lack situational awareness. AIM-7 is the “MAIN” weapon of the F-15, and I confidently assert that it is nearly ineffective in top-tier scenarios. The only competitive weapons for the F-15 are the 4 9M missiles, and it lacks an HMD. Others can easily evade all AIM-7 missiles by simply rolling. Do you think something like that deserves to be ranked at 12.7? You are overestimating the F-15

Interesting changes, but I think some need some adjustments.

  1. Sagittario → 9.3: with the Ariete makes no sense when the Ariete is a massive upgrade over it.
  2. A6M5 Ko → 5.3: It was already overtiered at 5.0, it turns well but its way too slow for 5.0 let alone 5.3
  3. MiG-29G is missing from the list; it is comparable if not better than the MiG-29SMT, it should go up in battlerating aswell.
  4. F-15(all versions) should also see an increase in battlerating, they have one of the best airframes at top tier and even if they are slightly inferior to their opponents they should not be left at a lower battlerating.
  5. The F-16As should also see an increase to 12.3; they would be too oppressive in a downtier.

Addtional changes that require some consideration:

-F-14A and F-14B may need to be moved up aswell to further decompress.
-MiG-29 (9.12 & 9.13) may need to be moved up to 12.3 aswell, especially if they receive improvements to their currently poor flight model.

I definitely missed something, but this is all I could come up with. The rest of the changes look ok.

F-14B has all tools needed to be 12.3 together with F-16As - AIM-9L, AIM-7M and good FM. Giving it AIM-9Ms would put it closer to 12.7 category.

What else do you expect it to carry? F-15A has one of the best flight models in top tier with insane speed and acceleration as well as good turning performance and autoflaps. Its radar is great, AIM-9M is amazing and AIM-7M got some major buffs recently. This thing is easily comparable to other 12.7 jets and lack of HMD won’t change that.
