Why is the French getting screwed again? What happened to be decompression??? Why is the Char25t, Somua SM and AMX-50 going to 8.0 when it can now fight the undertiered Obj297 and tanks with stabs, APFSDS, a couple laser range finders, apds, how is this helping br decompression when you are undoing what was done. It makes no sense

The French change from 7.7 to 8.0 is very sad those tanks have a hard time on 7.7 on 8.0 they are unplayable :(

But it also should not be the only plane on its BR without a Helmet mounted Display
Especially with the comparable F 15s staying on their br.
It is performing well yes but the lack of this featurs shows its dark sides often enough.
imo they should let all mirages on their brs until the intrioduce 13.0.
Amazing penetration, 20pndr APDS has been buffed to be better than L7 APDS with a higher fire rate, 17pndr has penetration on par with KwK 42 and 90mm M3 (though less spalling obviously) but Fireflies for example are 1.0 lower BR than even Sherman 76s.
SU has an 8.3 gun (T-10M), 7.7 armour (T-54), and 7.7 mobility (T-54). Nearly 200mm LoS armour and HEAT-FS and APDS plus punchy 14.5mm, low profile, high mobility, and rangefinder.
T-44-100 has excellent mobility, great firepower, and great armour. It’s got the same firepower and mobility of the T-54 (1947) with a similarly protected hull and only a weaker turret. Compare that to the 6.7 T-44 with only an 85mm, the 100 is much more like a T-54 than it’s 85mm brother and certainly better than the Panther II or even M46.
There’s no reason not to, 6.7s listed stand up much better against MBTs than the 5.7s they fight currently. Vehicles with APDS or HEAT-FS don’t really have better armour than most 6.7s in general that other best 6.7s already have no trouble with. Also didn’t you just say the 122-54 with HEAT-FS and APDS shouldn’t go up?
As above, that the vehicles can still easily kill. The M103 and Conq have already by far the best firepower of the 7.7 heavies, along with some of the best armour or mobility. The Conq is also stabilized. Both are more equivalent to the T-10M than a Maus or IS-4, and both are much more powerful than the vehicles with the same hull at their same BR, the M48 and Caernavorn. Both of those have much, much lower firepower and much thinner turrets.
If you’re engaging 7.0/7.3 tanks straight from the front with the T20 then you’re already playing wrong.
The T20 has great mobility, fast reload and the stabilizer making it fantastic at peaking and flanking. I’ve played the T20 near exclusively at 6.3, and it did fine.

They will not be unplayable.
the autoloader with some penetration potential will still wrok here even if it is going to work worse here.
But they destroy some lineups for france with this change wich is sad to see.
France had such a nice live with 7.7 and now they start to rip pieces out of it again, starting with a premium of all things.
You are definetively overstating the capabilities of R-3R.
SPS-K without any changes simply does not have the performance nor weapons to be at 10.0.
Double rack for R-60s would solve the entire issue and would warrant 10.0 BR.
i believe that the french tree is ok as it is… there is no need for the ebr… with bad shell… and no stabilizer to move up… i use it and when i face 8.7 tanks i try to play the dead… imagine if you cant get out of the map… already … the same for the AMX-50 (TO90/930)… is bad idea to push the french players away like that… is terrible.!! or at least make the max uptier down tier at 0.6 … is more fair for all to do so…
or is the first wave of tanks that move up and finally we will se br 13… in game… so the 8.0 and 9.3 take a breath… at least…
but french tanks are ok not for that up brs…

This is fantastic and I am glad that my 39C is being separated from 11.3 (If I understood correctly), felt bad for the 23ML and F4 players.
Same time, it will be fantastic to see a complete separation between current 6.7 and 7.7 - honestly I do not think it is fair.
Now before someone bites my head off - I have 11.7 in 2 nations with level 100+ crews, I know what kind of damage is done by 7.7 to 6.7.
I felt that the MLD should get R-73s and get to 11.7/11.3 RB/SB bruh - to make the MLD players distinguished from the 70$ instant top tier-ator

How is 2S38 not worth an increase of BR when the closes equivalent, that being HSTV-L, sits at 11.3 without its AA capabilities?

Lot of these tank changes don’t make sense.
For the US tanks
you’re really raising the BR of the AGS from 10.3 to 11.0 over an increase in pen of 20mm? (M774 has 372 pen and M833 has 395)
Give it M900 if you’re going to move it to 11.0, it is going to be fighting much more heavily armored targets like the T-90M and the spall lined leopard 2’s. Historically speaking it would have used M900 anyway since the AGS competition finished in the early 90’s when M900 was issued into service.
Also if you’re adding M833 to anything it needs to also include the M1 at 10.3 to bring its pen closer to parity with its opposition which all pen in excess of 408mm and beyond and especially the XM8, meanwhile the Abrams gets 372mm of pen at best. When the Abrams was first added you had no problem giving it 415mm of pen and now you refuse to give it just 395?
The XM8 is a further refinement of the CCVL (which has M833) so again, the LATER DESIGN should have at least the same ammo as the EARLIER one.
(Now I’m not saying it should get it, but at most it would have M900 since it is a 90’s design after the CCVL won the competition over the AGS in the early 90’s.) food for thought I guess. maybe if we ever get the 2018 version of the M8, that can have the M900 round.
Why is the T20 going to 6.3? It has the same gun and ammo loadout of the 5.0 Sherman. the PANTHERS are 6.0, there is no way in hell the T20 is more lethal than a panther. Additionally the T-34-100 is 6.3 and has a much more superior gun. leave the T20 at 6.0.
For the French tanks.
They are fine at 7.7, sending them to 8.0 will just undo the BR decompression EVEN more than what has already been done, the issue was that they were fighting tanks with APFSDS, stabilizers, laser range finders and sometimes thermals and composite armor. Now you are making them fight that again?
The advancements in tech from 7.7-9.0 are extreme and need a more smoothed-out gradient, not compressed more which YOU PROMISED you would expand and have done nothing but the opposite, you’ve just shifted things around to the point where they are compressed right back to where they used to be.
Do you not remember the reason that the 1960’s tanks went to 8.0 and not the 1950’s French tanks? Again this is why we need to move everything above 8.0 further up and we need to expand the max BR cap to 13.0 (or at the very least 12.7) to accommodate this BR decompression.
We’re just falling right back into the problems this game had before 2023. Basically 2 steps forward and 1.9 steps back.
INCREASE THE BR CAP FOR GROUND VEHICLES, PLEASE.
This undoing of everything good you’ve done over the last year is incredibly frustrating as a long time player.

R-3R is an incredible missile. Despite its overload, it annihilates in head-ons. Nothing at any sort of altitude is safe and things on the deck are easy pickings for a MiG. And you still haven’t acknowledged the 9.3s and 9.7s that the SPS-K massively outperforms.
APU-60-2 would be balanced as well but completely ahistorical, though so too are R-13M1s to be fair.
Nope, they use totally different cannons. T10M is much much better.

I against the T20 BR changes but lets be honest, T20 is by far more deadly in most of the maps than Panthers. Panthers are superior in long range and Gaijin is destroying all long range maps, so in most of the maps the T20 is much better choice due his movility and stabilizer.

Mirage 2000s are not over-BR’d and have never been over-BR’d.
Mirage 2000 5F for example is just 2 missiles less than F-16C while performing just as well on its airframe.
My performance in Mirage 2000 5F is well above average for fighters, thus it’s holding my hand more than others.
