If the information about the specifications of a tank is confidential, should the development team design a tank that is stronger than the others? If it is confidential, there should at least be a balance between the specifications of the tanks. The Merkava 4M tank, which everyone knows is a modern tank, definitely does not have weak armor! If you do not have accurate information about the armor specifications of a tank, at least do not ignore the other features that are logical, like the one I mentioned. According to the turret armor design of the Merkava 4, it should have the ability to deflect bullets or at least reduce the power of the bullet penetrating into the armor and cause less damage to the tank crew! and the last thing thats not logical to me and beyond the philosophy of putting engine in that suppose to add more armor but IT DIDNT DO ITS JOB. Mirage 2000C-S5 going up when the C-S4 stays at 11.7 makes no sense, they are about as on par as you can get.

Definitely, either move up CS4 to 12.0, or lower CS5 to 11.7 as well. With the new BR brackets in sim, 11.7 is becoming the new meta and we can’t have the best jet at 11.7 (along with F14) be an unattainable event vehicle. It’s also super unfair to the French mains who grinded the CS5, and hence avoided the CS4 event vehicle since they were essentially identical

You’re exactly right. And 7.7 France isn’t the only line-up that clubs in down-tiers. Any objectively ‘good’ line-up will club in a down-tier, yet somehow France is the focus. Nerfing this line-up into the ground doesn’t balance anything, it just builds resentment in French players, and for the most part will take the joy out of playing the nation for a lot of players.

I think Gaijin has this regular purge in BR and it seems that the player base who are getting tired across the board with BR, Map Making, Map rotation and maybe CAS issues are finally saying “Hang on lets challenge this habit of shifting BR and destroying line ups and vehicle effectiveness.”

Does it matter in game play terms if an old vehicle is 4.3,4.7 or 5BR ? When moving it matters so much in regard to line ups and the ability to even field one in some nations?

Are some players rebelling against the same ol same ol every time. Another Line up destroyed and another nation unplayable.

Just stop doing it unless a vehicle is recent and genuinely out of place.

Even at 10.0 it is still extremely competitive. There is no logic behind increasing the Type 81 by 1.0, but only increasing the Strela by .4. Both of these were equally as overpowered for their associated BR, arguably the Strela being more overpowered in it’s associated BR because of the lack of aircraft with flares

Since i saw a few people whining about the 2S38.

It should not be moved up because its already mediocre were it is. Reasons:

While it has no armor and all the crew is conveniently lined up to be one-shot, It DOES NOT have more speed than MBTs as it rarely reaches the km/h that is on its stat card.
So we have a paper IFV with the speed of an MBT, crew lineup like sardines, its APFSDS is very bad at post pen spalling as it is affected by the HSTVL/Otomatic nerf of the past.
It cant flank and take forward positions before MBTs, cant pen MBTs frontally and even if one gets on the flank of enemy tanks, due to the caliber nerf one gonna have to pump a good few shots into the target before it goes boom.
Same with APHE, as i have experienced against Chinese mbt’s. I got on the flank, placed the aphe right under the turret, and the post pen, despite being APHE was the equivalent of a wet fart.

Begleitpanzer, Swedish 40mm IFV’s are all better than the 2S38 and i dont see any of you complaining about them !
Thus this 2S38 hysteria is not more than “i got killed pls nerf” bandwagoning by people that dont have it.

Well, I never played the strela but I always bully them in the mangustas, so I am not sure if they are a huge threat. It is a pain in the ass to deal with them in fixed wings, but it seems like wiping out AAs with hellfires then get onto fixed wings is the plan

I saw the 2S38 as more of an annoyance than actual threat, they should be like 10.3 but anywhere higher is silly. I do dislike the tank because I own the OTOMATIC, but I never had a lot of trouble dealing with these things.
It is more of a frustration when getting killed by these things. If the 2S38 is a TT vehicle, say, foldered with the 2S25M, it will receive a lot less backlash.

Moving the OF-40 up with the current max ground br of 11.7 is terrible as the jump from 8.0 to 8.3 essentially gives every mbt a stab except france. And moving the leo back down also isnt a good idea as it would be the same br as the M48

I like that idea but then 10.3s would be fighting 11.7s. Perhaps if they received improved ammunition, it would work better. The M1 and 2A4 at least are missing their primary historical rounds so I’ll add that.

Gaijin good changed BR for F9F-5 Panther and not suffer in Air RB

@Stona_WT I hope gaijin consider reduce Venom FB.4 to 8.3 BR for Air AB & Air RB and change to 8.7 in Air SB, and gaijin won’t forget this

BMP-1’s main armament is 9M113 ATGM and 2A28 is just secondary to that (unless you are stock) and using those 2 you can send a projectile every 3s. The konkurs ATGM has 500mm of pen where 2a28 grom has only 300mm. And because pbv 501 doesnt have any other armament like BILL or RB52 it’s capabilities and rate of fire are limited. So if you compare pbv 501 to russian BMP-1 it has lower fire rate, lower hit probability (because konkurs is SACLOS) and much lower penetration.[quote=“OliverXRed, post:1107, topic:67713, full:true”]

It is a BMP-1 at a whole BR lower. I mean, normally the cannon is also the main armerment of the BMP-1, and that performs very well with that cannon at 7.7, however somehow this sits at 6.7, with exactly the same cannon. It just doesn’t make sense why this is so low of a BR.

This thing should not sit this low with its LRF, if the engagement is further that 800m, is is most likely tank to win the fight, since it doesn’t need to range the shots to be able to score a first hit.

HEAT-FS is not the best ammo at 8.0 because its br when ERAs starts to show and because it doesnt have stabilistaion the cannon is not ready to fire for that 2s so that makes it to being exposed for far longer than needed so it cant hide effectively. And engagementsover 600m are rare and due to recent changes to maps it even rarer. And when I’m playing this thing I would see it at 7.0.

Very good mobility, and a cannon that oneshots if it pens, and if it doesn’t it can shoot very quickly again. It is also quite small, and if it can get into a flanking possition, it can kill a lot of tanks, before they even have time to react.

The problem with sav is literally because its at 3.7. IMO its 3.7 capable, any higher would make it useless with 95mm of pen, but at 3.7 people are quite new to the game so people who spent money and have this hidden premium are usually much more experienced and there are countless of times when I baited new players to peek me by abusing autoloader. So with that logic lets put BT-5 at 2.3 because it can reign havoc when used right. same with sherman III/IV, no gun port is just skill issue, most new players at this br just shoot tanks and not looking for weak spots

No it doesnt its just like the suggestion that I mentioned, it seems like veteran bias, usually people who have those vehicles are veterans who know how to use this thing at br where people dont know what are they doing (pretty much why a6m5 ko going up in br), so in the end it seems like its super good and OP but in reality if that player would take any other plane like p51 it would get more kills than it did in p59. And when new/seasoned player lay hands on it, he probably will get only 1 kill, so there is nothing to write story about.

To the rest of your suggestion I can’t make an argument and/or I think the same

ASG on 11.0 is totall nonsense(it will be soo bad!) even with 833 its kinda poor shell tho, and what about CCVL it will stay on 10.0?? With 833 TOO??? F15 staying si joke too… And ofc im not talking about destroying Japan AAs again…

They can be for sure but that’s true of any vehicle, air or ground. The Tram and A10 are the easiest things to kill, Super slow and not that dangerous unless your team is lacking in AA support. I main Russia and if there in the air it’s a free kill. Unlike the faster, lower flying jets they can be a pain to get rid of

As an arcade player let me write my opinions on some of the planned changes for Air Arcade.

A6M5 Ko should stay at 4.7 or the A6M5 from the tech tree should get a BR raise too. But i don’t think Zero’s should be that high.
I compared the A6M5 Ko to the tech tree A6M5, and here what i found out when both are fully researched:

• Identical guns and ammo count
• The turn times are identical
• The Ko variant has a very slightly better rate of climb (about 1 meter per second)
• The Ko variant is slower by about 20 kph compared to the tech tree A6M5
• Both can carry some bombs
• None of them has armor or self sealing fuel tanks.
  So why is it going up by 0.3 when both planes are 95% identical? Please don’t justify this by your “statistics”, the tech tree aircraft is nearly a perfect clone of the premium, yet it does not have a planned BR change. Tl;Dr raise the BR of both the A6M5 and A6M5 Ko or even better, don’t raise them at all.

Ki-100-II:
Similar case. The premium variant is going up, but the tech tree Ki-100 stays at 4.7.
Either raise both or leave them be. Both planes are again very similar to each other when fully researched.

• Same weapons, number of ammo and bombloads.
• The Ki-100-II has a worse turn time and climb rate compared to the Ki-100 I
• The Ki-100-II is only 10 kph faster than the Ki-100 and according to the stat card attains this speed at an altitude of 10,000 meters, meanwhile the tech tree Ki-100 should reach this speed at 6,000 meters.
  I don’t see a reason they should be 0.3 BR points apart from each other. Either leave the Ki-100-II at 4.7 or raise both.

Ki-43-II: I agree with this change. The BR should have been raised a long time ago.
The Ki-43-II in the hands of an skilled player can be a real menace. Just remember that there is also a Ki-43 in the Chinese Tech Tree and a Ki-43-II in the american tre. Both the Japanese Ki-43-II and Chinese Ki-43-III are nearly identical, with the Ki-43-III being 2 kph faster and climbing faster by about 1 meter per second. The same guns, the same turn times, only serving under diffrent flags. The Ki-43-II in the US tree is a premium variant of the japanese Ki-43-II and has identical stats. TL;DR The Chinese Ki-43-III and American premium Ki-43-II should also be at 2.3

Fokker D.XXI (Sweden): I’m not so sure about this change. The plane is painfully slow already when uptiered, and remember that when it will get uptiered on it’s new 2.3 BR, it could be about 200 kph slower than some foes it can encounter at 3.3. Maybe just rise the repair cost and lower the rewards instead of changing the BR?

J2M2 and J2M4: The J2M should stay at 5.0 and the M4 can go to 5.3.
The M4 variant has 4 cannons and is faster than the M2, so i think it’s okay to put it on 5.3, but the M2 is slower, albeit with a better climb rate, but has only two cannons supplemented by two weak 7 mm machine guns. Also the M2 has only 100 rounds per gun, while the M4 has at least 150.
Tl;Dr J2M2 should stay at 5.0, J2M4 can go up to 5.3

Is it because of the energy retention blahblahblah that no one in fact uses except when they’re in a dogfight at the end of the game that funnily enough i’ve just seen a couple of F-15s to get to that point of the game.

I see that you’ve brought my stats to the table, im not ashamed at all of them as i assume that im an average player. I started playing again at June 2023 and i have no intentions to leave anytime soon.

thats the epitome of a basic argument. Now looking at your stats:

It seems that you can hold up pretty well, you’re a good player and im not discrediting your skill at any point and time, though i have multiple points to do, the first is that you’re so arrogant thats actually discoraging to keep a civilized debate around the plane, and second and most is that im certainly suprised that you have not only a conveniently larger and exponential amount of stats in the Su-27 than the F-15, you also have a better K/D ratio in the flanker.

So it looks for me that you want the F-15s to be the plane that is not up to your favorite new toy. you get here and do tedtalks about the missiles not being that bad and having the 2nd best flight model, only behind the Gripen! —without HMD—.

Talking about conflicts of interest, Gaijin has the final word, and even if they do think like you and the plane turns out to be really good, they will look at their database and the playerbase performance. If all the variants have terrible stats, they won’t raise the plane to 12.7, it is really simple as that. Like the M4K, the F-15 is not the most friendly plane to the current 12.3 and future 12.7, and its really unfair to get the Mirage4k moved in the first place because of their stat-based balancing, both planes should stay at 12.3.
