It’s better in my opinion.
It has 6 all aspect aams, and a much more powerful engine.
This is my console account… where I don’t play as often and I do so purely for fun. On my PC account, I have TT US, USSR, Germany, China and Israel.
So let me get this straight. No J-7D going up in BR despite it being one of the most broken aircraft in air RB currently. The J35XS going down even further even though 10.7 was already plenty, and the SU25BM going to 11.0 to terrorize flareless 10.0 jets with IRCCM missiles. And just for good measure you moved the Mirage 2000CS5 to 12.7 but are keeping the CS4 (AKA the one you have to pay for) at 12.3… there’s plenty more garbage to talk about here but this might just be one of the most brutal and blatantly biased BR changes in the games history. Yet another classic BR change by gaijin, and need I even remind that things like the Leopard 2a7 and Ariete are still the same BR in ground? What a joke

7D gets the best rear aspect missiles in the game though. The R-60’s are incredibly easy to flare

Maybe they changed it, but a few weeks after it released, I was supercruising on the deck. Maybe they changed the thrust since then.
AB/RB, T-62 (and Tiran 6), 8.7 > 8.3.
Reasoning: it became evident to me that the T-62 does not cut it anymore at 8.7 once I played the Israel 8.7 line-up, with the Tiran 6 amongst several Magachs and Sho’t Kal Gimel. Worse reload, worse depression, worse dart (you either have a lot straight pen with terrible angled pen, or mediocre of both), no rangefinder, no ERA, worse gun handling; all for slightly better power to weight and a small profile.
Ideally there should be a new BR created in the 8.0 - 9.0 area as there are a lot more cases of bad balance and inconsistency. A lot of tech improvements happen in this BR bracket, where 8.0 are infinitely worse than 8.7, as those usually get the combination of stabilizers, rangefinders and darts while 8.0 have 1 of those or even 0.
Ground RB, M109G (Germany, Italy) 6.0 → 6.3
Not really overperforming per se, but this makes their BR consistent with the functionally identical M109A1 and Rochev that currently sit at 6.3. While the Rochev and M109A1 have a longer barrel, the shell velocity is still the exact same 684m/s as what the M109G has. These tanks all have the same exact selection of shells available. If anything, the M109G is better than the M109A1 and Rochev in game because of the easier to conceal cannon.
Perhaps the shell velocity of the M126E1 shouldn’t be the exact same as the M185, but that would be a bug report. Perhaps 6.0 is fine for the M109G and the Rochev and M109A1 should drop down to match, but I would need to make a second post to say that.
R60M’s are garbage I’d much rather 4 Pl-5B/Magic 1’s and take the lower BR along with some extra CM’s. Theres no reason this should be 10.7 when the J7E is 11.3

Exactly. But I only say this because Gaijin likes to balance a decent chunk of planes due to their radar. Even though, there is absolutely no use for such radar.

Go ahead and dogfight a MiG-21. Hell, even a MiG-23. It will still lose to them in a proper dogfight. Yes it is lighter. Yes it is more maneuverable. But it still loses.
All I’m literally trying to do is to get the F-4F Early out of 10.7 hell. No flare less aircraft should be higher than 10.3.
If 10.3 is a better resolution for its BR change, then ok, I’m fine with it. Just get the damn F-4F Early out of 10.7.

It takes a while to slow down but it doesnt have a positive TWR and cant supercruise at any alt (im 95% sure)
