Never had that. Could only fit guided or unguided bombs on that pylon. its not until the Gripen E that it got A2A on that Hardpoint
so why not bring it down a notch as well to 9.7? never said they have to be the same br

I would love to have a Gripen at 12.3 with 9-Ls.
Which is imo how it should have come.
No HMD, Aim-9Ls and maybe no BOL at the same BR and in the same Update as the F-16C. With the Gripen C then coming in the december update.
This is a TERRIBLE idea, the J35D would essentially turn into an F-1 that turns substantially better at a much better BR. Even the F-1 as it stands is absolutely amazing and possibly overpowered.
Gaijin just cares so much about Sweden.
The Draken flight model is terrible.

Because the J35XS has a better loadout than the 11.0 F-104s, and it shouldn’t be a full BR lower.
And the J35D might be a bit good at 9.7 as well.
The Draken has horrendous energy retention, and horrible acceleration.

Considering the MIG-21SMT is going to 10.3 the J35XS should also go to 10.3
The MIG-21SMT outperforms the J35XS in every single aspect.
And it doesn’t deserve 9.7, especially when the J35A with only 9Bs is going to be 9.3.
2 wrongs don’t make a right.
It’s too good to be shoved at as low of a BR as Snail is placing them. They should be as follows and no lower:
J 35A: 9.7 (it’s not a 9.3 plane by any stretch)
J 35D: 10.0 (10.3 is too high and it’s comparable to F-1)
J 35XS: 10.7 (6 AIM-9P, some countermeasures. This has the same kit as an 11.3 starfighter.)

MiG-21SMT moving down is a laughably bad choice by Gaijin. It’s already one of the best 10.7s. “But J-7D is 10.7!!!” Yeah and it’s undertiered.

It cant supercruise so idk where this came from
I agree on the ariete on staying where its at as it does have the best dogfighting capabilities and can easily dodge most missiles it faces. only gripe i have would be ammo capacity and no ap ammo
guys it has to go down to 9.3 so it wont suffer fighting 10.3s in a full uptier :)))))))

We need decompression. I dont think the J-7D should be 10.7 but here we are. At least the SMT shouldnt be the same br as the 7D

IMO, it is a diabolical take of Gaijin for sending J35A to 9.3 while keeping Milan on 9.7.
Milan itself is also not a bad plane (just uncomfortable compared to Mirage 3C friends on 10.0), though.
Compared to its nearest counterparts, J35A on 9.3 will fly like a UFO.
