Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025

Namer going up despite being garbage and still not having its correct armor lol

No, not exactly. The R-77 is closer but it cannot do that as well. The derbys has pretty bad speed bleed and tends to lose more speed in a loft, denying its potential for long-range kills. They are decent close-up but stuff like MICA and PL-12 is not much worse yet are BVR capable.

My mistake, but this makes it even funnier because the IRIAF abusers got to abuse a 12.3 IRIAF (which is like, one of the strongest and most overpowered vehicles I can think of in recent history) but are still complaining.

Same BR as T-2K? That makes zero sense.

sagittario maybe, but ariete hell naw! you cant put the ariete at 9.0, its easily the best subsonic airframe in the game and its 9.3 for a reason.
also you cant compress 8.0-9.0 even more, its suffocating there already. the solution is to increase max br and decompress upwards or make .7 the max br difference.

I’m not saying it needs to be at a lower BR, but it for sure doesn’t need a higher one. Even fully spaded it it is not going to be competitive against AMRAAMS.

@Stona_WT Thank you very much for adopting and keeping informed about the ranking in simulation battles.

Everything we said adds up together.

100%a agree with you ,sagittario, sure but the ariete is perfectly fine at 9.3

It does, because fakours are too good to face 11.7 at all or 12.0 that often,it’s really that simple. It’s ok to let the IRIAF go to irrelevancy if the alternative is it dominating still and ruining 50+ vehicles time

Vehicle in question: F-104S.ASA in ARB/ASB
BR: unchanged, receives 4xAIM-9L/I as researchable modification
It was one of the most absurd top tier. Seeing how SALSA players plays it to its absolute limit, it might as well stay there and get the historical IRCCM missiles.

The only thing slightly OP about it is the 4 Farkours.
Literally the only thing you have to do to defeat it is turn 90 degrees to the side.
That’s actually it.
It also then only gets rear aspect IR missiles, easily defeatable by 1 flare.

You really think this should fly against the top tiers of the other nations…?

It makes even less sense to face super maneuverable missiles with IRCCM when it has no flares

Hey you gotta give the yak-141 some credits, it was decent for like…2 patches

Joke? They are not adding 9Ms to a 12.0 fighter and not moving it. The only reason it’s 12.0 in the first place is 9Ls.

You really love talking about Bias and crap, but this is some wild denial.

Vehicle: F-20a
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 12.7 ----> 12.3
Reason: with BR change of the F-16a to 12.3, the F-20a with worse performance then the F-16a and the same 6x aim-9L loadout or 2x aim-9L and 2x aim-7f. while having worse performance then other f16s with 2x radar missiles and 4x aim-9L, i see a reason to lower its BR based on other airframes with better performance and loadouts at 12.7BR.

Alright since I didn’t use the correct template…

Air Realistic Battles, F-4F Early. 10.7 > 10.0.

Reasoning:

Keep in mind that this was an event plane worth ~$133 USD in the Marketplace (at the time of writing this.)

A $133 aircraft at 10.7 you get:

  • No Countermeasures at all.
  • No radar missiles at all.
  • No bullpups or Mavericks.
  • Only 2 Aim-9Es (10G missiles) at stock.
  • Aim-9Js (18G missiles) aren’t available until research rank IV.
  • Slightly better maneuvering (although, you are still a flying brick.)
  • Same, if not a downgraded F-4E radar that has little use due to the F-4F Early not having any Radar Missiles (Sparrows).
  • Stock grinding this thing is abysmal, as you are stuck with 2 Aim-9Es, and no countermeasures. You are easily susceptible to any missile higher than 10G max overload; especially R-60Ms and Aim-9Ls, which can be found very commonly at 10.7.
  • Seriously, a $133 aircraft being this bad is incredibly sad. The value it has does not reflect on its poor performance due to its current BR placement.
  • The F-4C (planned to become 10.0) is identical in terms of performance with the F-4F Early. Only differences is that the F-4C gets the ability to use Sparrows and it is slightly heavier. Both aircraft are identical, and the fact that the F-4C is getting bumped down AGAIN to 10.0 is a huge slap in the face for the F-4F Early users.

The F-4F Early has HUGE potential to become a really good aircraft but it is heavily overshadowed by its legacy BR of 10.7. And for a price of $133 USD, it’s extremely disappointing for those who bought it, or those who spent hours and hours grinding for it back when the Future Technology Event was live.

Gaijin, please consider this. It’s the only hope for the F-4F Early. The F-4C gets the proper BR placement but the F-4F Early stays suffering. Again, please consider a possible BR change for this aircraft.

Thank you.

Vehicle: T25
Mode: GRB
Suggeston: 6.3 → 6.0 or 5.7
When will another look be taken at the T25? It was moved to 6.3 because of the stabilizer but no longer has it. Currently its just outright worse in almost every metric outside of reverse speed when compared to same BR counterparts and even many tanks at lower BRs than itself.

I’m aware.

If your RWR detects it. If your plane can turn 90 degrees in 5 seconds (because sometimes thats all the warning you are given) and after all that, you were still put in a much worse position for the F-14 IRIAF to capitalize on if he isnt dumb because you are purely defensive.

I really think I’m willing to kill this to save the BR bracket overall.
