I really can’t get why Gaijin doesn’t decompress the whole freakin game.
I know a broken balance makes them have an extra paycheck in the short term.
But in the long term, they will end up slowly killing the game eventually.
Brackets with Korean War-era jets are dead. [7.0-8.7] Thanks to the dumb, ridiculous F-86/MiG-15 buff, which they only considered player statistics. playing jets which are not produced in Soviets or USA is nothing but self-harming nowadays.
I think Gaijin wants to see more and more brackets dying.

4 AIM-9P with Phantom fuselage on 10.0 feels like a diabolical take.
I like dynamic BRs, but the F-14s are only “controversial” because Gaijin artificially made it that way. if they were correctly implemented from the start, they wouldn’t have been an issue.

8.0-9.0 is quite good in a vaccum, and even 8.0-9.3 isn’t awful if you exclude F-104s and the Ayit.
It’s 9.3-10.0, and 7.0-8.0 that are not very good right now.

Now that you mention it, lower tier planes like the Harrier, with advanced weaponry but sub par performance would greatly benefit from dynamic battle ratings.
The AMX A1A, A10C, SU39, etc.
Plus they could start to add a slew of modern light attack aircraft and they would not feel useless/overpowered at launch, depending on the BR, like the Aermacchi M-346 with Python 5’s for example.

going to say that hard disagree. i decided to play the sea vixen and can conclude that if you are a good player with it you can get kills easily. the sea vixen is fitting well on the br of 9.0 and is one of my favorite aircraft there, performing well in good hands
just because it doesn’t fit your playstyle does not mean it’s battlerating should go down. just get good with it and youll do as well as i do.

yeah, its struggling hard at 9.0, i decided to play it again yesterday, i stopped playing it after i had to face magics, either make it 9.0 worty by making the red tops get their old G pull back or give it actual usable ground ordinance, i like to call the red tops “red bottoms” bc how mid they are now
Red tops were all aspect so if they were given that I think it would do better

The only reason Sea Vixen performs well at 9.0 is because people have a problem with dodging a 12g missile.
Besides, your stats are pretty mid tbh, nothing to show off.

i already showed you that the aircraft is fine at 9.0 by having a 3:1KD+ ratio. If you perform badly with the aircraft it is a playstyle and skill issue. There is no problem with the sea vixen’s br placement if i can do well with it and if you can’t, the only difference between us is skill using the sea vixen.
3:1kd ratio for something that is “trash at it’s br” is clearly something.
yes the sea vixen is a support fighter, you target enemies with bad energy states and enemies who are busy engaging your friendlies. people clearly have a problem with sea vixen being a support fighter. this is why all of you are doing bad with it, gamestyle incompatibility.
And what exactly is a Sea Vixen going to do vs a AV-8A or F-4C. It is dead in an uptier. Period

They would be fine if they had their IRL all-aspect ability. But artifiically limited to rear-aspect. Good luck ever gettng reliable shot oppotunities. Especailly against the supersonics you will constantly face now. And if it has Flares. you might as well use AGM-12s not Red Tops
