Planned Battle Rating Changes for February 2025

Ground RB, T-62. 8.7 > 8.3. No laser rangefinder + No 12.7mm gun + no additional armor + slower reload than T-55A, it should be in same BR with T-55A

Also comparing with 122TM, looks like theres no reason for T-62 to be 8.7

Its an OF-40 chassis so not terrible but i’d take a centauro one any day

At least with the centauro chassis if you get penned the engine tanks the whole damage (unless you get shot in the turret)

Plus it looks amazing

LOWER THE PREMIUM AMX
I cant scream this enough.

Air realistic battles, R2Y2 (all versions). 8.0 > 7.3. These jets have poor performance in almost all aspects compared to almost all aircraft at their br.

Frfr, it suffers at 11.3

I doubt that they will be touched now that they are being removed

Mode: Grb
Vehicle: Japanese uh-1b helicopter
Br change: 7.7 >7.3
Reason: it only gets 38 basic rockets, has no alternative weapons, no turret. At 7.7, this means with any rlevant ground br of its br or greater it will almost always face full radar aa, and therws no helicopter in the line with better gear until 9.3, and with just 38 rockets even pve is a nightmare to grind

Mode: Ground Realistic Battles

Vehicle: A-129 International (p)

Change: 11.0 → 10.7

This helicopter lacks both in offensive and defensive capabilities compared to its production counterpart, the A129CBT.
The International version does not have AA capabilities since it lacks any sort of AA missiles and it only has a 12.7mm gun instead of a 20mm cannon.

The International has no flares and therefore cannot defend itself from incoming missiles (both from SPAAs and aircrafts).

It clear that there is a noticeable difference between these two models and the BR cannot be the same between the two.

Mode: ARB
Vehicle: AMX A1
Br change: 11.3 > 10.7
Reason: the only reason this airplane is this high is because of its Piranha missiles, that are aim9b seeker with 35g pull, they are almost totally useless and its unrealistic to continue to put this plane against 12.3 airplanes.

Vehicle: Mirage F1C-200
Gamemode: Air Realistic & Air Simulator
BR Change: 12.0 → 11.7

Reason:
The Mirage F1C-200 is currently overtiered at 12.0 due to critical flaws in its weapon systems, flight performance, and BR compression effects. These limitations make it non-competitive against 12.0-13.0 jets and even underperforming compared to some 11.3-11.7 contemporaries.

1. Missile System Deficiencies

  • Super 530F SARH Missiles:

    • Pulse-Doppler Radar Incompatibility: The Cyrano IV radar operates in pulse mode, making Super 530F highly vulnerable to chaff. Even a single chaff deployment can break lock, rendering these missiles unreliable against aware opponents.
    • Guidance Logic Flaws: Unlike AIM-7F or R-24R (CW/Pulse-Doppler hybrids), Super 530F lacks speed-gate filtering. This causes frequent loss of tracking against maneuvering targets, even without countermeasures.
    • Limited Utility: Players widely consider Super 530F a “trap” due to its high risk of exposing the aircraft during guidance. Most pilots abandon SARH usage, relying solely on Magic 2 missiles.
  • Magic 2 Limitations:

    • Quantity & Range: With only two Magic 2 missiles (20G limit, 2km effective range), the F1C-200 is outgunned by contemporaries like the F-4S (6× AIM-7F + 2× AIM-9H) or MiG-23ML (4× R-60M).
    • IRCCM Weakness: Magic 2’s flare resistance is inconsistent. Front-aspect shots are easily defeated by flares, forcing pilots to rely on rear-quarter engagements.

2. Flight Performance Disadvantages

  • Engine & Energy Retention:

    • Thrust-to-Weight Ratio (0.76): Inferior to the F-4S (0.96) and MiG-23ML (0.85). Sustained climbs or acceleration after maneuvers leave the F1C-200 vulnerable to energy-focused opponents.
    • Speed Decay: Instantaneous turn capability is negated by rapid energy loss. Even a single defensive maneuver can bleed 400+ km/h, making recovery impossible against supersonic jets.
  • Radar & Sensor Deficits:

    • No PD Mode or ACM Lock: The Cyrano IV radar cannot track targets in ground clutter, forcing pilots to manually scan. This is catastrophic in 12.0+ lobbies dominated by look-down/shoot-down radars.
    • Outdated RWR: Missile launch warnings lack directional data and fail to distinguish between radar types (e.g., CW vs. pulse), leaving pilots unable to prioritize threats.

3. BR Compression & Matchmaking Impact

  • Pseudo BR of 12.7: With no 12.3 bracket, the F1C-200 consistently faces 12.3-13.0 jets (su33, f14A,su27,j11) where its technological gap becomes insurmountable. At 11.7, it would primarily face 11.0-12.0 aircraft, aligning with its true capabilities.

Conclusion

The Mirage F1C-200’s current BR placement contradicts its actual combat effectiveness. A reduction to 11.7 would mitigate its technological disparity while preserving its niche as a high-speed interceptor with limited BVR capability.

Helicopters
Vehicle: both Bo 105 helicopters

They should be grouped up as one instead of forcing you to grind very similar helicopters one after another. There is barely a change from they 1st to the 2nd as only the engine and arnament slightly change.

Mode: Helicopter PvE
Proposal: reduce br to not be in the same bracket as top tier helicopters like the Apache and KA-50

Reason: The Bo 105s carry 4km missiles which is barely an increase next to the ones the helicopter before it uses, an upgrade of about 1km. You are now forced to use these in a br where the top tier helicopters, who can not only carry a vastly higher amount of missiles, fire missiles upwards of 8km range, often laser lockable targeting with vastly better Zoom in cameras, which is barely giving the bo 105 a competing chance which results in it often being last in any team. Reducing it to fly with the bracket the Huey helicopter is inside will most certainly make it more useful in that mode as it would then fly on about equal terms to what else is in the bracket of the team.

M1A1
11.3–>11.3
Remove 5 second reload: The 5 second reload on this abrams makes the IPM1 all but useless since it has the same reload and way less firepower in comparison
Another option would be move the IPM1 down but not in this post

F-16C Barak-II

Ground RB:12.3-/12.3

This Aircraft doesnt have access to F&F munitions like other F-16’s hence it shouldnt be raised to same br.

Solution: Either keep it at same BR or add AGM65D’s to Barak-II arsenal.

Yes please, i am desperate for Israeli ordinance but in the mean time mavericks on our top tier jets is a step in the right direction, no top tier CAS jet should be limited to paveways only and bumped up in br

You mean like the Sd.Kfz 234/2, which already sits at 3.7?
The T18E2 should also be 3.7, better gun, stronger Armor. .50 cal proof.

Gaijin does not care about the Simulator players for some reason! I mean they are changing BR ratings, why not put a little more effort and make simulator battles better? It is just something i can never understand!

i truly dont care about anything you say or anyone else that uses the term " u.s main " you people do nothing but whine about everything, but somehow stay silent on the eurofighter dodging missiles or the brimstones KH spam at top tier. , but the second the u,s tech tree gets anything remotely close and makes you brain dead whiny cry babies actually play the game instead and stops you from flying in a straight line, you cry nerfs. You do it to the F104, you say it about the F8U Crusaders, and the F-14s.

so… you’re trying to nerf the m1a1… while keeping it at the same BR? what?
