IRIS-T can be defeated by simple oversaturation, once a plane starts spamming AGMs the IRIS-T SLM’s missiles just lose track, and then if you spam flares and pull away immediately there’s no way it will ever shoot you down. Its large size despite the tiny ass maps does not help it in hiding
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
Vehicle: JH-7A
BR Change: 12.3 > 11.7/11.3 (if posible)
Reasoning:
compared to fellow br12.3 aircraft where gen4 aircraft have much better flight performance or upgraded gen3 aircraft, JH-7A is very underpowered and does not have long-range missiles to fight aircraft in br13.0 or br 13.3. And for fellow aircraft in br 12.3, mig21 bison has r73 which has irccm. this aircraft does not have a single irccm missile in its br with a flight model that cannot compete with aircraft such as f16a block 10 or f18a. Even the kit JH-7A almost the same with F5E-FCU that have 4 fox 2 misil (with 2 pl8 almost compareable to phyton 3 and pl5c that all aspect version from pl5b) with worst flight model and have good but useless pd radar (because it does’nt have fox1 misil)
nerfing Tiger 2’s mobility is dumb.
they already have bad mobility, who’s the one that though this was a good idea?
Glad to hear that the G6 needed it
it is better in some aspect but i still think some adjustments are needed considering it sits at the same BR of the Bakan
Fine, i can see the mistakes with the post since that one’s copy+pasted from the April BR Changes.
Though i can’t say taking on the enemy team with only a pair of AIM-9Es is practical either since your team presumably consists of aircraft that are fully spaded and have much more capable missiles than you.
In all honesty, i just want to see the plane go down in BR so i don’t have to put up against Hornets, the Bison or the F-16A.
Same kinda goes in ground. Sure, playing CAS shouldn’t just be point-and-click, But having to dodge volleys of IRIS-T just to have the slight chance of firing a single AGM-65 isn’t fun either.
they had good mobility for a heavy tank, the Sla.16 especially
The mobility nerf is a bit shame but they should play fine despite that
for killing IRIS-Ts, just keep your speed, spam all of them at once and then run tf away while spamming flares. the IRIS-T loses track when you spam AGMs for some reason
good mobility for a 70t tank, but not for a heavy tank, T34/29 have way better mobility and cannon, just weakened by the long reload
I haven’t really found the T34’s mobility to be amazing compared to the tiger 2 but I’ll take your word for it
I am literally ignoring the IRIS-T in this clip. anything with 6 AGMs will easily counter it
I could try, but the F-4E is lacking the Pave Spike (present on the Kurnass 2000) that allows in easier target spotting. So it’s going to be hard finding the Radar platform before it’s too late.
T34 is lighter than Tiger 2 and has a better engine (rn Tiger 2 with 700hp vs. T34 with 716hp as default cuz i don’t own it)
I call it historical accuracy
again, F-4E lacks a targeting pod that Gaijin has yet to add to the F-4E, despite existing on the Kurnass 2000.
Hello, I would like to address the change you are making to the T29’s reload time. The Tank has had a 12.5 second reload since it was added at 6.7. The tank was increased in battlerating a few updates ago to 7.0 and it performs optimally at that battlerating. In matches at 6.0 - 7.3 it can play well as a frontline brawler, and in matches at 7.7 - 8.0 it performs a decent role as a support vehicle, staying away from frontline engagements due to HEAT-FS, APDS, and more adanced armor like the T-54s, T-55O, Maus, Conqueror, T-10A, IS-3, IS-4M, etc. In these full upteirs it can sometimes get away with playing aggresive in the right scenarios, but is much better off taking it slow. Increasing the reload time between shots is only going to hurt the vehicle in every battlerating it participates at, making it much less viable in aggresive game play, forcing it to be a much more passive tank. I’m not really sure why if the T29 is getting a reload time increase the 10.5 tiger isn’t getting the same one as well. The 10.5 tiger was given a reload reduction of 15.4 seconds to the same 12.5 second reload time as the T29. Combine that with the stereoscopic range finder accurate to 4km, the 900HP engine giving it much higher acceleration than the T29 and speed, and the 343gm of HE filler in the 10.5 Tiger shell vs the 177gm of the T29, while maitaining nearly the same penetration. It was clear the 10.5 tiger 2 was slightly better, the Only 2 things the T29 did better was a top mounted .50 cal and 2 degrees more gun depression. Now with the reload nerf to the T29 the 10.5 tiger will be outright the best heavy tank at 7.0.
T-4 should not be 8.0 I agree, but not 6.7, that is incredibly low. somewhere from 7.0 to 7.7 would make more sense
10.5 tiger is unobtainable, no point changing something that only a fraction of the playerbase has.
T-4? What are you talking about?
Nope, has M774 and M833 but no M900 in game right now. And I see no mention of it being added in the changes.
