It is at 9.3 in AB and RB, and there is no reason to keep it low in sim.
In sim, this aircraft should be even higher than 9.3 due to its extremely good kinematics, cockpit visibility, and quality of its guns with 1100m/s projectile velocity.

Kinematically, Ariete is comparable to 9.7 aircraft like MiG-19S, and not the 9.0 sim aircraft. It runs circles around 9.0 aircraft in sim easily. Ariete and MiG-19S have comparable basic equipment, making the kinematics comparison fair.

In sim, cockpit visibility is of great importance, and Ariete has a fantastic visibility, above average cockpit visibility.

Guns quality. 1100m/s projectile velocity is best in game, vastly above air cannons quality of anything below 10.0.
German + Premium is a potent combination. The clovis is sat at 8.0 with a 4 second reload and laser range finder ffs.

Reason: T-80UD has been quite broken for many patches, particularly the armor and…just about everything except for reverse speed, let’s be honest. Its stats are bad only because a lot of new players bought it, so idk.
True Decompression? Impossible. Here is 0.3BR increase in ARB while we ignore the 12.0 limit of GRB.
AIM-120B is identical to AIM-120A
I agree, the core issue is the compression and the BR reduction of most migs and sabres. I think CL-13B should be one of the first steps in decompressing, alongside Ayit which is happening in this change.

thats not entirely true because F-16C is a true multi-role fighter, yeah its A2G weapons aren’t really a factor in ARB but overall it’s still a good step up over the ADF. I 100% agree that the F-16C should get the AIM-120B or C-5 though
edit: we’re also forgetting F-16A has AIM-9L and not 9M so thats another A2A advantage F-16C has

The tradeoff for the ADF I guess is having AIM-120s over the Derby.
Wouldn’t this functionally just make it identical to the F-16C (ignoring HMD + CM, it’d increase its BR to just be a worse -16C)? I also wonder if the AIM-120 was only used in later models, allowing for F-16A ADF (E) to take the place of the current ADF as a AJ alternative.
Don’t move the MSC up in br. The reason you’re seeing a large boost in winrate is because French players have gone from having 1 10.7 tank to 2-3 if you include the premium. The MSC’s only real standout feature is having the same reload time as an ace-crewed leopard. With many tanks (without autoloaders) being capable of beating it’s 6s reload. This is not enough to put it at 11.0 unless it receives some large buffs.
AIM-120A and AIM-120B are identical in game, giving it the B would change nothing about its performance. Only C-5 would change its performance.
