yea no sorry to tell you.
Unless its a very late game 1 on 1, there are not gonna be actual dogfights occuring.
Vehicle: Sovetsky Soyuz
Gamemode: Naval Arcade & Naval Realistic
BR Change: 8.7 —> 9.0 (9.3 would be better)
Reason: The Soyuz is without a doubt, the strongest ship in the game and the only ship that realistically stands a chance is the Iowa at 8.7. All other ships are DOA in a 1v1 against a Soyuz. It is completely unreasonable for 7.7 ships to be facing the Soyuz and Ideally, most 8.0s wouldnt either. Even 8.3s would benefit greatly if they didnt have to face the Soyuz but that level of decompression is currently not possible
The OCU has AIM-9M…
How is it worse than the F-16C?
Yes they’re pretty much equal except for at longer ranges where the AIM-120C shines. This is more relevant in the beginning of the match where the F-15E with its rocket spaceship engines can fire AIM-120C from 40km and still hit.
He wants to call you a slur, not me.
It has 45 countermeasures
Don’t waste your time or try to have a discution with them, they already made up their mind.
Mode : Ground Realistic Battles
Vehicle : Stormer HVM
Change : 10.3 → 10.0
Reasoning : Stormer HVM only has missiles with no VT fuse, but 10.3 is not balanced.
I think 10.0 is appropriate.
No, C-5s ig rn are worse in everything but range compared to A/Bs atm. They also pull less when they should pull more.
Haven’t played it for a bit how much better is the turning radius because I remember it being really bad
I wrote this before, but I’ll put it again. The Merkava 2 needs the M428 and the modular armored areas to be much more resistant to KE bullets. Once this is done, they can raise the Br to 10.3 or even 10.7.
no radar HMD & like a 3rd of the countermeasure load
Range isnt their only flaw…
Chaff hungry like no other “top tier” missile
Too many times r77 misses when thy are nowhere near the notch
Turm III 8.3 > 8.7 in GRB
Because it is no coincidence this was the most played vehicle period last time we heard, Falcon is at 8.3 with those 30mm Cannons alone, Turm III is faster and also of course has an autoloaded 105mm shooting DM23 that really makes things like M60A1 and Vickers Mk 3 seem redundant. I realise the APDS is not present on the Turm III 30mm but frankly that SAP/APSE shell it gets is already incredibly strong, it turns anything with 60mm armour is less into scrap and in the Turm III you can effectively prefire and charge around a corner rattling off that powerful round. It can mop up teams.
It shouldn’t be raised because it’s not happening.
Or they could actually buff the Stormer HVM and Starstreaks up to IRL performance rather than ignoring year+ old reports for things like:
- IFF & NCTR
- IRST issues
- Starstreak max range
- Starstreak speed
etc etc
Well, in some cases the devs change the Br with criteria that no one will ever understand.
Alright now that the main decompression load has been dumped and the hate dealt with we can start addressing individual vehicles that need changed.
Leopard A1A1
9.0>8.7
Unlike essentially all it competitors, it has neither LRF nor thermals. On top of essentially no armour, being vulnerable to most autocannons frontally, mediocre mobiltiy, and average firepower.
Vehicle: XM246
Gamemode: Realistic
BR Change: 8-3 → 9.3
Reasoning:
The XM246, whilst lacking an APDS belt, is comparatively much better than the Gepard in the anti-tank role due to it’s centered twin 35mm KDA cannons. It also has a better armor layout than the gepard series, with the only vehicle that is relatively better in that space being the ItPsV 90. But because of the centered layout of the 35mm Oerlikons instead of the spread out ones on the other AA platforms with the same weaponry, users have taken into using the XM246 more of an ‘anti tank’ role instead of the intended anti air role.
And with the XM246 being used on the offensive against tanks instead of air targets, it somehow is able to reliably destroy the most armored of targets thanks to shot-trapping.
