Yeah, and I didn’t want to be Mr Stat Shamer, but i just think it’s important to asks yourself if your struggles in a vehicle are because the vehicle needs to change BR, or if it’s because you’re performing well below average compared to the rest of the community in said vehicle. It’s much easier for him to work on how he is using the Jumbo, than trying to get Gaijin to move it down in BR.

I don’t like doing it either, but you know when you’re arguing with someone here and you just have this… feeling, that something isn’t quite right. Then you check their stats and you immediately know why they have the opinions they do.

Wym lack of historical evidence, you can count the individual flares on the dispenser
You can also just look at the dispenser itself irl and see that it doesnt have that many cms
The namer unlike the puma has bad mobility,worse armor and much better profile so yea puma is better in every way(also better gun?)
Considering the puma isnt in a great place rn it tells u about the namer so the obly reason its going up it cuz the france syndrone which good players make it looks like its a good vehicle

279 does not need to go higher, it is in a bad spot already.
Gets shredded in uptiers and even at its own br. Only full downtiers is where it really shines
Object 279 could go to 9.3. There’s long been a push by the playerbase to get its BR raised but much like the 2S38, Gaijin doesn’t seem to value the player recommendations/feedback on those two.

It’s not. It has continued to increase and increase in kills per spawn, kills per death. It dominates like it always has. 9.3 won’t hurt it. I use it at 9.3.
I’m saying it should go to 8.7, because it should be .3 below Object435 and the others. You cherry-picked the one OP 9.0 that shouldn’t even be 9.0, the Object279.

Not really. Uptiers would be insanely rough though.
The issue with old event vehicles as the 279, is that they are mostly played by veteran players who are much more skilled at the game, hence the stats go up or people call it overpowered.

You lot make me laugh. It’s not about being able not be penned. 279 has a lot more going for it than that. It’s still highly survivable when penned, it is highly mobile (can actually reverse, too), has a lovely 130mm APHE, has nice reload on said 130mm. And for all you heroes going on about how easy it is to pen. I have the entire USSR tree ground out, if I thought it was in a bad place at 9.0, it wouldn’t be my most played tank.
It’s uncommon, but not rare.
