Lets say for the sake of argument the Mirage 4k with its 8x Magic IIs goes down to 12.7. Does the Belgium F-16A with 6x Aim-9M or Gripen A with 6x Aim-9M also get to move down for the same reason, that is being mostly if not only Fox-2s?
and what about the aircraft currently at 12.7 like the Netz with only Python-3s? Can that go down to 12.3 now the Mirage 4k, Gripen A and F-16A are all 12.7?
And now the Netz is 12.3, can the Kurnass 2000 go down to 12.0 because its a phantom with only 6x Python-3s?
and so on and so on.
You cant decompress by creating compression. Though, quite frankly. Most of the 13.0s with ARH you face are a free kill once you get close enough. There is a reason why they are at such a BR and even with a proper decompression. The Mirage 4K would still likely be at the same BR as several with ARH.
Realistically, if you play the Mirage 4000, every F-16’s have advantage over it in dogfighting,…
and i’ve played it yesterday, for some games, and i never seen so many Magic-2 being unable to reach their targets, because of flares.

AIM-7F/M or SuperTemps are better than SUPER530D, and let’s not talk about R-27ER’s,… that we can find at lower BR.

Go play the Mirage 4000, and you’ll see it is nothing scary enough be it against F-16A’s, F-18A’s and early C’s, Su-27/30, MiG-29A’s,… even German F-4F’s are scarier,… due to AIM-120’s.
the mirage can’t get an early lock, due to lacking HMD, and have Magic-2’s as the only way to be played, since Super 530D are the worst Fox-1 within the 12.7-13.3 BR range.
and i still play some S.530D, but it is useful only when your ennemy doesn’t have time to track it’s RWR.
Mirage 2K CS5 has 2x Magic II and 2x 530s. If it had the same loadout as the Mirage 4K it would be 13.0+. Its limited loadout is the ONLY reason its not at 13.0.
Aircraft below like the Mig-29, as much as the R-27ERs are OP broken monsters, only has 2 of them. Then they have 4x R-60Ms, which are substantially weaker to the Magic II
Aim-9L/Python-3 used on every else are also much weaker than Magic II in all but range, though incredibly flare hungry as all non-IRCCM are.
Aircraft like the F-18C might be able to run 2x Aim-9L and 6x Aim-7P, and probably should be 13.0 for the sake of decompression, but Magic IIs are better than 9Ls and SARH does have its weaknesses, like telling everyone they are being fired at by the RWR. Let alone MP is still too high.
And I have no idea why you mentioned SuperTEMPs, unless you think the M4K is somehow weaker than an Tornado? Though quite frankly. After the 4x Skyflash STs have been used up, i generally head back to base to rearm, because the 9Ls arent all that much use 99% of the time.
So they have less missiles, or weaker missiles, or much weaker FM or a combo of 2 of them.

Sure with a HOBS like Magic II, its a decent blow, but its not the end of the world. People treat HMD like they are DOA without it. But I find sometimes its more of hinderance than an asset and ACM just works better
Im slowly grinding down the French tree, though not making it a priority. But 8x Magic IIs sounds like a fun loadout and aircraft looks overall fairly decent. Sure uptiers would suck, as it does in basically every single 13.0 at the moment. But in ASB, where downtiers can be guaranteed, you can just farm kills
Now whats the average of non level 6 noobs buying a tank they have no idea how to play, remember Smin stated the Stridsforden 9040C is a better tank. Hm i wonder what will have the better KD a near end of the line TT tank you have to grind for, or the premium that any new player can buy ans skip the grind for?
Well heres what you’re ignoring, Russia is a very popular nation, many new players decide to google how to grind a TT very fast and buy premium people recommend and many new players think the vehicles will essentially play themselves, i haven’t said it should go up in this conversation so please don’t misinterpret my words.
Its a case of premium tank has a bad KD because new players flock to it. Look at like 90% of top tier premiums
I’ll preface this with a disclaimer that I don’t have the 2S38, however, I genuinely think the issue for the 2S38 occurs between chair and keyboard, like I see people constantly playing it like a T-80 and trying to run and gun, when really it’s a hull down monster. The turret is tiny and all the crew are in the hull, the only chance against a hull down 2S38 is to try and get lucky with the ammunition feed, which can be difficult at range. It might only have -5 degrees of depression, but that’s workable with map knowledge, something a player only gets with time, and not with the off the shelf premium line up.
