wow, you are right in test drive it works as laser rangefinder, i gotta grind the modification and check it in real battle, because if it works like that then maybe its justified but very poorly, 11.0 with dm23 is still laughable
Thought the same, also no 20mm autocannon @ Leopard 2k.
Seems to me its just some elite players pushing up a rare tank and Gajin fell for it.
There is no way this thing is better than a Lepard 2A4 or Leopard 2k. Despite, its planned to up its br.
Edit: Isn’t Lepard 2AV also bumped up? Questionable as well.
Has HEAT, the Muh heavy tank crowd didn’t like it, despite the Leo 1s limitations. Generally I’d like to see a decompression of the 7.7-9.0 range though, it rushes pretty quickly though a lot of technology.
Using the British TT as an example (As I personally think it’s the “best” example of this compression, and it’s the tree I’m most familiar with):
You go from the Centurion Mk.3 at 7.7, with a 20pdr.
To the Centurion Mk.10 at 8.0, with a 105mm.
To the Olifant Mk.1A at 8.3, with a 105mm, APFSDS, & a Laser Range Finder.
To the Chieftain Mk.3/Mk.5 at 8.7, with a 120mm & a standard Range Finder.
To the Chieftain Mk.10 at 9.0, with a 120mm, APFSDS, & a Laser Range Finder.
I’d like to see it something like this:
all 9.3s to 10.0
7.7s remaining as is
the unstabilised MBTs with no LRFs remain at 8.0 (e.g. Leo 1 and M60)
the stabilised MBTs without LRFs and unstabilised MBTs with LRFs to 8.3 (e.g. Cent Mk.10 and OF-40)
stabilised MBTs with LRFs to 8.7 (Type 74C & Type 69)
Early “Large Calibre” MBTs and stabilised MBTs with LRFs and APFSDS at 9.0 (e.g. Chieftain Mk.3 and ZTZ59D1)
The better "large Calibre MBTs and “Basic” MBT modernisations to 9.3 (e.g. Chieftain Mk.5 & Type 74E/F)
Early “Large Calibre” MBTs modernisations and “advanced” MBT modernisations to 9.7 (e.g. Chieftain Mk.10 and M60 TTS)
Not a perfect solution (What to do about the AMX-30s for example), and it would have to move a round a bit as new metas and trends develop. But I feel it would definitely help the (currently) 8.0 MBTs get some more play time and increase their effectiveness. Would also give some of the 7.7 heavies some breathing room from APFSDS too.
the Sparrow F-16s are some of the most fun vehicles in game. if AIM-120s are being added to the ADF and MLU’s then you should add other F-16 variants with sparrows, could even be a “late” or “early”
Some examples could be an F-16A block 15 OCU like we have in game but just with sparrows for the US
and if Taiwan’s F-16A MLU is getting AMRAAMS, it should also get the other weapons that make it the MLU, aswell as returning to the 90 CM’s like before, or giving it its realistic 120
I think the new SPAA needs to go up in BR or cost slightly more SP. Playing 11.0 and getting constant uptiers to 12.0 and dealing with all the new SPAA is painful especially when your trying to spade a 11.3 SPAA and have to compete with an IRIS-T or SPYDER all match for a kill or 2. Vehicles such as ADATS, TOR-M1, OTOMATIC, Type-81C, ITO, or Pansir. Like I’m trying to spade the Flarakrad but guess what I got an IRIS-T on my team, my puny VT1s are no essentially useless.
IIRC that thing doesn’t use laser in it’s RF system so I guess it wouldn’t be right to put LRF modification. That said, that system should be vastly superior to the old RFs found on earlier tanks, hence the speed and accuracy shown in the game.
I would make a better br change with randomly hit my ass on the keyboard
Tornado IDS / Marineflieger.
11.3 → 11.0/10.7
There’s simply no reason anymore to keep them in 11.3 , they are finally dropped to 10.0 in GRB
Having just straight flying striker and 2 x 9L’s is nearly a joke.
thats a great idea
for us 13.3 amraam f16 something like the f16d should be added (it has scored the first amraam kill)
dont use ai for posts
Think about the 11.7 ones.
VAB MEPHISTO GRB 8.7 → 9.0 (Add HOT-3)
Please finally add the HOT-3. You can often get into uptiers where ERA, composite, or soft-kill APS can mean that opponents have to be either incredibly occupied or incredibly unaware. The AFT-09 has long had tandem missiles at 9.0 which improves its lethality considerably. Since the balance is hell-bent on moving every existing 9.0/9.3 vehicle to 9.7, we might as well get something to replace them.
Yeah, those also :D
You really are a threat on GBU’s in airbattles :D
J35XS 10.3->10.7
insane flight model almost untouchable in a full downtier against flareless planes
with 20G aim-9Js and flares and can beat most planes in a 1v1 because of its instant turn rate and has a AOA button to turn even more. probably the most broken plane of its br
zero right to fight F100s and MIG-19s that are defense less
the J35XS is the most bs experience in an uptier, the only plane i’ve been consistently capable to beat it in turnfights is with is the T-2/F-1, and even then you have to lock in because of the 9Js and being flareless.
A10C 12.0 → 11.7
More GRB
Could be lowered on 11.7, since updating new aa’s , and having allready AV8+ on 12.0
What is arguably better, since it is faster, has option on 120’s
And it would not brake games even facing 10.7 AA’s / light tanks what are cabable of doing AA work, since it is so slow
Not really. The Beglit is better than all those tanks. They would’ve been balanced if the Beglit went up.
But now they should move up the Bradley, to 8.7
No it isnt bro what the hell
Begleit is definitely better than BMP-3.
I mean putting SPAA higher because it can kill tanks is kinda double standard, various SPAA with 2x35 mm cannons around BR 8.3-8.7 have also quite good anti-tank ability (Ipsv Leopard, Gepard, ZA-35, …) while still having radar and often better mobility then Falcon and there are alo few SPAA which are also very capable in anti-tank duty (ZSU-57-2, M53/59) which based on your argument could easily get to higher BR then one they are at in the moment. Also as much as Falcon is potent against tanks, it was really forced into that role with Gaijin constantly uptiering it and by that lessening its anti-air ability due to lack of radar.
